P a dad who packed up and left his son, the precious soul left in his care way before or precisely 6 months before he was born. In fact he never laid eyes on his face for a whole 6 years and some. He did not care to know his son's birth date, his joys, sorrows or cuddly hugs. He was too busy doing his stuff – he wanted to do nothing with his child or his child's mother. He can be called the most selfish man in the planet. He is so self-centered he can think of none other than himself. He will never realize that his self-absorption caused him to leave behind tiny person that would have trusted him and loved him. And so it was until ………..he met that tiny individual by chance on the highway to Lalitpur. By then he had been diagnosed with advanced cancer and was informed that only his son's bone marrow could give him life anew. So he befriended his son – by playing the role of a good Samaritan Uncle and in bargain seeking to be friends forever.

He never realized how much harder his son's life had been because of his absence as all his son could talk about was the love and warmth of his Yash papa – his X wife's current husband. His X wife reluctantly on humanitarian grounds consented for the BMT and he recovered completely from his cancer. By then he had observed his son with his Yash papa and he suddenly began to comprehend and realize what he had missed – the hugs, the hero worship, the trust and love of his son. He wanted him now – because he was lonely and needed someone to tide over the emptiness. He was unhappy watching Yash step into the picture and be the father that his son ran to with open arms for a hug and jalebis.

He wanted his son – but Yash papa and his X wife were entrenched in his son's life. So he took his Kaki and stormed into SM. His Kaki laid claim both on his X and his son but Yash would not part – however it did achieve one objective his son was emphatically informed (by Kaki) that he – Prashant was his father not Yash. He now resorted to stalking his son and when opportunity provided waylay him and offer him advice on how to be a "man" and return tit-for-tat or should I say a blow on the forehead with a stone-for-a shove. He taught his son how to give in to violence and assuage his anger at petty rebukes and would have succeeded – if it were not for Yash papa and his X wife. His son gave in to Yash's teachings but he avowed he would mold his son in his ways. The next day he picked his son early from school and took him away for the evening. He used this evening to do some parent bashing - I mean bashing Yash and his X, Aarti and make his son believe that for him his son was priority while the same did not hold true for Yash! He also gave his son a gift and fed him chocolates and ice cream with the hope that this would procure him the love and admiration that his son has for Yash papa.

Dear friends – need I spell out in detail how messed up Ansh feels? He is wondering who is his real papa and why is his dost uncle claiming to be his papa? Why is his dost uncle following around and asking him to do things that are clearly wrong for neither his mumma nor Yash papa are happy with his behavior. Why is dost uncle saying that Yash papa does not consider him important – is it true? Why is friend uncle saying that mumma loved him – when mumma only loves Yash papa? And why is friend uncle not taking him to mumma – he is missing his mumma, Yash papa and PayPal – why is friend uncle not taking him home?
