Aarthi couldn't sleep that whole night. She realised that that day had a great significance in her life. Last year it was the same day which took away all her happiness, her love and her wishes. Again the day was back next year to return everything it took from her. She realised that her love wasn't lost, it was hidden from her and was still existing very much near her. She patiently waited for the day to dawn. It was going to be a different morning from tomorrow for her. Tomorrow's sun was not only going to spread light to the world, it was also about to spread brightness and warmth in her dark and chill soul. She pinched herself to check whether the things happening around her were indeed real or just an illusion. Her pinch pained her. She enjoyed that sweet pain. She looked at the stars with which she used to pour her innermost feelings and pain. She had always put up a brave face since he left her so that her family doesn't get hurt seeing her state. But deep inside she had kept all her sorrows hidden from the world. It was when she started talking to the stars. Today she went to her balcony and looking at them she spoke

"Few days from today we will have someone joining us. But you all know what I'm angry with you all. Don't you all knew that my love was still alive. The love which I thought was lost and crying all nights in front of you was still alive. But you know I'm in a very good mood today so you all escaped else I wouldn't have talked to you all again ."

As she said those she saw all the stars getting a little dim. She it aarthi smiled and spoke" Now don't appear to be sorry. I told na I forgave you. Get bright we have a lot to talk today". She saw them get bright instantaneously making her giggle. She continued " By the way I need to thank you all . You are the people dominating the horoscope na. So you guys made the plan to make me rediscover my lost love on the same day I lost it ". She saw them twinkling as if nodding in accepting making her smile more wide. She then took out his diary and started reading it along with her sky friends so that she remembered his likes and dislikes more accurately as he was back. Slowly that red lettered night passed away with aarthi not even having a single second of sleep and she welcomed the most awaited morning in her life with her beautiful smile. She just completed her morning routine and went down to she her mother cooking. She went behind and hugged her hard which startled shobha.

Shobha: "What happened aarthi? You seem to be happy today."

Aarthi:" hmm yes maa. Why don't you make jilebis now. I have some wonderful news to share with you all"

Saying so aarthi pinched her cheeks and went away humming a song. Shobha ,though confused , cooked the jilebis aarthi requested for and called everyone for the breakfast. As everyone assembled prem opened the vessel to find jilebis in it. Astonished by finding a sweet dish in the breakfast, he questioned shobha

" Maa is it anyone's birthday or anniversary? As far as I know this isn't an important day then why did you make jilebis in the morning breakfast".

Sathyendra, who was very happy to see the jilebis said" Why are you always questioning prem? Seems you won't let me enjoy eating this mouth watering jilebis".

Shobha immediately took that jilebis out of sathyendra's reach and said" You dare not touch it dubey ji. You will eat all the sweets and I will get scolding from your diabetics doctor and he would say I'm not taking good care of you. Prem if you have any questions regarding these jilebis please ask them to your loving didi. It was she who asked me to make them."

Prem got surprised hearing it. It was her habit to share her happiness with them by feeding them jilebis. But ever since her love left her jilebis were never cooked at their home. He stared hard and aarthi and questioned her

" Why did you ask ma to cook this didi?"

Aarthi brought the jilebi near his mouth and asked him to eat it. He took a bite and asked" Say it didi". Aarthi grinned looking at him while she said" I fed you this jilebi because you are going to kiss that astrologer a thousand time today". Prem looked at her with a shocked expression as he understood her words while their parents looked at their conversation without understanding anything. Prem jumped in joy and exclaimed " Do you really mean what you say didi?" and aarthi nodded to him in affirmative. Shobha, not able to contain her curiosity asked" What are you both talking beta?". Before shobha could complete her question prem hugged aarthi hard and replied his mother" Maa the day for which we were waiting has finally come. Didi is ready to get married". Shobha and Sathyendra eyes widened in excitement as they turned prem's hug to aarthi a family hug. After moving away Sathyendra spoke " Shobha no need of your jilebis now I have something more sweet to cherish now". Shobha made a fake anger as aarthi stuffed the jilebis in both their mouths to avoid further arguments. After enjoying eating the jilebis Sathyendra asked whether he could post her profile in the matrimonial site. Aarthi replied

"Papa I don't want to trouble you with those hence I have already decided the person to whom you should give my hands".

