I feel like Yash/Aarthi will try very hard to change Akash. However, Akash is pretty stubborn and probably doesn't want to change. Since 1 week isn't much time to completely change a person who doesn't even want to change, I feel like this is where Gayathri will step in.
While SP was telling them they only had 1 week, she was crying pretty hard. I think for the first time, if SP tries to kick Akash out, she'll go against him. She may say that he is her child and the reason for his misbehavior is due to SP's past actions.
So I wrote that before watching the episode today. Now that I've seen it, I have to say I'm glad Gayathri is already sticking up for him :)
