Is it necessary to choose only one option...😉.????

Well after seeing him as Ram I know he will rock in every Mytho Role !!!!!!!! He has the Grace and Dignity to live the mytho characters with a DIvine look on his face which makes him absolutely Perfect !!!

Ummm after admiring him SOoo much as Ram I would again love to see him as Ram in some movie or sumthing again !!! I know it is being selfish😳 but i cant stop myself choosing this option 😆 !!!

After Ram I would surely love to c his as Krishna !!! i m 100% sure that he will do justice to the character of Krishna as well I had seen some SBS segmant in which Gurmeet and Debina acted as Krishna and radha, they looked awesome in that !! And I think the actual Gurmeet is also as notorious as Krishna 😆 !! So it will be quite easy for him 😆 !!!

Well Well I also want him to see as Shiva 😳😆!!!!! After watching his Tandav in the Awards I m sure he will be awesome as SHiva !!!

And as Far as the Negative characters are concerned like Raavan Indrajeet Duryodhana etc, I never want to c him in these roles !!! I dont want to hate him in any case, weather onscreen or Offscreen !! Well it is my own Opinion😳 !!!

Janaki DI ... Awesome Poll !!! Thanks for opening it 😃 !!!

Oh yes, I know he'd make the perfect Lord Shiva.😍 After seeing his tandav in the Gr8 women achievers awards, I am craving to see him as Bholenath.
Yeah, it'd be nice to see him as Ramji again, but I want to see him more as Shri Krishna since we already have Ramayan.😆

oh,I didnt know about that movie. But there was no serial about Buddha right???
My only source of knowledge regarding Buddha's whole life is Buddha Charita.

if he had to do another mythological role then i will pick shree krishna😳 i have seen him as the mature, soft spoken and calm shree ram, but now i would love to see the man with a flute in his hand and making all the GOPI go crazy and specially create magic with SHREE RADHA!😳

He is not against Krishna either (because well, Krishna is not really against any person but adharma, which is why he so badly wants Karna to switch sides) so you can rest your worries there. But despite Krishna telling him that the Pandavas will win because they have dharma, he sticks by the one person who showed him kindness when it mattered most, Duryodhana. I think the only bad thing he does through the whole story is to kill Abhimanyu, but there also he was at war and it was his duty to do so. He is a good and righteous man, stuck on the wrong side of the war because of loyalty and love. What could be more tragic than that?

And Bhishma was not always old, you know. Young Bhishma did some pretty fun things in his time, kidnapping princesses and such. 😉

👏..Karna is my favourite mytho character too! I don't think there is a more tragic character in Mythology than Karna. and Gurmeet as Karna would be a dream coming true.

Janu...Krishna in fact had reprimanded Arjuna when Arjuna was saying bad things about Karna...Its true that Krishna said true Dharma to a friend was not just sticking to him, but , in Mahabharata, starting from Bhishma, to Karna, everyone knew that Duryodhana was wrong, but their Dharma was protecting the King, for Krna , protecting the friend...it was differences in point of view...In fact how would u explain Karna's death? was it Dharma? Killing an unarmed man? No...but we don't blame Arjuna , becoz he was fighting for the truth...Karna's Dharma was to be loyal to the one person who gave him respect and called him friend-Duryodhana...and even Lord Krishna respected him for that. True, Karna was suppoting the wrong, and thats why he had to die.he had to lose...but he did it selflessly, and so he remains the Anti-Hero in Mahabharata.Daata Karna.the most tragic character of Mahabharata.

By the way, lovely poll...I voted for Lord Krishna...😛

I know Krishna respected Karna for his loyalty, but I think he'd have respected him more had he taken Vibhishan's path.😳 Vibhishan and Karna are like the opposites of when loyalty to country, family, and friend should be broken in favor of loyalty to God and righteousness. I think Karna more than repaid Duryodhana for what he did for him in childhood, but to tell Duryodhana that what he was doing was wrong would not have been disloyal. In fact, it would have been more loyal than supporting him throughout his bad deeds, because that's what a true friend does. If even that did not work, Karna should have broken away from duryodhan and refused to support him. He could have remained neutral and not taken part in the war at all, like Rukmi, but while supporting his friend in a bad act, he even went against his own brothers who were fighting for good.
I like Karna, but he was never a favorite character of mine, because I did not think he was as great a friend to Duryodhan as many think. Bhishma once said that Duryodhan became bad, because the company he kept never criticized him. They praised him and supported him even when he went astray, and that's what is called a bad crowd. Despite the good deeds he did do, Karna made the mistake of being a part of Duryodhan's bad crowd, because even while knowing that the Pandavas were going to win, he never tried to warn Duryodhan or convince him against the war for his own wellbeing.
It is sad that Karna had to die, but like you said, it was inevitable because of the bad deeds he committed. Even the sinners from the Pandavas' side died, like Drupada (who I never liked because of what he did to Dronacharya), Dhrishtadyumna (who's sinful killing of Dronacharya always makes me shudder), and others.

Love this poll, Janaki dear! I have always wished Gurmeet would take on role of Lord Krishna! I too agree with others here that Nitesh Bharadwaj was AWESOME Sri Krisna I absolutely loved him in that role. But aaj ki mythos many new actors are breathing fresh air into our beloved stories - I think Gurmeet looks just right and has just right sweet but bit natkhat personality!

He himself though i bet he would like to take on role of Meghnad because i think he does have soft spot for the dashing negative roles!😊

Thanks for this great idea!
