Chapter 6
"So nothing has change at SM since I left she said."
"No ma. They are still the same."
"So this will be your home from now on. Where your family is, right Beta."
"Yes, Ma"
They made breakfast together and enjoyed it. It's been a while. They used to cook together all the time when he was younger, but not when bauji was home because no son of his worked in the kitchen.
Finally they heard Ansh and Aarti come down the stairs. Ansh as usual insisting to walk down himself. It took them forever to get to the kitchen in the morning.
"Hello my boy"
Ansh was so excited to his father he forget he was still on the stairs and jumped to his father. Luckily Aarti caught him before he hurt himself. Oblivious to the danger that he was in, he pressed forward to his father.
"Pappa Pappa!' Then there was a confused look on his face.
"Pappa Ansh sleep now?"
They laughed.
"No Tiger. We are going to eat now, then we take mamma to work and then we go out for the whole day. And pappa will stay with you all the time now, not only sleepy time"
"Pappa stay here?"
"Yes"
"Mamma, Nani, Pappa stay here." he said excitedly.
There was a happy atmosphere. Like things were as they should be.
Yash dropped Aarti at the office and went inside with her. Aarti was worried as things were always tense between Aaman and Yash.
"Khanna"
"Scindiya" was the terse greeting.
"Uncle Man" Yash hugged Aaman.
"How are you Ansh" he picked him up and they chatted for a while.
Yash was on his way out when he had an idea.
"Khanna, would you consider expanding your business. I am looking for a new venture and I have the capital and the contacts to grow this business. You could still be in control of the interior design section and we can incorporate and events and dcor section which is my expertise. You can think about it and let me know." With that he left.
Yash had taken Ansh to the park and the mall for lunch, where he found another play area. He insisted to walk and would be distracted by everything he saw. Then he got tired and cranky and wanted his mamma. A very tired Yash took his son home. Ansh fell asleep in the car. And when they stopped at home, of course he woke up and expected his pappa to entertain him.
After she had cleared the dishes, Aarti stepped into her bedroom and saw her two guys fast asleep. Ansh wanted all his attention and he also had to feed him and bath him. It seemed Yash was more tired than Ansh when it was time for bed. Ansh was sleeping peacefully in his pappa's arms. He heart gave a somersault as she watched them. He heart full of love. For both of them. She got pj's and left for the spare room.
Aarti was happily working at the office when her phone rang. She saw it was Palak.
"Hello my angel"
"I miss you Bhabhi."
"I miss you too. Why don't you come and visit us."
"Bauji will not allow it. Didn't bhaiya tell you?"
"No Palak."
"We won't even be able to come to your wedding. I miss bhaiya, it is horrible at home without him and I miss my Anshu." She cried.
"I will speak to Yash, maybe he can make your parents see reason"
"I don't think so Bhabhi. Bauji is very stubborn"
"We will work something out, don't worry. Bye now Angel."
"Good bye,Bhabhi."
That night she spoke to Yash.
"Palak called me. She was very upset. She said that they are not allowed to visit us."
"That's right."
"Can you not make peace with your parents? They are your parents after all. They love you. It must be breaking their hearts that you left home like that."
He got up from the couch that he was sitting and stared at her angrily.
"Aarti, don't talk about things you know nothing about. Love? What do they know about love? That woman that my father married never loved me. She only loves her own children. She made my life hell and he did nothing about it. In fact he was never there. He made sure that I was never part of his life. Thank God for Rhada-ma. If not for her, I probably would never have come back from boarding school during breaks. I hated that house. So don't you tell me to go back there and grovel in front of them. They are heartless, superficial people. The only good things they did for me is give me Rhada-ma and my brother and sister. So I would appreciate it if we don't talk about this again." He left the house and didn't come back till much later. She heard the car pull up and heard him go to his room. She got out of bed and went to his room and knocked softly on his door.
"Come in Aarti." He knew it was her.
He was sitting on his bed still fully clothed.
"I'm sorry"
He looked at her remorsefully and said, "No I am sorry. I shouldn't have reacted like that. You did nothing wrong."
She walked to him and sat down at his feet with her head on his knees and took one of his hands in between both of hers.
"I forgive you, Yash. I still love you. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't stop." she said simply. She could not hide it anymore and she knew that he needed to hear it.
"Oh Aarti" he bent down over her and held her and they both cried bitterly for his childhood lost.
When they had both stopped crying. They lay down on the bed and they held each other tightly. And slept peacefully. That was all that was needed for now. She had started mending a broken heart that he didn't even know he still had. He loved her even more now. He trusted her. He knew she accepted him as he was, flaws and all. Her love was unconditional. If she could still love him after everything that he had done, his heart would be safe with her. She was his forever.
