Oh dear, we're still talking about the KSG thing? 😳 I thought we would have been long past it already. Oh, Kratika, what a can of worms you've inadvertently opened! 😆
Thanks for the well-wishes, Borna. 🤗 Feeling much better now. I certainly have my preferences, but I don't do wish-lists as a viewer, even though I completely understand why actors have them. All I do is wish them well in whatever project they do next. On Kratika's antics, I agree. 😆 They do seem to love her for that. The PV set seems like such a great place to work.
WORD, Jac. Word. You read my mind again. And I can safely say we're not the only ones who feel this way about that acting partnership!
I'm glad to be in such good company. I'm just really happy to enjoy Kratika and Gurmeet's work together now, in the present. Honestly, like Anu and Nina were saying some posts back, I wouldn't mind seeing Kratika and Gurmeet work together again in another project, if it ever happened (OK, that's an understatement, I would actually love it if they worked together again in another project). But if not, I'm OK with that too. Whatever happens when PV is over will take care of itself. Hope all went well for your exams! 😊
Chillax friends...we have G&K to drive us nuts for some long time...so lets njy PV !! We were fortunate to have Mittals and G&K !! So would like to thank them in this occasion !!
I agree, Sudha. We have no control over who Kratika or Gurmeet is cast to work with in the future, so I'm quite content to enjoy her acting partnership with him in PV now, reminisce over her past shows, and let the future take care of itself. On the bold, IA, we've been blessed to have the Mittals create such a great show and that Gurmeet and Kratika want to tell the story for us.
Speaking of the present, Sudha, you mentioned the apparent bond between Kratika and Palak. IA. There's one of the recent BTS stills where Palak leans against Kratika between takes that had me smiling so much. This one:
Nina, just saw your review on Monday's episode. Great read! Gayatri's scolding of Ansh shows her finally snapping. IA, she didn't need to say any more after Aarti had already scolded him and Bua added her 2c. But she's noticeably reverting to the Gayatri we knew when Aarti and Ansh moved to the SM -- the "insecure, shifty Gayatri." She's finally beginning to unleash as the reality that Akash is indeed her son sinks in and she wants to defend him.
About the preview, I read that too. On one hand, I'm glad someone finally offloads on Radha. On the other hand, it's hard to see Gayatri inadvertently being harsh to Yash. He had no control over the circumstances of his conception or the swapping. Her venom is really towards Radha, but Yash gets the sting as well. She has no positive view of Radha and blames her for the man Akash is today. She doesn't realize Akash acts this way due to years of rejection and humiliation, and now faces continued rejection by the family with whom he's blood related. So she's finally instinctively venting over her husband's indiscretion and reaching out to the son she doesn't know. Unfortunately, Yash and his children are getting the first hits. The kids were definitely scared. The way Ansh clung to Yash and then Palak clung to Aarti said it all. I don't think Gayatri realized her volatility until she looked up and saw shock or disappointment on the faces around her.
On the possibilities for Yash and Aarti, like you, I wouldn't mind at all if they leave with the kids for awhile, leaving the Scindias at Akash and Ishita's mercy (I can't imagine that being a pretty prospect), and maybe starting and succeeding in their own business (along the lines of what Jyoti's father-in-law suggested a little while back).
IA on Aarti's words coming back to haunt her. Not looking forward to it, but I'm expecting it. This is shaping up to be an education for both Yash and Aarti. For me, Aarti needs more cautious optimism, which would allow her to remain welcoming and compassionate (who she is) without sacrificing too much (the selfish, self-preservation part). She has acknowledged they have a tough road ahead, but she's so positive and hopeful about their endgame that I find her a bit unrealistic about how they're navigating this "tough road". Yash is often the more realistic of the two, and I saw shades of it in his contemplation of Ansh's reaction to Gayatri's rant. It's true children rebound easily and Ansh has in this case, but it's possible Yash may be beginning to feel a bit unsettled while Aarti's still moving forward with high hopes, willing to make these "sacrifices" for the sake of the "greater good". Her ability to be optimistic is one of her strengths and helps her survive, but, IMHO, it becomes a weakness when it causes her to suppress/avoid/miss the bad or ugly things because she's so focused on keeping everyone happy. The focus on the happy end works sometimes, like when she discovered Bua was sabotaging her progress with Palak, but didn't say anything to Yash. Still, she can't afford to do that in every situation, and I think that's the harsh reality she may eventually learn here.
I'd love to see Yash and Aarti be a little more guarded or deliberate in dealing with new people in their lives. It was something I'd hoped to see with Yash, in particular, after the Ex manipulated them. However, the writers have kept them both with their hearts on their sleeves, and we're seeing how their natural openheartedness makes them easy prey for Lady Macbeth's vengeful maneuvers on one end and Akash's reckless simmering on the other. Unlike SP who was wary about bringing in Akash from the onset, they really aren't foreseeing the havoc Akash and Ishita can/will make of their the lives. I mentioned this before, but I really do hope that, within this arc and afterwards, the writers allow Yash and Aarti to become more "corrupted", intuitive versions of themselves while still keeping them compassionate and openhearted.
On Gayatri possibly doing something she'll later regret, it won't surprise me. Like Yash and Aarti, she's definitely on a learning curve right now. For now, she'll very likely continue to break Yash and Aarti's hearts without meaning to. Eventually, I'm guessing she'll realize that loving Akash and getting to know him doesn't mean he needs to replace Yash, the son she raised and loved without knowing he's Radha's biological son. She'll hopefully realize her love as a mother isn't bound by blood or birth.
Ack! Me and my rambling. 😆 Let me go to bed. I'll catch up with everyone later.Originally posted by: salvatore-nina
I liked Naman-P2 pairing more. The guy who played Saksham wasn't great at acting and I thought Naman was slightly better. I'd like to see Kratika work with Gautam as well but I don't know if he's tall enough for her and he's a decent actor and I like him a lot but he has a little bit more to go to reach Kratika's level of acting. Didn't KSG play Kratika's stepdad in KZK? I read that on the QH forum. Or did he already leave the show when Kratika came in as part of the new generation?

P2 was not Sneha and Sharad's daughter?! 😲 All this while, I was thinking that P2 was their own daughter! Wow, I was really living under a rock! 😆
