What I am interested in is, how the CVs are going to show the older generation reacting. There is a huge generational divide in our society when it comes to such matters. Will the CVs show the older Scindia's at first unable to accept such a thing because of the social stigma involved especially since they are a family who places a lot of importance on what the society thinks? Will they then come around and see that there is nothing wrong in Yash being counseled? If the CVs finally do show the inner struggle SP and Gayatri go through and finally their acceptance that counseling is the best thing they can do for Yash in this situation, then kudos to the CVs. But I bet there will be more blame game going on especially with closed mind people like Bua and Gayatri who desperately want to find a scapegoat for their son's illness because of course they cannot have anyone pointing fingers at their own lack of understanding of the depth of Yash's pain.

yes... same here.. i'm really looking forward to seeing the reactions of the older generation... i'm pretty sure gayatri is going to be all 'mera baccha pagal nahi hain'... and bua will be in her 'throw aarti out and yash will be alright' mode... but i'm sure sp will understand the seriousness of the situation... if not initially but certainly after a lot of thinking...

I think it's necessary for CVs to those this Aanya, because one very bad thing about Indian society today is that people who seek counseling are labelled as "crazy". That's just so rude and I hate such attitude. In real life had he lived in US, Yash would have had therapy by now because western society takes people's mental mindset very seriously. After suffering death in a family, people are advised to go for therapy by other family members and one's family doctor. Also, your work place also advises you to go for therapy, because death is not a small issue. It can make a person VERY depressed and if left alone for four years, they can become obsessed and fanatical about the dead person like Yash. In India though, not many go for therapy because they think it'll make them lose face in society, which is such a stupid attitude because receiving therapy doesn't make you any less of a person.

I don't know whether viewers are mature enough or not for this track, but it's certainly necessary and I'm glad CVs are showing it.

u know since the past couple of days i was wondering would yash's situation be different if he had any outside contact? if he was not working in a family business but in another organization with other people... i'm sure his friends and colleagues from work would have noticed his behavior and tried to help him out by giving the option of therapy... things might not have gone so out of hand...

I feel that most of us agree that what he is doing with aarti is definitely not fair. But, after the last episode, it is also because he is not in the right state of mind. Its for his own good that the family gets him the needed help. And if someone thinks that consulting a psychiatrist is something negative, then think again. Just because someone sees a counselor/psychiatrist doesn't declare them as a pagal. A lot of people have some mental blocks at some stage of our life and we all may have different ways of reacting or dealing with it. Yash may just be depressed for the last 2 years and it'll be good for him to get some help to sort out his issues. And by the way, just because someone is depressed and wants to be aloof doesn't make them pagal or is a social stigma.

This is 2012 and not the 1950s. So, I would rather have the elders of this family deal with the situation in a sensible manner and not end up blaming Aarti and Yash.

Oh yeah, I do feel that the evil bua (so called excuse for a human being) would blame Aarti and probably even label yash as pagal. Drive me nuts.

I'm impressed with the turn of events in last 2 episodes and thankful to CVs for writing character of Yash so differently and beautifully and giving Gurmeet the oppurtunity to portray it, something which even I have not seen before on television, atleast not any male character, who is first shown as perfect and slowly the imperfections coming out, which is so realistic & close to real life

that wa s well said ha the indian audience only understang filmy stuff and saas bahu rona dhona and they call themselves educated this is one of realities and yes the cvs have to continuue with this track becoz this a realty we do have such sensitive cases at least we are matured so we will wathsh it thats it yeah
