PV Remake in Kannada!

OMG!

I just found the trailer for PV in Kannada! 😃

It just goes to show how much Zee is capitalising on the show and the story! It is in so many languages now and doing really well from what I hear. 👏

It is a remake, not a dub; the Karnataka government doesn't allow dubbing of other languages because they believe that Kannada actors would be employed there and not do Kannada projects which is silly, but that is how it is. However, this makes it even more interesting in some ways.

@anitu: South serials tend to focus more on the story than the chemistry of the leads, from what I know. They are much more realistic looking whereas in Hindi TV, chemistry is mostly manufactured by sets, music and lighting. That is why I am interested to see a remake rather than a dub because we can actually see how things are presented differently. 😊

@Shobhs: Are you Kannada? If so, how did I not know this before? 😃

There is a trailer of the kids on the facebook page which I didn't post here because it is very dialogue heavy, but you should watch that if you get a chance... each kid wondering about their new parent.

Chemistry and romantic scenes lacks..We are not saying if romance is not there story is bad kind off..But romance and chemistry will spice up the story..Coming to punar vivah , aarthi-yash love is the highlight...we have those expectation..Lets wait..I cant wait for the 4-5 episode where both dash in train😆😆

@Anithu: Precisely. I have watched bits and pieces of both Tamil and Kannada serial with various grandparents and I tend not to like them because I am partial to the glitz and glamour. But we will have to see if this show breaks the mould. 😉

@Shobhs: No way! I am from Bangalore; such a small world. To be honest, I don't think the Kannada version will match up in production value or acting to our PV, but what I am most interested in is the sort of cultural differences, both in presentation and in the content itself. Like, what will Gayatri and SP look like here? How will Bua be dressed as a widow? How will the wedding be shown etc?

Thanks Sammana for the links me too waiting to see the remake version of PV , basically my mother tongue is Tamil,since childhood I love watching programs in regional languages. So insha Allah waiting for the show to air.
