This was so funny, 😆 I am still not over the steal the bride scene 🤣

How cute was Vedika with her aunty. And it was about time she came home to see her niece and nephew.
So first surprise; I did not expect Aarti to make a decision to married Jonathan. But really, Aarti running out of another marriage again!!! Don't know if I should laugh or she needs a slap. Gosh the woman is infuriate me in an no nonsense kind of way 😕, shaking my head at her indecisiveness or stubbornness. Clearly she was not over Yash but she was determined to suffer through her life just to convince herself that she was over him because he didn't properly claimed her.

And second surprise , I did not expect Yash to object to the weeding, aside from the dramatic, that was funny and so necessary 😆. They practically made love the day before and here she was still trying to married another man. Yash passionate speech was hot; and that drunken confession, hilarious and about time he went for her with his feeling out in the open for all to hear. The song and dance around each other was getting tiring.
The minutes she undid the knot (like that symbolism) sealed it. Oh my gosh the running scene, straight out of a movie; Aarti shock was hilarious.

I love it, Bee. two stubborn people unwilling to compromise and finally admitting what were in their heart, but did they have to hurt "Johnny English, lol. I suppose deep down he knew she was not fully his.

side note: the speech about intercultural marriage, even says in anger, is a very realistic topic. Its not easy to found the balance. On side always has to do more compromise than the other.

They so deserve a kind of a loving scolding from their family for puting them through ups and down.
still crackin'g 🤣.

this is by far the craziest funniest most romantic chapter in the history of chapters! I loved every moment of it from when Vedika opened the door to the very last!

Who are these two kidding?! They are so in love that words become superfluous when they are in the same room. They seduce with just their eyes and become putty just from that... Aarti literally has to stop herself from jumping at him. He comes just to see her on her first day back!

Aarti loves Jonathan! He is every girl's dream but he is not her dream, her heart already chose. Deep down she knows just as her loved ones save her parents do that she's not being true to her heart. She's restless because her heart is not in this at all but she still convinces herself to go ahead with it.

Yet she cannot deny her true feelings when facing him; she even admits to it when he confronts her. At this point she only goes ahead not to hurt Johnny English 😆 still giggle at that phrase!

My heart goes out to poor Jonathan. He knew how she felt but still chose to marry her. Love can be a little selfish so he chose to love her even if it wasn't returned equally. He did everything right but he still lost the girl because matters of the heart have nothing to do with right or wrong. Yet he's still such a sweetheart who wishes her well even with a shattered heart.

I loved the juxtaposing of western and Indian here. Those are both Aarti's realities and she struggles with just how much of each she posseses. The English side allows her to be herself, and to follow her dreams without restriction. Yet at heart she is Indian with all its restrictions which makes it the complex aspect of her realities. She knows how to handle her English side but she struggles with her Indian identity. Only when she embraces it completely will she embrace her destiny.

Yash I feel has always been waiting on that. He was hoping that she would realize that she's as much Indian as she's English if not more. He hoped she'd come back to him eventually. That is why he did not marry.

He could not accept that she was going to belong to another. This finally forced him to act. He had become desparate when he realized she would marry another despite loving him.

He tried to get through to her whilst sober by showing her the obvious. She could never have with Johnny English what she had with him but they got interrupted. As usual she absconded unable to face the implications of accepting her feelings. What was the poor guy to do?

I can't tell you enough how much I love that scene! I awed, I giggled, I laughed. Especially when he asks for her forgiveness before kidnapping her and she didn't even realize it. ❤️

crazy as it was it finally made Aarti realize where she belonged. How could her heart deny her adorably drunk man? 😆 it may have been a drunken confession but its what she has always longed to hear from him. This time he combined both actions and words to show her that her heart belonged with him. By his side has always been where she belonged because her heart had always been there!

Hilarious, romantic, superbly beautiful! Love love love love love, absolutely loved it!

Then again that's why you're one of my favorite writers! ❤️

edited pg 4 for prev chapter... 😛

I also noted the symbolism of untying the knot but forgot to mention it in my excitement for the last scene 😆

Aarti didn't realize it at the time but she was releasing Jonathan with that act. She was walking to where she'd always been headed: Yash. She did not need to go to Yash, she could have ignored him and gone on with the rituals but she didn't. Why? Because her heart already chose and subconsciously controlled her actions... she couldn't see him in distress but also she could not not go to him; she loved that crazy drunken fool!

she's taking Jhilly di and Tessie poo role of being Tom and Jerry 😆.

All this is Vidhi's fault she's treating her like a baby she's a grow ass woman.
