Myra, they have shown Divya as an open book and Sarita somewhat ambiguous in everything. There is a contrast between the two. Divya is very honest in all her dealings. She is quite impulsive, but she tells everything upfront. Her relationship with her siblings is quite open. Sarita actually wanted to keep this a secret from Raj and had told Divya that she was worried about Raj getting mad enough at her to hit her if he found out. But they didn't change characterization of Divya when she told Raj upfront that Sarita had approached her.
Also, I am glad that they clarified her motives today. She is wallowing in guilt ever since she found out that Raj was affected by her departure to this extent. So for last few days, they were only talking about Divya helping Sarita because she was holding herself responsible for Sarita's plight. But today they made it clear that she is doing it for Raj's sake. She told Gaurav about her regret of hurting Raj to such an extent that his life stopped. It stopped her for too but she is a stronger character than either Raj or Sarita. So she went to Raj's house for his sake and told the same thing to Raj too that she was there because of him.
I liked the words they played for her: that she would care for him, that she was what she was because of him. Tum ho aashiqui is suiting Raj and Divya just as "laagi laagi lagan" is suiting Sarita.
Gaurav too is strong character where he chose to fell in his mother's eyes rather than let Divya fall in her eyes. Her mother is sensitive about somebody leaving from their life because the father abandoned her. Also Gaurav's answers were very mature to Divya's brother's accusation. He took all the blame but he remained dignified. Both Divya and Gaurav are very honest people.
Sarita on the other hand is quite mysterious. So it turns out that there is something more in the background of this marriage. She was afraid of Divya coming just when Raj's father was coming back. Why is that? She went from a shattered person just before the wedding to an happy anticipating bride just before the wedding night.
