i just foudn this story today and read all the parts in one go.. absolutely great story.. eagerly waiting to see how you continue.. you write really well and it is really interesting..

Kat...Super narration. 👏One could sense the reason for Prashant drifting away. They are both strong-minded individuals wanting to lead one life in opposite directions. They have already bifurcated the common path on which they started this married journey...worst is they are not even leaving room for a compromise. They are just imposing their decisions on the other. That's a death knell of the loudest order. He can't fathom her womanly desire for a baby...she can't fathom his need to climb the professional ladder at the cost of remaining childless...so what results is Catch-22...and both not getting the other's support.

Fantastico, my friend!! This is just proceeding right...Stage is well set for the entry of the other woman.

Yes, Prashant is definitely over-reacting. He is taking ARti and her feelings for granted - but then, she did not fully consider his wishes either, did she?

Yash-Arpita - their story will unfold too. Right now, they don't fit into the storyline - but it will come eventually. For now the story is all about Arti.

Prashanth's dialogues just echoed the same sentiments here too.

I seriously do not blame him for getting angry at the same time i feel sorry for Aarti that she did not get the response she was looking for.

Can you believe in her effort to have a family she tried to give birth and create one of her own. Someone who was blood-related and could not be separated from her.

Deepti - really (about Ansh)? I would have thought the circumstances would have been happier in the show, but then i missed all the early parts - you may well be right.

@bold - exactly!! That is precisely the reason why she acted the way she did. It was also the reason why she forced Prashant to marry her - her desperate need to belong, for some one to be her very own is driving her behaviour. And when Prashant was unable to fill that need fully, she realized (albeit totally subconsciously) that having one's own child will help fill that need. After all, being an orphan she has suffered the lack of a parent's love herself.

Seriously, when i think about this character and the real orphans in the world, i am totally with my kids when they ask - why can't we bring them all home?? If only life were that easy...

Prashant reacted like many men (not all, but quite a few) - those who still have some growing up to do, those who are so focused on career that they can't think of family, or those who are cheating. We are all so used to a cheater-Prashant that we automatically club him in the 3rd category 😆.
