This show seems to outdo itself every episode with the pleasant shocks and the huge grins that I end up having every day. It is the perfect thing to wind down with, especially episodes like today that just make your heart feel so light and full of happiness and goodness! 😃

YASH PROTECTED AARTI! She was all ready to confess from the bottom of her heart. He saw that, saw that it wasn't the practical route and stopped her, making the explanation to his mother himself. Chances are he wanted to spare himself the drama, but still! 😳😍

I just loved the silent war between Yash and his dad, with SP stressing Arpita, Arpita, Arpita and Yash sort of stressing Aartiji. There was a silent revolt happening there because for some reason, Yash is unable to defy his father directly but he is certainly not happy with the way things are going and finds ways to express that. I thought it was interesting how he declared that he would drive himself rather than taking his dad's driver, and SP who had been so insistent and commanding on the doctor thing and Aarti going with him, is all of a sudden totally fine with Yash's decision, which is not much more sensible. What gives?

SP's character is just so interesting because at face value, his words seem so sensible. Gayatri, Yash has a wife, let her take care of him. That seems to be like a perfectly healthy way to detach an over-affectionate mother and give the couple some space. But then the whole insistence on Arpita comes into the picture and the depth of his character is sensed but not revealed by far. What is his inherent contradiction?

The scene with the three couples were really interesting. I liked how in tandem with our discussion over the weekend, AarYa are silent observers here, but also very perceptive and keen ones. The tension is not lost on them, on either side. Poor Paridhi hasn't even been out to the garden! 😆 It is clear that Pankaj is getting more frustrated because he is airing his dirty laundry, not exactly in public, but now outside the confines of his and Vidhi's relationship. But today it felt like an argument of equals. Pankaj was caustic but Vidhi had a logical retort to his biting statements. She could lecture these two couples because they were newly married, she and Pankaj are not. Of course it is debatable whether her POV is right (which I don't think it is) but I was glad to see she had a valid viewpoint and expressed it lucidly instead of crying or feeling tortured.

AARTI DROVE THE CAR! This was undoubtedly the highlight of today's episode for me. Along with Pari's job track, this screamed of progressive thinking and nari shakti! First of all how wonderful is it to have a TV heroine who knows how to drive before the hero teaches her? She is not really "modern" in the stereotypical sense, but she is modern in the true sense of the word! I loved that Yash, who had refused his dad's driver, sort of indirectly confessed his weakness to Aarti and trusted her to take the reigns. Remember people, this is OCD, I-need-control-over-everything Yash we are talking about. He gave her control and trusted her to manage it. And how utterly ADORABLE was Aarti in her nervousness, with her steadfast expression when she was driving? This is going to be a classic scene for the ages! 👏

I loved that she didn't drive the way he wanted her to, or the way she would have driven but the point is that she listened to him when he told her to change the way she was doing things and she did the job when he couldn't and got him to the place of healing. I also adored Aarti's under-breath mumblings. Aarti was utterly adorable here and I am definitely going to be watching that scene many, many times! 😃

And the hospital was hilarious with the funniest doctor I have ever seen on television! AEROBICS?! 🤣🤣🤣 He killed me with his all-knowing remarks that made Yash and Aarti so awkward. And did he really call Yash a "macho man"? 🤣🤣 I love how this show is not afraid to poke fun at the hero's so-called perfection. And I don't know if Aarti used reverse psychology on purpose, but it sure did work on Yash as he had to prove his worth and save his pride. Angel, I thought of you when she said he was like Ansh. I know your point was a little different that they would see the other in the other's children but here Aarti sees in Yash, the one person she loves most in the world and that is definitely a good sign. I loved KS's subtle change in expression from when she was thinking Yash was like Ansh to a moment later when you could see her relaxed, smiling face sort of stiffen and straighten up. Beautiful, that was!

I will finish discussing AarYa and then go to Pradhi last so the last scene now. How cute were these two again? I love how Yash was acting like an insolent child and Aarti did nothing but play along. She brought him Oreos! I don't know why but that makes me really happy. 😆 I love how she just "handled" him and he so knew it but there was nothing he could do about it because he is sick and so vulnerable. Ha! Aarti 1, Yash 0.5 (cookies 😆).

