I am happy that you thought of my pointers as punch lines.
Another fabulous episode.👏
The focus is all now on Yash. What is going on in his mind. Yesterday he was genuinely upset that he has wronged SP and his apology today too was a follow up to last night. Yet, I couldn't help thinking that at some level he was keenly observing his family members' reactions.
SP is the king of their family. Integrity, compassion and justice are all different facets of a just King. Yet when a King abdicates these traits for his injured ego, he divides his kingdom where his authority is questioned and rejected. If SP is indeed behind the kidnapping it is only a matter of time before he falls in the eyes of his own family. Samana, if you ever read this thanks to you, the story of King Lear refuses to leave my mind. I totally see the King Lear - Cordelia connection in SP and Aarti and could Yash be Edgar who was characterized by compassion, integrity and a strong sense of justice'all the qualities that Lear (SP) once possessed.
Gayatri again rises up to the occasion. Our CVs always does this. When one family member falls victim to their own negative traits, there is always another one to take the place of an empathetic family member. During Post Mumbai track it was SP. Today it is Gayu.
Bua remains Bua. Venemous, spiteful using any advantage she has to forward her cause which at this point I am not even sure what it is.
I said this in the morning and I am saying it again, someone needs to duct tape Panku's mouth. Vidhi was clearly shocked hearing the demands of the kidnapper. So many days have passed since the lie came out in the open. And so much has happened in the aftermath of divorce lie. Enough time has passed for Vidhi to come to terms with the lie and muster some courage to go to Aarti and offer some kind words. But alas, she continues to stay in her cocoon.
The scene between Yash and Aarti was a tear jerker. Aarti is clearly at her wits end. Today, I truly wondered how long can she hold it all together. How much has she grown in this relationship? How much has she changed in this relationship? Last time Ansh was kidnapped, she couldn't trust anyone not even Yash. She even ventured out to find him all by herself until Yash forced her to go along with him. In fact, this has always been one of Aarti's issues that she feels she is the only one capable of solving all the problems. But look at her today. She has utmost faith in Yash that he would be able to find Ansh. The earlier Aarti would be roaming all of Bhopal like a mad woman looking for her son. The only two entities she has complete faith in is Yash and her God. When Yash came back and told her he couldn't find Ansh she runs to her God to see if He would help her. It was heartbreaking to watch the mother in her breaking down as each second passed.
As if it wasn't enough that at that point I was bawling my heart out then Yash joins Aarti and starts crying. What an emotional scene. Yesterday, I had mentioned that Aarti would be the likely candidate to initiate the divorce. Way off base. Again how far has Aarti come. Earlier she would do anything, anything to save Ansh's life. Today, she will still do anything except for leaving Yash. He has become her life support, the reason she still has some strength left in her.
Coming to Yash, something is definitely cooking in his head. I would like to think that he signed the divorce papers to flush out the kidnapper but if I was in his place I probably would do anything so that my son stays safe. Wether it is an act or not, he too is clearly devastated. How amazingly the CVs are depicting various kinds of child parent bond. Yash is ready for any sacrifice including his love in order to save his little son and SP on the other hand cannot offer even a word of sincere comfort to his son in his hour of greatest need. That part where he goes and asks SP for help was heart wrenching.
Palak- Aarti scene was the cutest. This little girl has become the voice of sanity amidst all this madness for Aarti. I loved the way she followed Aarti to the door to see if Ansh is back. I loved the way her face had a slight frown watching Aarti crumple at the entrance as well as upstairs in the bedroom. If there truly would be a separation, I think Palak will understand the choice her parents made.
I have come to the conclusion that I really want Yash and Aarti to separate. The family needs to see first hand how incomplete this family is without the two people who hold it together. And a part of me wants Yash and Aarti to do another wedding, I know it is filmy😆, and to renew their vows and their commitment to this beautiful relationship that they have carved out for each other.😳

@Kirthi: Beautiful post. Just now I replied to this thread made on MF on the 27th. KING LIAR(not KING LEAR)
and here is what I had to say! Though the parallels of the story runs true!
Great post but I hope Yash does not die after all is said and done! 😕
I'm saying this because you have compared him to Cordelia.