He was the happiest man alive when he woke up with his girl still in his arms. She was still sleeping soundly but he could hear the little monkey was awake. He moved her carefully out of his embrace and went to see to his son.
Aaman had agreed to Yash's offer and they were off having a meeting to iron out the final details. Ansh was asleep and it was only her and Rhada ma.
"Ma, tell me about Yash's childhood."
She looked up and he face was immediately sad. She sighed.
"I suppose you should know seeing that you are getting married. Aarti you must prepare yourself for very broken man. When I came there, he was a very unhappy and unloved 5 year old boy. His parents had a love marriage. Suraj loved his wife more than anything in the world. But she was too modern for the very old fashioned Scindiya family and they made her life hell. So much so that she left, leaving her baby behind. We heard later that she had committed suicide 2 years later due to depression. After the divorce, Suraj married G3, a more suitable wife for a Scindiya son. On paper she was the perfect match and she was the perect bahu, but she was a terrible mother to Yash. She never loved him. She never even tried to have a relationship with him. She punished him for the littlest offence. And as soon as he was school ready, she sent him off to boarding school. And it only got worse after she had her own children. His father was no better. Yash is the image of his mother. He was a constant reminder of the woman that he loved and left him. He resented him for it. He avoided him as much as possible and this allowed G3 free reign with what she wanted to do. That little boy had scars on his back when I got there the way she beat him. It was good in many ways that he was at boarding school. When he was home, I tried to protect him as much as I could. He even preferred to sleep in the servant's quarters with me till he was well into his teens. They didn't break him, but they made him hard. I really thought he was incapable of loving anybody but me and his siblings, until the first time he told me about you."
They both cried as Rhada was relaying her story. Aarti felt so hurt for the little boy that Yash was. She grew up in an orphanage, but in many ways her life was better than his. From now on, she would definitely make it better.
"What did he say about me Ma?"
"He was very confused. He said that he met a girl and that she made him break all his rules. You were innocent, an employee and he had used no protection. All rules that he was very careful not to break."
Aart was so embarrassed.
"He told you about that night."
"There are no secrets between us. And I am not judging you for what happened. You just expressed your love. He was so sorry for what he had done to you. But he didn't know how to deal with it. He didn't recognise what he was feeling even then was love, but I did. He even told me about the pregnancy and the money that he offered you. I tried to encourage him to be involved in the child's life at that point, but he felt it would be better for both of you if he stayed away. But of course when Shobaji intervened he was totally lost. He loved his son immediately. Sadly it took him longer to recognise his love for you."
"Ma, I treated him so badly. I judged him so harshly. How will I ever be able to make it up to him?"
"Bahu, you will have the rest of your life to make it up to him."
"Yes, ma. I have and I will."
Again she waited for him to come home and went to knock on his door. He opened the door this time.
"I was hoping that you would come again."
She grabbed him and kissed him passionately. His arms went around her as he kissed her back with equal fervour. He gently kicked the door closed with his foot and they moved towards the bed, kissing and removing the unwanted barriers that were their clothes as they went. When they got to the bed, she pushed him down and lay on top of him. Her hot kisses moving down his neck and shoulders and back up to nibble his ears. Then down to his chest, sucking and gently biting his nipples, causing him to moan in pleasure. She went all the way down to his erect manhood. He shuddered as he felt her mouth close over him. And when he thought he couldn't take it anymore, she stopped and moved back up. She straddled him and guided him inside her. She loved him like he had never been loved before. He watched her all the time. In awe of her beauty and her love for him that was clearly written on her face. He saw that she was almost ready. But she couldn't control it.
"Yash, I can't do this. I can't..."
He swiftly turned so that she was now underneath him and with a few hard thrusts, they were in mutual ecstasy.
"I'm sorry" she said. "I didn't mean for that to happen."
"I'm not complaining" he said happily.
"We should have waited. Our wedding is only a few days away."
"In my heart you are already my wife. You were mine since that first night that you allowed me to be your first. The wedding is just a formality. I love you Mrs Aarti Yash Schindiya"
"I love that name." she smiled, snuggled closer to him.
"Only my name. What about me."
"I love you most, Yash Scindiya."
"Too late. You hurt my feelings. Now how will you make it up to me I wonder?"
She moved out of his embrace and said
"Meet me in the shower and I will show you."
"You are going to make me crazy' he said already aroused again.
"I know, but it's a good kind of crazy and it you don't come now I am likely to start without you."
"Mmm, that would be interesting to see." He said, naughty images flitting through his mind as he followed his beloved to the shower.
