So I'm going to Nepal at the end of this month (my home country, yay), and since stuff is so much cheaper than here in Canada, I was wondering if there was any good brand of makeup to look into? LOL I know this sounds strange and I know I AM strange, but since this is the PV forum and I know most of you, I thought I might as well ask here. Anyways, in PV the girls wear such pretty makeup so I thought that India would have some good brands. I heard of Lakme. Are there any other good brands?

Oh and if there are other good things to get there, let me know please. I want to make the most out of my trip because I don't know when I'll go next. 😛

Once again, sorry for the weird topic. 😆

Wow a trip to Nepal. I'm so happy for you Saffi 🤗. You'll get to meet and spend time with your extended family and friends

Saffi in India Lakme is very famous and an very old brand.
But nowadays all international brands like Lo'real, Covergirl ( I think) and some others are also easily available in India. But I'll ask someone and let you know, if there are any more famous brands that were recently launched and are very famous 😊

Aww thank you Nikki! I'm guessing the international brands are a lot cheaper there too then. 😛 But my mom keeps telling me that the quality of makeup won't be good there so it's better off being bought here. Plus she says I don't need any makeup. >.<

I don't think Saffi that the quality will be that bad. Yes they'll be cheaper than what we pay here in America/ Canada.
But of your mom says that you don't need any makeup than you better listen to her, cause moms are Never wrong 😳.

I hope the quality isn't that bad because if it's cheaper there, then I want to buy some. I really like makeup but I'm too lazy to wear it. 😆 My mom just says that because she knows I'll end up spending a lot of money but won't end up wearing any of it. 😛

Your mom is one smart lady 😉
Don't our moms know us too well 😡 😆

And I still think that the quality won't be that bad, as millions of girls and women, who lives there, uses them on daily basis. Plus they are the top brands so they can't be bad.

LOL sure, yeah they do. 😛 That's true - the quality probably isn't that bad. My mom was probably talking about some local products that weren't so bad. 😆 And the makeup artists in movies/shows must use something for actors too right? 😛

If you're getting international brands, try MAC, Revlon or Maybelline. I would go for MAC. You should try Chanel too...don't ask me how I know this.

Lol Carissa, I know all about international brands. 😆 Yeah, I like MAC but I honestly think there are great drugstore dupes for their products with equal pigmentation, so I prefer smaller brands. BTW some Wet n Wild products are AMAZING. Not all of them though. But some of them are like better than mac products. Their colon icon 8 eyeshadow palette thingies are so pigmented, love it!