I keep saying loved it, but other words don't seem to suffice so bear with my limited vocabulary today. I LOVED Paridhi today. If you see it from her perspective, she is really going out of her way to make things work from her side. Today I was looking at them and I realised, Prateek is in the same clothes he wore before marriage but Pari has had to change from her functional, light, youthful clothes to these heavy sarees. I understand now why she is doing maska only. It is not because she is a deceitful person, but because she doesn't see herself fulfilling this role for much longer. This is only a stop-gap before she goes back to work so she is making a good impression any way she can. Smart. Also with the samosa thing, I love how at first she sort of felt inadequate and indulged in just a moment of self pity before she realised that so what if she wasn't a good housewife? She was an excellent RJ, and she put that to good use. Smart!

I also like that she gave Prateek and ultimatum because I agree that this is getting ridiculous. I know I would have felt deeply wrong doing all the things that are expected of Pari, from the pallu to the cooking to the eh ji, oh ji. I am not saying those things are bad, necessarily, just that she has had to go out of her way to make this work and Prateek has done nothing so far. I like that she said she is going to work either way. She is doing this act of obedience to please Prateek and his family, not for her investment so she can stop any time and she will.

Precap: I hope Gaya and SP being there is another weird manipulation. Their presence would not be welcome in this context.

Loved the Episode today and for me the best part of the Episode was Aarti's self-confession that Yash is like Ansh ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️..that was the real episode for me 😳😳

The Tale of 3 Bahus ...Vidhi-Aarti-Paridi
I m loving how creatives r showing the contrast between all 3 bahus in such a beautiful manner 👏👏👏...Vidhi is good with giving advice to others but she is equally bad in following the same advice for herself which her husband rightly points out to her today when she was lecturing Paridi and Pratik about giving time to each other 😆 ;Paridi is good with manipulations and so far she has succeeded in winning Sasuma's heart with such smart manipulations like the Samosa fiasco today 😉😆 but in future she will hv issues with the overall lifestyle of Scindia mansion as she is not used to stay in such a orthodox family whose trailor we saw today itself when Paridi warned Pratik regarding her job issue or else dont touch her...poor Pratik's chocolate cake gone 😆 ... Aarti out of both is the most balanced and matured character who knows how to balance her duties as a bahu ,wife as well as a mother and so far she has been doing it quite well even though Gayatri has issues but she still managed it all quite well from handling Ansh-PayPal to even Yash's driving and his health now ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️...In future I feel Aarti will sort out all the marital life problems of Vidhi and Paridi too with her own life eperiences 😳
The Tale of 3 Brothers ... Pankaj-Yash-Pratik
Once again I m loving the way CVs hv shown the contrast between brothers as well 👏👏👏...Pankaj is suffering from mid-life-crisis because of his forever busy wife who feels once kids r grown up ,love life is over 😆...Yash is suffering from OCD after Arpita's death since lacks a good companion in his life but he is slowly getting his life back in the form of Aarti's companion 😳😳 ;Pratik is suffering from the side-effects of Joru-ki-Ghulami now with his wife almost blackmailing him for the Job issues now 😆...In future I feel Yash might b the one to solve the issues of his brothers ,reason why that bedroom scene was shown where Yash witnessed how Pankaj was rude towards Vidhi and how Pratik-Paridi r not getting enough space in this crowd 😉...Since Yash himself will go through a transformation courtesy Aarti ,he might wipe off some of his transformed traits on his other two brothers too 😛
The Car Driving Symbolism ..Yash gives the gear of his life in Aarti's hand ..Isn't this what u call Trust ?? 😳
The car driving scene was extremely cute and funny the way Yash was directing Aarti to go slow initially and later asking her to go a bit fast so that at least cycles dont take over 😆😆😳 ;Its a very symbolic scene with Yash putting the trust on Aarti by asking her to drive the car first and then giving her the direction which indicates he almost puts the gear of his life in Aarti's hand and now its upto Aarti ,how she will drive the car of their life---in fast or slow motion or mixed way with few jerks in between like we saw in the car driving scene 😉😛 ;In short Aarti will b the driver of their life's journey while Yash will b the one to direct her in this journey but the speed control will b in Aarti's hand as Yash himself has given that position to her in his life 😳😳😳
Yash is like Ansh ..A kid at heart ...Aarti will nurture him 😳😳😳
Best scene of today for me was Aarti's self-confession that Yash is like Ansh only 😳 ;For the first time she compared Ansh with Yash without thinking once about Ansh's biological father ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️...Aarti could finally feel some connection with Yash because of his certain habits which resemble Ansh like the injection one 😳..
The injection scene proves that Yash is still a kid at heart and he needs some nice little pampering from his loved ones to get his things done which he might hv been missing for yrs since in Scindia house all r 24/7 running after rules and regulations 😆 ...He is missing this homely treatment which he got from Aarti today in the last scene when she gives the juice ,biscuit and tablets to Yash and also checks his temperature 😳😳 ...Even though Yash kept a angry face but the fact that he silently took the juice ,biscuit and medicines from Aarti indicates that he did appreciate the way she showed her homely concern for him 😳😳😳...
Yash needs a Companion who can give him love and homely atmosphere 😳😳

