I am talking about the gang-rape on 23-year-old medical student on Sunday, in a RUNNING BUS. It boils my blood to even think about the situation. Some people, they bloody dared to gang raped this girl in a bloody running bus and then threw her out of that bus in almost dying condition. And no one, no one was there to help her. Her friend was brutally assaulted for trying to help her. The driver of the bus, was no less than a criminal.
It not just irks me but it also has shaken me to the core. Yes, I was first shocked, then aggravated and then scared for the security of girls in our so called 'CULTURED' society.
Are we really in 21st century talking about equal right for women, about reservation in almost all the fields????

NEW DELHI: A medical student in her twenties, who was traveling with her male friend in a whiteline bus from Munirka to Uttam Nagar area in west Delhi, was allegedly gang-raped by a group of men inside the moving bus and thrown off the vehicle near Mahipalpur in south Delhi on late Sunday night.
The woman's friend is an engineering pass-out and works for a private firm.
The girl and the boy were reportedly returning after watching a movie at a theatre in Select City Walk mall in Saket area of south Delhi.
They took an auto till Munirka and then boarded the whiteline bus from the bus stop to go to Uttam Nagar area near Palam where they reside.
The girl was gang-raped by people including the staff of the bus even as the driver drove around the city and her friend was brutally assaulted.
The duo were then stripped and dumped from the moving bus near Mahipalpur flyover.
The girl and the boy raised an alarm and the cops arrived. They were taken to the AIIMS Trauma Center for medical help.
The girl was shifted to Safdarjung Hospital later. Her condition is stated to be critical. She has abrasions and head injuries apart from the sexual assault injuries.
The police have registered a case of gang rape under section 376 G at Vasant Vihar police station and are investigating the matter.
I know this topic may get closed but it really is so frustrating to even imagine what that girl is going through.
Here we are, dreaming all the while for a person so loving and caring like Yashji or to be more realistic like Gurmeet, and in the very same country we have criminals like Ram Singh and others who can shake all beliefs in love...
I dont know what sense I am making here, but as a woman, it pains me to imagine that girl's condition and it aggravates me to even think that the culprit may get away again...
I dont really know what punishment would be enough for this heinous crime...
