I hope Gurmeet's next show and role is something which has substance, as each of his characters have had till date, be it Lord Ram , Maan or Yash! I would definitely not want to see him in anything of the above mentioned roles though, because I want to see him in a completely new character...which isn't similar to either of the ones he has played before!
Maan was a very strong character indeed, and so were Ram and Yash...but if romance is all that 4lions ahs to offer, especially the kind of romance they show in all their shows, and if they are unable to show a hero unlike Maan /Arnav/Asad/Arjun , I hope he stays away from them...If , on the other hand, they can break the mould, show romance in a different way without the highly irritating backgrounds, and the stale catch and fall and eyelocks, something more real, more subtle...and if they are able to conceptualize a hero, as strong as Maan, but unlike him in the other aspects, I have no problem.As far as fame is concerned, every show Gurmeet has done , has brought him fame... Ram gave him international fame, it made him extremely popular in countries like Sri Lanka, Malayasia, Indonesia...where Ramayan was watched and was a huge hit, not to mention that it made him very popular in India, GHSP gave him Indian and international fame, esp among audience who love to watch romance...while PV made him popular in South Africa where zee is the only channel they watch, and gave him a different set of fans. in India.

I agree with u...in every role Gurmeet get fame from different age groups and
I also don't want to see in those typical romantic role..From all 4Lions heros' Maan was the best and very strong character...