The way Yash was acting like a kid today ,I feel he needs love and a companion ...his loneliness has made him a OCD today ...he needs attention ,love and care from his better-half 😳...He was put into lots of responsibility at a young age ,... If I m not wrong we did discuss about how he got married right after his graduation and then I feel PayPal too were born early ... He is just 30 na ... So at a young age ,he has to look after his own self as well as both his kids alone ..too much for him ... no wonder he has become a OCD ...

Normal love ,care and homeliness from Aarti will make him more lively and fun-loving types again 😳...the best part was Aarti's self-confession that Yash is just like Ansh ...This statement is big as for the first time Aarti compared Ansh with Yash and not his biological father Prashant 👍🏼
Yash and Ansh will finally bond once both realise each other's issues properly 😳
About Ansh ,I liked how in the precap he confesses his mistake himself after realising what he did was wrong ... also liked how Aarti made Ansh say sorry in front of all 👏...I feel this is where Yash and Ansh might bond ...both will realise each other's issues here ...Ansh realised that its not cool to put his father in so much pain when his father gifted him a toy gun for his happiness and Yash will realise that its not cool to put so many rules and regulations around Ansh or kids in general which take away their innocence from them 😳

Overall a very fell-good Episode with wonderful acting from the whole cast ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Today's episode continued further on the theme of a family displaying all the different dynamics working between them. The storyline today was itself not so different from what was expected, but I am now seeing some macro-trends in this serial that are making it vastly different from the serials I have seen so far.
At first I thought, from the way the saas was behaving, and the way the bahus were dressed (with pallus covering their heads and wearing heavy jewellery even at home) that this serial will mostly follow the typical soaps, and the only departure is that Yash has had a "punar vivah" and this serial will be exploring that concept from the typical saas-bahu family angle.
I was mistaken. This serial is now making so many small departures from the typical soaps that I am feeling compelled to highlight and share my discoveries:
1. The typical roles of a man and a woman are being triumphantly reversed
We already saw how at night Yash could not sleep because Aarti was snoring! Today to carry the role reversal further, Yash asks Aarti to drive him to the hospital.
I can't remember when I last saw a serial where the man yields to the woman and let's her drive the car ... in fact it is so typical of the macho Indian male image that the male actor is always seen driving the car while the female actor is at best driving a scooty ... the Mittals are clearly making a series of departures from the typical roles and actions that the men and women perform in the serial.
It isn't just about Yash and Aarti either. Pratik cooks like a dream and Paridi knows nothing of cooking!
Even though Papa Scindia and Gayatri talk of bahus needing to be at home, the serial's producers are every now and again breaking the stereotype via the three boys and the way they deal with their wives ...
2. The story is moving multiple tracks forward even as it highlights Yash and Aarti's story
Again I am surprised that almost every episode is taking forward all the four stories ... of Yash and Aarti, of Vidhi and Pankaj, of Pratik and Paridi and of Gayari and Papa Scindia ... with almost equal emphasis.
Even though the serial is principally about Yash and Aarti, the way the four stories are being taken forward on four parallelly progressing tracks suggests that the creatives are continuously updating the background context in which Aarti and Yash's story can evolve.
For example, look at the small fights between four husband's and wives that was all enacted at Yash's bedside. On one level Papa Scindia and Gayatri found themselves bickering about whether Gayatri or Aarti should take Yash to hospital. Paridi launched her anger against Pratik for not taking her out, while Pankaj lost no time in telling Vidhi she was the last person who should advise married couples on spending time with each other.