There was a pin drop silence in the room when prem broke the silence by asking who the lucky one was. Aarthi started to narrate the happenings in the temple and the truth that was hidden from them. As she completed all the three of them were staring at her without a blink. Aarthi extended her hands and asked" So now I have told you all about the truth I got to know yesterday. Who are all ready to support this decision of mine". Prem stood up and held her shoulders and spoke

" Didi when he left you last year I wondered why destiny played such a cruel game in your life but now I realise that you are the luckiest person in this world. You get the rare chance to relive the moments you experienced with the love of your life again. I will always stand by you didi".

Saying so he placed his hands over aarthi's extended hand. He was followed by Sathyendra and shobha. Aarthi looked at her loving family, who always stood behind her in her joyous and sad phase of her life and thanked the god for giving such a boon to her in the form of a family. She was brought out of her reverie by Sathyendra who asked the name of her future mother in law. Aarthi replied that her name was gayathri Suraj pratap scindya. Dubey's eyes widened when he exclaimed " Aarthi do you even know who she is? She is the wife of Suraj pratap scindya, the managing director of " SM EVENT MANAGEMENT". It is the topmost event management company. It has it's branches all around india and in foreign countries also. So aarthi the family you have found to get married to is the best one. So when can we meet your would be in laws". Aarthi smiled as she called gayathri and made her parents speak to her. Gayathri agreed to visit aarthi's home along with Suraj that evening itself. Shobha made herself busy into cooking snacks for her guest in the evening while Sathyendra and prem went to buy the gifts for them. Aarthi went to the orphanage in the morning and informed sharma about the news. The news of her agreeing to marriage made way for a celebration in the orphanage. Aarthi's eyes welled up as she realised how her love to him not only gave her his heart but also the hearts of many loving souls in the world. She insisted sharma to join her but he said he had a meeting in the evening with the orphanage's associates. Aarthi didn't want to trouble him much so she agreed to his decision. She then visited the temple thanking the god for bringing her love back into her life.

When she reached home it was already evening. Shobha asked her to get ready and aarthi went to her room and dressed up in a simple Saree she had. While she was getting ready, she came to know that her in laws have arrived as she could hear the chaos downstairs. Aarthi came downstairs to see mr and mrs scindya in the sofa in the hall along with her parents and brother. She took their blessing and served them the snacks as shobha scolded her for wearing such a simple Saree. Gayathri stood up and came near shobha

" Shobha ji, in the current scenario it is difficult to find a girl like aarthi. By just applying cosmetics and by just wearing good clothes and expensive ornaments people doesn't get beautiful. The true beauty lies in the purity of soul and character which your daughter has in abundance. But what you said is true we should add more beauty to your existing beauty aarthi. Show me your hands."

Aarthi stretched out her hands as gayathri put two diamond bangles in her hands. Gayathri added" It is a tradition of scindhya's that the mother in law gives her daughter in law with a bangle. There is a simpler one with vidhi, my elder daughter in law though I gave her the bangles only after she came to the scindhya mansion as a bahu. But in your case, I can't accept anyone as my second bahu except you. You can only make his life bright aarthi. Aarthi another thing never tell him about your past because he won't forgive himself when he realises that his existence is the result of someone's sacrifice". Aarthi nodded her head to gayathri's word in affirmative.

Suraj spoke to Sathyendra stating " You don't worry dubey ji aarthi will a daughter in my home. Do you know how we have four children at home. Gayathri and I always wanted a daughter for us and after three failed attempts we had the fourth child as a girl. So in my house gayathri and I will be aarthi's parents. Just like prem there will be two brothers for her there and we do have two interesting additional packages at home in form of simar and vidhi".

