I am tempted to say if Prashant had to die, why did they have to make Yash a killer in that sense. They could have just let him die of Cancer. Instead of dramatizing this. May be this was to contrast how bad he was compared to Yash...Thoughts?

to show how contrast is he with yash, to bring aarti through out, to show how good prasanth as father.. 😉

Agree with Yamunah actually!

It's to compare how good is he as a father and husband! But in this case, it is much more to describe his behavior towards Ansh!

He is an evil person and he had proved that he is nothing compared to Yash..

Had he died of cancer he would have got the sympathy of everyone and left Aarti too in guilt...as now she had seen him return to her life...

This way she is free of guilt and sure of her future life safe with Yash and their kids!