The beauty was how Aarti and Yash said nothing and mutely spectated ... but their story was taken forward through these other parallel tracks running in that bedroom. It was as if Yash and Aarti were being counselled on the need for couples to spend time with each other, and while both of them just listened, it was as if the context for understanding this concept was being created for them via the tracks of their brothers and parents lives ... the brothers and parents acted out their tracks but the underlying message was for the Yash-Aarti marriage track ...
3. No characters are completely black or white, everybody has a grey but valid point of view
It is again to the credit of the producers and creatives that in this serial not even the main characters are completely white and neither are the negative characters completely black. Everybody is different shade of grey.
At times it seems as if Gayatri, the saas, and Papa Scindia the sasurji, are rude and of the typical in-laws stereotype. But very soon in the story we are also shown why they are compelled to behave the way they do, and we realise that they too have a point of view that is valid, and cannot be discounted.
Gayatri for example has a lot of rudeness for Aarti and seems like a dominating woman, but in the hands of a cunning Paridi we see her other side - she easily falls for flattery! She has weaknesses, poor lady, that procure her the pardon of the viewers.
Papa Scndia seems to be a sharp-minded cunning man, but as the story unfolds, no doubt we will see what the Arpita mystery is all about and why he is behaving the way he does. Already, if you notice, we are given to question his motives and we are led to try and find explanations of his behaviour ... and that is so untypical of a soap. In most soaps we would just accept that in-laws do behave like this, whereas in this serial we are asking "What can be his reasons? What is the mystery here?"
4. The principal characters are delightfully flawed to the point of utter realism
Not just the supporting characters are shades of grey, but the principal protagonists in this serial are all delightfully flawed characters. Yash has OCD, is afraid of injections, cannot find the words to even break the ice with kids and cannot quarrel with his parents when they insist on calling Aarti as Arpita ...
Aarti is quick to give her piece of mind even where it is not quite welcome, doesn't hesitate to throw caution to the winds when riding off on the scooty to drop Ansh at school, is bearing grudges against the Dubeys and is carrying a promise to a child to wear heels a step too far.
Moreover, in most soaps where a romance is to be built up, we would see cliches ... the roses, the love letters, the nok jhok, the stolen eyelocks etc. Here the story is using the small and most mundane details of humdrum life to build the romance.
She is handing him a tablet as their hands touch. He is sitting on a pin and from that a romantic interlude begins. She is under the table collecting pencils when he glimpses her. He is doing his potty when she and Ansh intrude. They even met near the toilet of a train. How delightfully commonplace can it get, and how beautifully love can grow in the strangest and most non-romantic situations.
I think we all have hit the jackpot with this serial. It seems to be truly one of radical departure in many little ways from the cliches and stereotypes of saas-bahu soaps we have all grown used to.
After every episode, there is usually nothing very dramatic that we can remark on, and for example, today's episode was just a simple one taking the story forward a little bit at a time, But notice how we all see the commonplace every day and then we all write in our posts "The Mittals are surprising us with every episode!"
That is the beauty of this serial. They are allowing us to see romance in the least glamorous moments of ordinary lives, and this is not just the romance between the hero and heroine but the larger and more beautiful romance of family life!

