In a BMT actually some type of stem cells are removed from the donor[ansh] and then infused in to the recipient[prashanth].By giving general anesthesia these stem cells can easily harvested. Also this procedure is not much painful and this doesnot requires any stitches afterwards[so yash can't see it].And depending on the donors health and reaction to the procedure the actual harvesting can be an outpatient procedure or can require 1-2 days of recovery in the hospital[this is why prashanth recovered fast].Also another option is to give certain drugs that stimulate the release of stem cells from the BM in to circulating blood and then from the donors arm stem cells are filtered out of the blood just like donating blood. So I think this is what doctor's will prefer in Ansh's case.

i am about to post something like that...thank i would like to add little bit here...

we assume here prasanth preperation is done earlier and ansh as a donor does not need any preparation beside the HLA TYPING ( testing of the compatiable between donor and receipion). once the donor is compatiable and consented the procedure can be started an over within 2 hours.
