awww another beautiful update! I love that Yash didn't give up on having her mother's blessing even when Aarti herself was tired of it because he knew that she needed her mother to complete her happiness and that is all he wants for her.
I most loved how Aarti announced her pregnancy it was so unique and definitely a way to show him that she was choosing her baby and him over everything else this time by turning down such a great position that would have been a great milestone for her career.

now she is no longer reluctant to be in this relationship but giving it her all! loved, loved, loved it!! ❤️

Finally I am done. Thank you for all the positive a and encouraging comments. I hope you enjoy the last part
Epilogue - Part 11

Aarti has been warned by her doctor that she should rest as much as possible as she was now in her 7th month of pregnancy. Aarti followed the doctors' orders she wanted nothing to go wrong this time. Yash took care of his treasures with so much love. He tried to work from home as much as possible.

That worked out well for them as he could always bounce ideas off her and she often got involved in the projects. This helped alleviate her boredom. The only problem is that it was very difficult to spend so much time together and not to be "together". Yash had a difficult time fighting off his wife and her raging hormones. He had to be strong for both of them but he did manage to find creative ways to pleasure his lovely wife and still adhere to doctors' orders. Luckily pleasing her was pleasure in itself to him.

She wasn't feeling great that day and went to bed early. If it continued she would have to call the doctor in the morning. She fell asleep almost immediately.

She woke up a few hour later with excruciating pain ripping through her abdomen. She felt warm, sticky substance between her legs. She lifted the blankets to see her fear realised. A very familiar fear. It was blood. She was paralyzed. She was too scared to re-act. She was hoping that this was all a bad dream. She just sat there, her body shaking in terror.

Yash, who was now so sensitive to her every move, woke up beside her.

"Aarti"

The look on her face as she turned to him told him everything before he ever saw the blood.

"Honey, it will be ok. We will get you to the hospital. I will be right back."

He ran out of the room shouting for his brothers. Prateek was the first one out of his room.

"Prateek, get the car out now. We need to get Aarti to the hospital now."

When he got back to their room, she was unconscious. Only the need to save his family allowed him to carry on with what needed to get done. He picked her up and walked to the car as fast as he could. In the car he called the doctor and she would meet them there.

It had been hours now, and Yash was pacing the hospital corridor. He was barely holding it together. He didn't speak to anyone, he just kept pacing. Praying.

"Mr. Scindiya", the doctor had finally come out the theatre.

"Yes, doctor how is my wife."

"I can't answer that yet. It does not look good. She is haemorrhaging severely, and our team is still working to stabilise her. We have delivered the baby but his vital signs are extremely weak as he is premature. But trust me we will do everything in our power to save them both."

The doctor left and finally he had a re-action. Last night he had everything, he was so happy. And now he stood the risk of losing everything. He sank on the spot and his body convulsed in heart wrenching sobs. His mother came and held him like he was still her little baby.

Finally the doctor came out again after about another hour.

"Mr. S, your wife has been stabilised but still in a coma. It will still be touch and go for the next few days so we will be monitoring her closely. The baby has been moved to the post-natal ward. He is in an incubator but you can go and see him.

He didn't want to see the baby. He just wanted Aarti. He wanted his wife. Nothing would matter if she is not with him. It was Vidhi who spoke sense into him.

"Yash, go see your baby. That's what Aarti would want you to do. This baby meant the world to her because it was created in love. She wouldn't want you the reject your son."

This penetrated and he went to see Aayu. That is what they had decided to call him when they first found out that it was a boy. He looked so fragile, so tiny. His tiny little baby had tubes and pipes attached to him. Yash felt helpless. He couldn't do anything for his little baby or his wife. But he stayed with him and he spoke to him.

"Hello my brave boy. You really fought to be here today. I can already see how much like your mother you are. She is also a real fighter you know. She is the strongest woman I know. She used to fight with me all the time when we met" he chuckled. "She wanted this big shot career woman. She could have been that. She is beautiful and intelligent. She could've been anything she wanted to be but she chose us. She wanted us more than anything. She loves us so much. That's why I know that she won't leave us. She could never leave us. She will fight for us. Our family will be whole." Silent tears rolled down his cheeks.

Yash spent his days between his son and his wife. Speaking to them, telling them about each other. He only went home to shower and change and then he would go back to the hospital. He didn't work much but he had his laptop to check and respond to e-mails. It was 2 weeks later when he was attending to his e-mails in Aarti's hospital room when he heard a soft groan. He looked up and she saw her eyes were open. He jumped up and went to her.

"Aarti, Sweetheart."

Her eyes closed again.

He ran out to find a doctor. They checked and found that she was more responsive but she remained in a coma.

It was only a week later that she finally came too. He had gone home to shower and Aarti's mother stayed with her.

When he came back, she was awake. She looked at him and gave him a smile. He couldn't believe his eyes. He went to the side of her bed and rubbed his hand over head,"

"Hello my sleeping beauty. How are you feeling?"

"Sore but good. You look terrible."

He chuckled.

"Full of compliments I see"

"I still love you."

"You'd better. You had us worried and little Aayu is missing his mommy."

"When can I see him Yash."

"As soon as you are stronger and can go to the post-natal ward. He has to be in the incubator for a while."

"Then I better get strong quickly."

And she did.

3 years later:

It was great pomp that Master Aayu Scindiya celebrated his 3rd birthday party. He was so very proud that he was a big boy now. He was a big brother. He enjoyed his party immensely. His mother was rushing around replenishing refreshments and seeing to guests while her husband was doting on his baby girls. She couldn't help smiling at how he was looking at the 2 month old Payal and the month old Palak. They were their miracle babies. They had wanted another child but even if Aarti was able to conceive, it was not possible for her to carry the child. They had started the adoption procedure when Vidhi came up with an idea that appealed to the entire family. If they could conceive, then she would be their surrogate. The first implant was successful and she was pregnant. The family was ecstatic. In their excitement about the pregnancy, Yash and Aarti had never cancelled their adoption application. A month after Vidhi gave birth to their little Payal, they got a call to say that a new born baby girl was available for them. Aarti was about to tell the person on the other end of the line that they have a baby and instead she found herself saying "We will come and fetch our daughter,"

She didn't know how to broach the subject to Yash. She went to him, he was busy playing cars on the floor with Aayu.

She just said it. "Yash, the adoption agency called. They have a baby girl for us."

He looked up and their hearts were in agreement.

"Let's go fetch our baby girl, Sweetheart"

"I love you Yash Scindiya,"

"I know. And I'll allow you show me exactly how much tonight,"

She giggled. "I think we are going to need a night nanny."

"Why is that?"

"With 3 kids aged 3 and under, we won't get much sleep and not for the good reason."

"I knew there was a reason I married you. You are very innovative."

"Thank you", she did a mock curtsey. Then she moved close to him and said.

"I love you so much at this moment darling, that nothing will keep me from fulfilling you every desire tonight. You are the best husband in the world."

She still affected him like she did the first night they met. He moved even closer to her, gave her a kiss on the lips and said "I love you too, baby and if we don't leave now we stand the risk of scarring our son for life."

She gasped as she felt him pressing into her.

She moved away, they composed themselves and together they went to collect their 2nd princess. Their happiness and their family were now absolutely complete. Now they prayed for night to fall so that they can be more than just parents to their brood of cherubs. So that they could express their love for each other as husband and wife in every sense of the word.

The end
