BLAH episode!

The whole famiy drama is getting out of hand, there is too much tension and plotting by Ishita!
Chetan Pandit was the star of the episode! Kudos to CP!😳
I officially can't stand Ishita, she's getting on my nerves with her eavesdropping, scheming, and executing her plans!
How the hell does she always end up eavesdropping on AarYa, and the awesome duo of Yash-Aarti are investigating who put Radha on the bed, and in the process they run into Ishita and actually fall in her trap, how ridiculous! In the name of cinematic liberty, they made both Yash-Aarti look so dumb today!
They actually believed every word of hers, while her body language and way of twisting the whole thing was so suspicious! This is exactly what is going to tick off a regular TRP viewers, dumb leads and a random vamp!
And again we hear Ishita's self thought about how she won't allow the happiness to enter Scindia household - what exactly is her motive? They are totally wasting her potential by making her 'ruin the happiness of the family' She has so much more potential if they use her as trying to get Yash from Aarti, that would make more sense too! I had so many more expectations from her as that would have started a whole new exclusive Yash-Aarti track, but there is absolutely no consistency in her character just like Prashant!

And with the whole no TRP phase coming up again, I'm really scared as without the numbers to look for feedback, if they keep up the family drama and SP-Radha-Akash-Ishita story going while AarYa are shown as fillers, they will suffer more than the last time!

They have to understand this kind of planning and plotting works only in female oriented shows like SNS, but PV is different, the USP of this show has always been AarYa and the kids! The audience has always loved the tracks with the story revolving around AarYa (not necessarily the screen time) and the kids, for ex. After AarYa marriage phase, Ansh kidnapping, Yash-Arpita-Aarti tracks, post-Mumbai track, Aarti's pregnancy revelation, Ansh re-kidnapped track where AarYa are blackmailed to separate, Yash's illegitimate track (2.3), they all garnered maximum numbers
On the other hand, Prashant cancer - Dubeys track, Akash coming in SM (1.8) and more than necessary focus on side characters has always led to downfalls!

And to be honest, the precap about Radha's suicide is not going to generate any suspense or curiosity since people are not attached to Radha as they were with Gayatri, so they really don't care! Also Radha, although is Yash's mother, isn't really doing much in terms of her connection to Yash-Aarti in the story! And its quite predictable that nothing will happen to her since they can't show two deaths within a week in the same show, its quite obvious!

In short, CVs need to buck up because competition is growing at the 10:30 slot, and there are fresh options available, and people watch this show for Yash-Aarti, so they need to give us an exclusive AarYa storyline with parallel tracks like SP-Radha remarriage, Vidhi-Vedika-Pankaj equations, Paridhi working again, Prateek growing a spine, etc. And the easiest option is to utilize Ishita as a vamp to spice up AarYa's love story and generate curiosity by occasional creating threats to Aarti's pregnancy (by Ishita) so that the viewers are kept on the toes!

Hun, I understand that they are in a transition phase at the moment, but why make the whole motive of the sole antagonist so loose and pointless, this way neither will we feel any sympathy for others (like Radha or Yash-Aarti) nor will we be able to feel connected to the characters!

I'm glad to have found some agreement tellyme, I feel exactly the same way, even in the illegitimate track, we had focus on AarYa only while Akash-Ishita were more of parallels, but nowadays the whole show seems to be consumed by all the side characters - Scindia members and AarYa scenes have almost no purpose, which is odd, and even I am feeling very disconnected with the on-goings in the show, in fact I was hoping today was Friday so it would be the last episode of the week, this has never happened before!

Ishita's eavesdropping are funny she stands miles away and hear clearly 😆

I think CVs will learn from their mistakes this time around unlike prashant track.Maybe the story will revolve around Aarya and ishita trying to harm the baby.

I haven't seen today's episode yet, but I've personally been OK with this week's episodes, and found some merit in them as the writers get the family transitioning after Gayatri's death. However, you've made some excellent points and observations:

On the bold, really good observations. I'm sure the EPs have noticed these patterns as well as they look at ratings breakdowns, and hopefully make adjustments to suit, especially now.

I also fully agree with you on the current characterization for Ishita. I said the same thing on the DC -- her characterization is as problematic/unstable as the Ex's characterization was and it doesn't bode well if her current actions are prolonged and Yash and Aarti remain oblivious to her machinations. We really can't afford a repeat of what happened in October when the Ex returned and we had a similar ratings blackout.

I'm sure our EPs would want to avoid having to scramble for recovery like they did the last time. So they'll need to keep the momentum up and, as you observed, keep stories Yash-Aarti-pregnancy-kids centered. In fact, I've been reading idea suggestions that Ishita could start targeting the baby and Aarti's insecurities about the baby. That could certainly work; it would provide needed story tension and keep Yash-Aarti as the heart of the show. And IA, at the same time, the writers can still work on parallel stories with Pankaj/Vidhi/Vedika, SP/Radha, etc. I like your idea too about Pari working again.

Hopefully, they see your suggestions, or see suggestions like yours, or come up with similar ideas to take them through the next three months. I believe they'll try to avoid a repeat of what happened the last time.

^ Thanks for agreeing on some points dear, and I hope the CVs realize that we can't afford another dip in the ratings and they have learnt from the mistakes in the past, but the current situation of the show seems to indicate that they don't realize the importance of a Yash-Aarti centric track, as everything is centered around Akash's insecurities and Radha-SP-Ishita angle!
