Chapter 26 Part A

Akash contacted both the Sharmas and Scindhias in the presence of his relatives, he placed them on speaker informing about the blackmail, after much discussion they decided to pay the money.

Chachi and chacha were so happy their grandkids reputation will be saved yet the ungrateful family still plotted to destroy Akash their greed and selfishness not going away. So what if this plan failed they had hoped to discredit Aarti in the eyes of the wealthy Scindhias and force the Sharmas to agree for her marriage with Karan. They had no clue about the strength of relationship between Aarti and Yash or Karen's preferred sexuality this was the shocker. Neda she will have to be dealt with for the sake of the family.

The kids returned to Bhopal along with Akash and Aripta they needed to speak privately to the families. All met at the SM Akash had the photos he showed it to the parents they weren't surprise at AarYa's because all knew of their relationship, they had observed the difference with the passage of time plus Yash had previously told his bauji his wish to marry Aarti, and Aarti had confided in her Aripta mama about her growing love for Yash.

Akash shared all he knew with the families; he told of how one of the long-time servants had called him with information about the plan his chacha had to closely watch Aarti movements during the weekend trip and photograph her with Karan or Vijay also if they could not get anyone of them together they should give her sedatives in her drink and get the photos the more comprising the better. Akash, the loyal servant, and the body guards came up with this plan to trap his relatives In their own game. Akash and the guards knew of Karan's secret so did the servants because it was not the first weekend of fun for him.

" Akash bhai I think we should get them engage before Yash leaves for London and we will make a public announcement of the same that will buy some time for us to trap those evil people and get them punished they have so much to answer for." Said SP

"We agree with this suggestion "said the Sharmas men "that will temporary stop them from trying this again in the future, but they may try with the help of others to seriously harm our daughter. I do not doubt the capabilities of your security team but anyone can be bought or threatened into committing a horrendous act."

In the end they came up with a plan of action for Aarti's safety that was acceptable to all. Also the engagement ceremony was planned for the day before the double birthday celebrations of AarYa,

Aarti came and sat opposite her Sharma elders and her Parents, they were in the lounge of the Sharma house "Beta you are almost seventeen years and old enough for marriage we have received a proposal for you and we all like the boy so we have agreed for your marriage they family has given us their guarantee that you will continue with your education and be allowed to work if you want. Beta they are good people and the boy is a kind honourable person you will like him and in time love him" They all were looking at her carefully for her reaction to this revelation

"You all don't love me anymore that is why you want to marry me off" she cried "I will be a good girl please don't send me away"

"Beta we are not sending you away and we will always love you, you are our special girl" said her Sharma bade ma hugging her closely

"Then why did you all accept that proposal for me" she continued crying
"Because we thought that it will make you happy" said Aripta coming close to her distraught daughter and sitting next to her rubbing her back "Beta don't cry Yash will be angry with us if finds out about your reaction"

"Because the proposal is from the Scindhias"

This made her stop crying and looked at her parents all six of them suspiciously "Wait a minute are you all teasing me?"

At the SM

"We know beta and it is okay with us you will be engaged before you return to London, and next year will be your wedding happy now beta"

"Yes" he hugged his parents and took their blessing and ran to his room he needed privacy to speak to his beloved Aarti.

SP said to his wife "There is no doubt in my mind that we took the correct decision those two are meant to be together forever" G3 agreed with his husband her son's happiness is all she ever wants, and she loves Aarti and always her in this house as her daughter. Their conversation continued until Yash mother call to inform that he need to get ready as they are going to see his future wife and he has to formally accept in her parents presence.
