Yash should adopt Ansh legally

After the kidnapping track, Yash should call the lawyers home and tell the family that he's adopting Ansh - in much the same manner that he changed Ansh's school. If Gayatri protests (Like Arti did about change of school) PA Scindia should tell her to shut up since all decisions in the family are taken by men and women should not speak up and anyway this situation came up because of her wayward tongue.

Legal adoption of Ansh would also bring Arti and Yash closer as well as shut up everyone who talked about Ansh being a stepson and all.

True. I guess this issue will come out sooner or later. I think Yash will think abt it when he will feel completely attached to him. Now he is more like fullfilling his duties and promises.

I think that Yash's feelings for Arti and Ansh go much beyond the mere fulfillment of obligations and promises. I think that the strict discipline in the Scindia family has made Yash to keep his feelings bottled up. Arpita was the only person with whom he could be himself and her death has further stunted his ability to express. He likes the bond between Arti and Ansh and enjoys Ansh's pranks, but he's unable to express it.

Yes Yash feels for Ansh and cares for him, his nature is like this only:caring,respecting and loving others. Plus he has made promise to himself that Ansh is his responsibility. A day will come when he will declare Ansh his own son wholeheartedly.
Btw he is married to Aarti now and Aarti has divorced with Prashant so legally shudnt be Yash Ansh's father??

No, since he's Arti's husband he's only Ansh's Legal Guardian.

In case Arti and Yash separate then Yash would have no claim on Ansh, nor would Ansh be a part of the Scindia family or have any claims on the family property etc.

However if Yash adopts him legally, then Yash can continue to be involved in Ansh's life.

In case something happens to Arti, then Ansh would be with Yash, instead of being an orphan.

Prashant would have no claims on Ansh (right now he can come anytime and take away Ansh from Arti).

Also Ansh would be a legal heir to Yash and therefore a part of Scindia family property etc.

I think that should not be done without family consent. And it is too soon for that. We till need to see how Arti succeeds in bonding with girls also her in laws. End of the day which ever way you think you have to adjust with family and time heals grievances or people learn to outgrow.

I will not suggest adopting Ansh till yash know s entire truth. Giving a child your name is fine emotionaly but has legal and material implications. that lot of families hesitate to get into.

But Yash knows the entire truth - Arti told him about being a divorcee and not a widow before marriage. It was Yash's decision to go ahead with the marriage even after that.

In my opinion Arti's bonding with the girls and Yash's bonding with Ansh are two different subjects. We cannot have a tit for tat in parenting.

Again where Arti's bonding with her in-laws is concerned - the natures of Gayatri and Bua are such that even Vidhi is facing problems with them. So we cannot set that as a benchmark, and Yash has always maintained an independence in his relationship with Arti irrespective of the family opinion.

He might've agreed to marry Arti under family pressure, but he's always made it clear that all decisions regarding Arti and his marital life will be his own.

And yes there are a lot of material and legal considerations which is why I think that adoption would set to rest all those questions which would keep raising their head. But then this is a serial and we cannot have a neat and clean solution that would close doors to all future drama :)
