Oh My God! What an episode! I don't know where to begin in my analysis of it ... there are so many things that happened worthy of building a whole theme with!
Okay, let me settle on the theme that best covers almost everything that happened ... and that theme is :
"God Wants Them To Be Together!"
No matter what the evil intentions of the Scindias, and no matter what Pratik, Paridi, Vidhi and Pankaj may plan as their strategy going forward, a much larger hand is already at play here ... the Hand of God!
Here's my analysis of the ten different ways the Hand of God (or Fate) has pulled off some masterstrokes today in the reunification of Yash and Aarti ...
1. The saree grabs the rear-view mirror ...
I know its a cliched scene but I was never more happy than to see it happen today. The way the saree pallu got trapped in the rear-view mirror makes me want to venture on symbolism. (Jyoti, forgive me for this try!). The pallu of a saree is always behind a woman. The car's rear view mirror is a vision again of what's behind. The pallu entangling with and covering the mirror seems to suggest that God wants both of them to shut off the past and begin all over again. It takes two hands (both of theirs) to untangle the pallu ... so the moral of the story is that it is going to take the effort of both together to push off the past! (Jyoti, how did I do?)
2. The children all go to the same school
I already said this somewhere yesterday, in one of my posts, but the day Yash suddenly decided to change Ansh's school, what a big debate we all had whether he should have done that or not? Well here is God's answer! Thank God Yash changed Ansh's school even if they all had no clue that this is exactly what will give Yash and Aarti a chance to meet and reconcile once again! Never mind the tu-tu-mein-mein of PayPal and Ansh, the parents seem be exchanging wavelengths and eyelocks across the school entrance!
(While on this subject, let me say this about PayPal in passing ... they have not shown any remorse and their grandmother's disgusting jealousy traits need to be spanked out them!)
3. The parents decide to drop the kids
What are the odds that Yash himself would decide to drop PayPal at school? In that house there are ever so many drivers and family members usually taking turns. But its the Hand of God that has made Yash come to the school himself. Aarti as always does the school dropping on her own. God seems to have decided that the best place for them to meet again would be the school where they can "relearn" why they are so attracted to each other, even if they don't yet admit it! The ring of the school bell was also pretty symbolic! Time to start over ...
4. Aarti's phone unreachable
Oh God, the two witches (you can substitute "b" instead of "w" there!) Bua and Gayatri actually are so fearful that Aarti may not sign the divorce papers, they have actually left their shame behind to go to the Dubey's house to beg for it? The Bua seems to be the "mouth of Gayatri" today. She is vomiting enough for the both of them. But is it great good fortune or what, that the despo Gayatri, standing precariously on the proverbial doorstep, could not reach Aarti's mobile number? How will God allow Gayatri to get through when his favourite two people are "engaged in hot pursuit" even if it is only after a robber?
5. Yash's car develops a fault
Good heavens! God has even created a timely "car malfunction" for Yash and Gayatri to get more time with each other today? Looks like God is a good mechanic! He knows exactly what to do to make the car stall and he knows eaxctly how to do that just when Aarti is within watching distance! I almost expected that Aarti would have a jerry-can of petrol and offer it to Yash, but God had other plans ...
6. The robber ...plays Cupid
Only in God's world can a wayside robber play Cupid! How utterly fortuitous that the robber chose Yash's car to do a purloining trick, and how fortuitous that the robber was also a poor marathon runner! Aarti was not only able to outstrip his speed, she was also able to give him a few priceless left hooks and all the while Yash was enjoying the performance of "Jhansi Ki Rani". How lucky (yes lucky) that Yash had a wound ... so that Aarti could say to him "You leave the robber to me, I'll finish him up" ... nothing happens without a reason. Even Yash's gunshot wound had a role to play today!
7. The hockey captain performs
How providential was it that Aarti had been a hockey captain at school and had the fastest legs in the team? She just jacked up her saree and ran hell for leather after the robber at a speed that Usain Bolt may have envied! And as for Yash, he was always coming second, which just symbolises again that she will always be a fearless front-runner in their relationship, while he will always be the strong backup whenever she needs him!
8. Same old unholy joint?
Wow, did God lead them to the very same "seedy joint" where they first became a "couple bound together"? Geez, talk about divine coincidences! What sheer luck both of them have to be yet again rounded up in a police raid! Last time round they had to prove to the cops that they were "engaged". This time round they had to try and prove to the cops that they were "married". But God saw to it that the cops remained skeptical both times. God wanted them to be misunderstood ... so that they can find time to clear their mutual misunderstandings!
9. Same old handcuffs?
What bets, folks, that they may be wearing the very same pair of handcuffs they were latched into last time? I would not be surprised by such miracles! In fact I am seeing nothing but miracles everywhere today. Last time round, Aarti who had been severely brainwashed by Mansi was eyeing Yash suspiciously as she was "bound to him". This time round, the thoughts in Aarti's head are circling differently ... she has started wondering if Fate is giving her an "ishara" that they are meant to be together! God speaks in mysterious ways and handcuffs are one of them!
10. Same old police van?
Good Lord, don't tell me its the same police van too that they travelled in a few months earlier? The song sounds like the same one we heard before, the shoulder-rubbing seems familiar and the "falling on each other" has a sense of deja vu about it! Last time however, Yash had to call his Dad, I think, to get the cops to release him from the police station? I don't think that is what he may do this time, because I trust in God and Fate and I know for sure that God will not want Yash to involve the Senior Scindia now. This is too precious an opportunity created to bring Yash and Aarti together, so God will somehow see to it that Senior Scindia won't be available or goes deaf even if Yash has a mind to call him!
All in all, folks, I like all this fortuitousness! In fact I would like it even more if by a stroke of fortune the Scindia Father can get over-massaged at Chandni Bar till he is bent in half by wracking body pain. And it will be even more lucky if Gayatri and Bua decide they can wait no longer at the Dubeys and as they walk out they slip on two timely banana peels. All's well, that ends well!
