Thank you Alamelu. Yes i always wanted to see that myself - Yash becoming curious about Arti's life before he knew her, especially her childhood. I just touched on it here. But i have explored my version of it in more detail in two of my FFs - Dil Jaanta Hai and Soul Connection. Very different childhoods in each though. (And i won't apologize for the shameless plugging 😉).

I remember when Pearl asked me to write an OS for the contest i was debating between a romantic one and this one. Ultimately i decided to go with the one that's more in my style, the one i felt more at peace with (though i did throw in a romantic sort of scene here too).

So i am especially glad that you, one of my most regular readers, liked this and the story left you with a sense of peace, serenity. The ending came by itself as i wrote - and i left it unchanged.

And don't worry about DJH - take your time. Absolutely no apologies necessary - it just thrills me that you read every update even when you are busy. So thank you for that 🤗.
