Karan V Grover and Aamna Shariff approached for Punar Vivah 2

A recent media report suggested that hit on-screen pair, Angad Hasija and Sara Khan, has been approached to play the lead couple in Shashi and Sumeet Mittal's season two of Punar Vivah.

But now, we have been informed by reliable sources that Karan V Grover, seen in Hum Aapke Hain In-Laws and Aamna Shariff, last seen in Hongey Judaa Na Hum, have also been approached for the same. And if our sources are to be believed, they have surged ahead of the other contenders who have auditioned for the roles.

Season two of Punar Vivah is expected to launch sometime in May. Informs the source, "Karan tops the list and in all likelihood, will be seen in the new season of Punar Vivah. Aamna is the favourite among the actresses who have auditioned." Both Karan and Aamna didn't revert to our text message. Producer Sumeet said, "A lot of actors are being auditioned and we haven't finalised anyone yet."

LOL, Mou, weren't you talking about this guy yesterday? I would rather have Karan-Aamna than Sara-Angad! But no one can match the intensity of GK's chemistry and acting abilities.

Hahaha Anu , yes he is the guy I was talking about. You know I was a huge Rajeev-Amna fan from KTH days...never thought anyone can top them. But then last year Gurmeet-Kratika came and blew me away not only with their chemistry but also their powerful acting.

I thought KVG was busy with his show but I guess I was wrong. Anyways. I don't care about who is going to be cast because I am not going to watch the second season anyways. I wish the Mittals luck. =)

What's so shocking about the news though? Someone has to be cast as the lead for the new season right? As always, TOI hasn't mentioned who their "source" is. I would go with what Sumeet sir has said that no one has been finalised yet. =) And it hasn't been said that the second season would go on-air in mid-May. Sometime in May could also mean end-May. 😃