Sammy you genius .. love the title 😆
_________________________________
Wow what an episode! Completely loved it from beginning to end and loved the contrast they're showing in all 3 couples: AarYa / PraDhi / PaVi
Right away we see that everyone comes in a hurry to check Yash's health .. and SP shows his reign over the house when he orders Aarti to take Yash with her to the doctor instead of letting Gaya3 do it - I love that he (though authoritative) is stressing to Gaya3 that Yash is now married and has a wife to take care of his needs. This way AarYa are getting time with each other and getting to know themselves better =)
And then PraDhi have a little banter session and we find out Pratik really hasn't entertained Pari in any way -- not even taking her to the garden outside their home! 😆 Poor Paridhi! I can understand just how 'jailed' she's feeling because her life pre-marriage was free and she was able to come and go to her home without anyone questioning or ruling over her. This made Vidhi take Pratik's class and give him advice she clearly isn't following herself (at the moment). Pankaj raises this point and we see just how differing their views are. I agree with both of them in their side of the argument. They're missing a balance in their lives. Neither should life just be about work, work, work where you forget that you need to give time to your family and relax and nor should life be about play and fun all the time. So, this is their main problem and they need to figure it out.
With PraDhi they are still in their honeymoon phase and will later confront many problems starting with themselves. They need to understand each other and their family background better. To say their families are poles apart in tradition would be an understatement and they need to understand this too. Pratik cannot just go and enforce the fact that Paridhi wants to work nor can Paridhi always have her way. That aside I am totally and completely with Pari with her wanting to work. It is the 21st century and it's no joke that women should be allowed to work post-marriage. I don't know why marriage is looked at as an institution where only the woman has to adapt to a different lifestyle. Just because she comes to live with her in-laws doesn't mean she needs to get an identity change. She should be allowed to express herself -- here is where Pari is lacking. She needs to confront the Scindia's albeit rationally, and stress that she loves her work and would love to continue it. Her being an RJ is not going to be shame upon the family. 😊
Coming to AarYa: Wow. CUTENESS central they were today! I love love LOVED Aarti driving. I just love women driving in Indian serials in general because it just reinforces the fact that society is changing and should be more accepting of women branching out and doing all that is considered "taboo" in such orthodox families. From the AarYa POV it shows us just how much he has softened up towards Aarti in terms of allowing her to take over responsibilities and especially accepting that he cannot do it himself. Aarti driving was so cute. The way she was giving a break every 2 seconds while leaving the driveway 😆 too funny. And then Yash's "dheere chalahiye .. aur tez chalahiye" but his expressions every time his behind got hurt .. priceless .. 🤣
AarYa at the doctor .. another funny as ever scene .. that doctor with his "aerobics" comment 😲 LMAO!! Was not expecting that! But AarYa's expressions said it all .. awkwarddd .. 😆 And then Yash fearing the needle .. but Aarti's "dar lag raha hai" comment sort of hurt his pride and he wanted to prove to her that he really is the "macho man" the doctor said he is 😆 .. and his glances towards Aarti as if to say "look .. I'm getting a needle .. ain't I the bravest thing you've ever seen" 😛 lol .. But I truly cracked up with Yash's scream at getting the needle .. Aarti .. how did you control? 😆 (I know Kratika couldn't thanx to the segment 😆)
And then Aarti's dialogue that Yash is just like Ansh made my day! That was so sweet! She associated Yash with the one person she loves the most -- Ansh. And that's a big thing! She is already finding similarities between them which is a great thing.. it'll help her get closer to Yash and also discover the kid hiding inside that tough exterior 😳 ...
AarYa bedroom scene .. takes the cake .. LOVED Yash showing nakhre and acting like a bachcha not wanting to eat or take medicine .. and I adore Aarti for not caring and just enforcing that he needed to take his medicine and get better! 👏 I could hug her for that .. and also for bringing OREO cookies for him 😃 I love Oreos! 😛
Special mention to the music in this scene .. the singing section when their hands touched .. *DEAD* 🤢 It gave me goosebumps to say the least!
Precap: LOVE Ansh for owning up to his folly and realizing this himself than have anyone else tell him to. And Aarti for reprimanding him right away and his apology to Yash. They are slowly but surely breaking barriers between them and now Yash will be able to understand Ansh's predicament a little better. Karate time with Daddy coming up ? 😳

Hi Everyone!

Very cute episode! For starters I loved the Paridhi has Prateek wrapped around her finger. He does what she commands when she commands it. But I honestly I do foresee some trouble arising in their marriage once the honeymoon stage is over. For an example, when Prateek made an analogy the chocolate cake is in front of me and I cant even touch it I have to do something fast. It makes me wonder is there something more to there relationship beyond that. Will they in future turn into another Pankaj and Vidhi?

Coming to Pankaj and Vidhi the way they were fighting today is kind of immature. I mean there not kids they should know not put out there dirty laundry in front of others. Aarya keep there troubles hidden from others as minor as they might be like adjustment issues or a hair pin pinching Yash. I was wondering why he did that too. Was it because it was too embarrassing for Yash to admit in front of everyone? Or did he want to spare Aarti from his mother's wrath? Don't know but it was sweet either way. But everyone else is like an open book in front of them. It's funny because their couple who should be going through the most troubles at this point just considering how awkward and difficult this marriage his for the both of them. Everyone should actually be coming to their rescue. But know both of them are actually doing a fairly decent job tackling all their struggles and problems as they arise one after the other. And it seems like they will also be helping the other couples do the same.

It was very nice to see Yash let Aarti drive today. I wonder if that has ever happened between any of the other couples. It just shows trust and understanding that has already been formed between the two without much effort on either side. Why is Yash so conscious of what Aarti thinks of him? Is it because he doesn't want to look like a scaredy cat in front of anyone because of his OCD perfection obsession? Or is it Aarti's specific perspective that matters to him? But why?