Dubey's eyes welled up. He knew that even if he had searched he wouldn't have found such a family for aarthi. Suraj patted him on his shoulders giving him a friendly hug. Just then asked the scindhyas when they could meet his didi's husband. Suraj replied " Why not? But at first we need to let the people who will be getting married meet first. So aarthi be ready to meet our son tomorrow evening".

Saying so Suraj got up to leave. He was followed by gayathri. Shobha insisted them to stay for dinner but they denied the offer stating they have a whole life time to have the dinner together when they become relatives. The dubeys gifted the scindhyas the things they have brought for them.After the scindhyas left aarthi's family indulged in another group hug. They could sense happiness enter the doorsteps of their home after a year of struggles. After the dinner aarthi entered her room. She felt butterflies in her stomach. She was going to meet the love of her life in an extremely different form next day. She went to her balcony and chit chatted with the stars again. She decided to stay awake that night too. She went near the dressing mirror to pick up his diary when she looked at herself in the mirror and realised there were dark circle under her eyes due to her staying awake the previous night. It was the first time she ever cared for her appearance after his departure. She realised she was transforming. She was transforming into the old aarthi slowly yet steadily. She went to her bed and hugged her pillow letting the sleep to occupy her mind and soul.

Gayathri and Suraj had reached their home right on the dinner time. The excited vidhi, prathiek, simar and pankaj ran towards them waiting to hear what happened at aarthi's place. Gayathri narrated the incidents that happened in aarthi's house. So all the members in scindhya mansion waited for gayathri's second son to return home as he was busy with the arrangement of a client's wedding which was going to take place the next day. They all wanted to talk to him about his marriage. An excited simar and prathiek had already started building castles in air about their would be bhabhi. All they heard from their parents were good things about her and they knew very well it was hard to get such a good name from his parents.

At last they saw him returning home at 11 in the night. He had started dedicating his time and life on the company ever since arpita left him. He had already lost all hopes in his life and his only aim was to keep his family happy. There was once a time when he played pranks on others and laughed out loud. There was once a time when he was never alone. There was once a time when his life was filled with love. But now what remained in him was just voidness. He had hid himself into a cocoon and the cocoon had become more and more harder and stronger within a year. He had become a lean and weak person both physically and mentally. As he entered his home he saw everyone awake at that late night. He got tensed. So he ran to his mother asking whether everything is fine. Gayathri lovingly caressed his head replying" I'm fine beta. We are all awake this time to talk to you. We have decided to get you married beta and please don't refuse this. We haven't asked you to get married for a year and it is the first time we have found someone for you. The whole family loves that girl. Please agree to meet her". Gayathri further told him about aarthi's nature and her family and her meeting with aarthi. Yash was surprised how could a girl won such a high place in his parent's heart in just one day. He saw his brothers,sister and parents eagerly waiting for his reply. He nodded his head in affirmative but said " I have to be there in the marriage ceremony tomorrow evening. Can you ask her to join me in the marriage ma?". Gayathri tried to refuse to this but Suraj accepted to what yash said and assured that he will speak to the dubeys about it. After the long conservation and persuasion the whole family had their dinner in night 12 and everyone dispersed to their room. Yash entered his room which was filled with arpita's photos either alone or along with him. He went near his favourite photo in which she smiled while letting a pigeon fly from her hand and spoke" Arpita tomorrow I'm going to meet a girl whom my parents has chosen for me. I'm going to meet her tomorrow just for my parents' wish. I will accept to this proposal only if she would accept you with open arms. Hope you are not angry with me over my decision". He traced his long fingers over her beautiful face and cried falling on the floor. Soon sleep occupied his tired and anguished soul and body and he closed his eyes lying on the floor.
