RajatTokas in ’Khoj Khazane Ki’ ~Updated~ - Page 3

Scene 3

We are now 100 years in the past. The story is of 'Rajputs'. Murat Singh is six feet tall, he was hefty and had a well toned body with a long moustache (people feared!!)! Bhuli is narrating the story and we can hear his voice. He says that Murat Singh was 'fida' (really liked) on a woman called Mausami Bai. Sadly, Mausami was married.

One night, Murat goes to Mausami's place. He confesses his love for her again..and requests her to marry him. Mausami Bai refuses furiously as she is already married. He tries to convince her but she is adamant. Murat leaves dissapointed.

Scene 2 continued

As BBB are discussing and debating, Bhuli introduces this 'khazana' in their conversation. He claims that there was a 'daku' (dacoit) named 'Murat Singh' years ago. He was Paan Singh's (another dacoit living in their age) maternal granpa's maternal grandpa's maternal grandpa! 😆 He was quite dangerous..and everyone was afraid of him. Bhuli then narrates 'The story of Murat's treasure' or 'Murat Singh Ka Khazana'..abt 100 years ago.

Wait…Scene 3 coming up…

Scene 4

On his way back he sees an old weak woman who is standing with the help of a stick by the roadside. Murat Singh moves along with his horse.. ignores her..and tries not to catch her attention. But that woman keeps on staring at him. She finally with a confident look says, "Bahut pyar karta hai na usse" (You love her dearly..don't you!). Murat Singh comes to a hault..and gives her a surprised n skeptical look. Before he prepares himself for asking her any question, the lady says, "I hv seen you come to Mausami's place several times. She loves jewellery. She keeps on fighting with her husband for a nose ring. Bring jewels to her and she'll be yours."

Confused yet liking the idea Murat gives the idea a thought.

Scene 5

The next day he snatches some jewels from villagers at gunpoint.

Scene 6

That night Murat goes to Mausami's place. Mausami's husband had not yet returned from work. After the dayz work she is asleep. Her house is just like a small hut. As it is nighttime so no lamps are lit in the house. Therez a tree outside and a 'charpai' is kept near it. Murat is now very near to Mausami's wakes up. He ties his horse with the tree and moves towards the door.

Hearing some noise Mausami wakes up.

Mausami is alert now..she gets up and takes a dagger in her hand. Murat is about to enter the house now..he walks through the door and bang! Mausami gives him a hard blow on his head.

Scene 7

The might is pitchdark but still some moonlight can enter the house through the window. Murat Singh shouts "aah!!"…and Mausami recognizes him…she immediately catches hold of him simultaneously trying to confirm that itz Murat. She puts him down on the floor with difficulty. Murat is amazed that Mausami did this to him. Mausami starts crying. She says in surprise as if coming back to life after a deep shock, "Murat, you!"

Murat replies, "Yes, me. Why did you do this to me Mausami Bai?" Mausami is sill crying. Murat shows her the jewels he had got for her..she cries even more now. Suddenly Murat has an angry expression on his face as if he is determined to do something. He declares "Mausami Bai, if u can't be mine..you can't be anyone else's too!" And kills her using the same dagger.

Mausami dies.

Scene 8

We can now see Murat Singh's gang members in Mausami's house. They knew that Murat wud come to her place that night..but were shocked to see both dead. They even knew abt the jewels. Overcome by greed they started looking for the jewels everywhere desperately…but never found any. They were confused just like you are right now.

Afraid that the villagers wud accuse them for killing Mausami and Murat, they took the dead bodies away.

Scene 9

Bhopa and Biloo are in shock. They have still not been able to believe that all this happened ..and impatiently ask Bhuli to continue. Bhuli continues the story.