So Yash responds to care, concern and love. With all the insensitive practical people in his family he must have come to value those qualities. No wonder he is so emotional deep down and emotionless up front. Just like at the doctor's office he is a brave strong man around the world but a timid scared kid inside. He gets attached to any form of love he gets. It was clear he didn't get much of it from his parents in childhood being a middle child sent off to boarding school. So when he received some from Arpita he had so much difficulty letting it go. He didn't have any control over the situation which he hates. Once he finds love in Aarti he will make sure no one can take it away from him. Whether it be Prashant, the society, or even his family nothing will be able to deprive him from the love he has always longed for!!!

Hey all..

Wow that's a Hilarious and enjoyable episode……..👏👏

I feel its been like a silent war between papa sindiya calling Aarti as 'Arpita' and stressing it each time specially when talking to Yash and Yash also not less, by calling her 'Aarti' in front of everyone..

The car driving and hospital scene is awesome and feel sorry for Yashu (great acting by GC and KS 👏)

He is scared of injection and she saying he is just like Ansh, (well I'm scared of even the mention of hospital name, when my Mom asks me to come to hospital if I have fever, I would say "No mama I'm alright no need to go to hospital and she'll scold me like anything till I come for check-up huufff" 😆)

And back at home, it was a damn cute scene between AarYa…😊😳 Aarti's concern towards Yash was so natural as if he is her 4th kid and Yash giving angry looks while taking medicine…. Ooo I was feeling like pulling his cheeks.. he looks just like a baby😉😆😆...

Looking forward for the precap… Atlast Ansh realized his mistake.. and Aarti herself making him to say sorry in front of all… Not only they are shocked even I too was shocked… Let's see what will be their reaction to it...

Aarti-Yash

Aarti taking care of Yash today while he was ill has started a new dynamic in their relationship. Up until this point, Aarti was mostly doing things for Yash because his parents insisted, or when she did it on her own, her efforts were politely rejected. Now that she has seen similar Ansh type behaviors from Yash, Aarti seems to have moved into a more mothering type of caring with Yash, which I think may be her attitude toward looking after his needs going forward. I have a feeling that once he is a bit more comfortable with her, Yash will like this motherly type care from Aarti, because he will not feel like his relationship with Arpita is affected by it. What I will be interested to see, is when he starts developing romantic feelings for Aarti, how will he react if she keeps caring for him with the exact same manner that she does the children? Will he become angry and frustrated if she doesn't start showing more wifely type concerns at that time, or will he just be happy with any degree of caring from her side?

Paridhi-Prateek

I understand Paridhi's frustration, and when your partner has upset you, your first inclination is not to then go and get all physical with them. However, using the "don't touch me" blackmail on your husband can lead to a lot of problems in the future. Right now they are still in the honeymoon stage, so Prateek is not going to take her words in a wrong way. But, if she continues to use this tactic when things upset her, then their marriage is going to go downhill a lot faster than Vidhi/Pankaj's has. What I really hope is that both Paridhi and Prateek can mature in their relationship by figuring out ways to overcome the hurdles in their life together, without some major disaster forcing them to grow up.

Vidhi-Pankaj

So, I was thinking over the weekend about why is it that at this particular time Pankaj seems to suddenly want to spend a lot of time with Vidhi? If he has always been as sweet and romantically inclined as he seems now, then I would expect that he has always wanted to spend more time with his wife. This made me wonder if perhaps Vedant and Vedika have only recently been sent off to boarding school, and that Pankaj had been patiently waiting for Vidhi to have more free time, once their children were no longer putting quite so many demands on her time as they were when they were smaller. I don't know if I saying it quite clearly, but I mean that maybe Pankaj has always been aware of how much was expected of Vidhi around the house. Since he knew the children would go to boarding school when they were older, he might have thought to be patient and not put many demands on Vidhi while she had so many responsibilities, with the hope that when her responsibilities were reduced, she would naturally give her extra time to him. When that didn't happen, he tried various ways of prompting a change in their relationship, but it is very clear from Vidhi's talk today, that she doesn't feel the importance of them spending time together outside of their roles as son and DIL of the house. I'm really glad that both Aarti and Yash saw the exchange, so that hopefully they can support Vidhi and Pankaj in this issue.
