Why Sarita's presence changed Abhi and Vikrant's life

For a long time, father and son were missing the touch and warmth of a woman - the kindness and deep love that only a woman can provide. Even Vandana wasn't around, so Abhi grew up lonely as Vikrant immersed himself in his work which is (probably) male-dominated too.
Sarita is a breath of fresh air in their lives and has enveloped them both in her warmth. That's why Vikrant is falling for her so fast. The part of "Yeh Dil Hai" that was playing when she was disentangling herself was quite significant:
Bataaon kya andheron mein yun kat rahi thi zindagi kaisi
Magar ab hai zindagi mein meri roshni ek zindagi jaisi
Un raahon par chaldenge hum aap raahein jo dikhlayein hamein
he was living in darkness
but now there is a light in his life
and he is willing to follow her down whichever path she shows him.
Vikrant, the successful businessman, who makes his own rules and leads people, is beginning to surrender to her emotionally. (Of course credit goes to Sarita for knowing how to get him to do exactly what she wants: sometimes by smiling at him, sometimes shouting at him.)
Isn't that what we're seeing? One of Sarita's aims was to get him to be more emotionally and practically involved in bringing up Abhi, not leaving him to be cared for by servants. Now he looks forward to spending more time with Abhi and expressing his love. For me, that's been the most beautiful part of this story, how she's really binding all 3 of them together into a close unit.
I think this experience is also therapeutic for Sarita because she is healing herself as she heals them. By filling the void in their lives with love, hope, and dreams of a wonderful future, she is also bringing happiness into her own heart and mind. The 10 years of depression she suffered while married to Raj did teach her to look at the positives in life, and I'm glad she's not wasting her time pining or moping over her 'lost love'.

wonderful post! 😊
and really i love how the three of them r bonding together.

also, sarita too must have longed for a child n now all that motherly care inside her is bursting out n making abhi feel so loved n happy.

same with vikrant, sarita hardly got to behave as raj's wife in all these years but with vikrant its so different n if not love, she is definitely getting very attached to vikrant.

its lovely to see all three of them together everytime 😊

amazing post👏 the lyrics of Yeh Dil Hai are so wonderful and implies so much..this song touches your heart and that is why I love it so much on ViSa..as you said Vikrant and Abhi both have been living a life too void of affection and emotions..Sarita is changing all that..Like when you saw Vikrant being pleased by simply eating hot parantha after such a long time as pointed out by him, it just brought out his vulnerability..how he has been missing on having care and concern for him by someone..Abhi atleast had him to share his feelings and emotions but he did not had anyone..that is why the rough exterior..Did you notice after that breakfast Abhi commented so extra-cheerfully that his dad was sooo happy...it shows how even Abhi could feel lack of happiness in his dad's life even though when he is so little..even in the scene where Vikrant is working and Sarita is teaching lines for the play to Abhi, you see that Vikrant realizes his coffee is finished when he was wanting more and before he could even ask you see Sarita saying that she will bring him coffee which left him so happy as he for the first time in years has someone looking after his needs..these small gestures of care and concern are enough for him to feel about Sarita differently.. While Sarita is filling the blank spaces in Vikrant-Abhi's life , by giving her the authority to do so, they are bringing new happiness in her life..She was fulfilling her responsibilities all these 10 years but had no rights or authority!! With Vikrant and Abhi she is getting loved and cared back for her love and affection..she is given full rights of a mother and is showing authority as a wife also..It is well just the start..but start of something beautiful😃

Awesome post. Words you spoken are out of my mind too. I am starting to believe that Sarita never love Raj (it was only out of the fact that he was her husband), but with Vikrant - I can see a different Sarita.

Thanks for liking my post, guys.
@MistiofMistz you wouldn't believe, I was just wondering that too...Maybe what she felt for Raj was partly due to social conditioning that one must love one's spouse. She loved him with her head not her heart? I don't know, but I'd love it if the CVs explored this point.

Can I marry this post? Like seriously? I feel exactly the same way as you do where visa are concerned and I really want to see all this on screen. YOU NEED TO SEND THIS LINK AS WELL, TO THE CVS!

Hats off to your in depth thought process and the way you put it into writing! I wish I could do the same. HOPE YOU WRITE A VISA FANFIC SOMETIME!

I noticed the lyrics of the song too...for me the song played in the backgound should hold meaning with which you can relate to the couple. That is why I feel yeh dil hai suits visa a lot!

I agree with your entire post and hope the cvs take notice of your post and present the same onscreen!

Love visa and love your indepth analysis even more! Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Feels wonderful that there are many who want to see the same as I do!

Cheers 😃
I would love to see vikrant torn betwen guilt andlove towards sarita and her trying to break down his wall of self protection and reciprocatin his love!...but gradually!

@ inlieu I totally agree. I doubt if she love Raj with her heart otherwise she would slightly hesitate going closer to Vikrant and doing his wife duty. It show her heart accepted Vikrant as her husband, but she hasn't realize it. Only Divya or Vikrant or herself can rediscover out her feeling. I witness a different Sarita at Vikrant's place (instead of the girl who stayed with Raj over ten years of marriage). It feel like - she's herself before her marriage to Raj.
