Hi Guys!
As promised am back with the jist of my conversation with the man himself-Rajat Tokas.
To start with he sounds just as sweet as he sounds on TV,very sweet ,unassuming ,couteous ...but just the very first conversation with him gave me the impression ,there is a lot more to him than just fun n frolic ....he has his moments of quiet reflective self aswell,very patiently he listened to my idea of writing a book ,and even commented that "if you write a book it will be about how the outside world perceives me ,but not the inside world,the person i really am"....to that i did clarify that "i am not interested in the outside world ,i want to write about the real him ,what he feels ,what matters to him most ,not just abt his fav things and fav colours etc ,i want to write about things that no one else knows -like his first call to his mother/father after bagging a role in PRC ,what was the feeling & the reaction..." ...He also added that media at times not necessarily potrays the real me ,this was in response to my answer ,when he asked me ,"so do you know anything about me" ,and i replied ,"well only that much ,that's available on the web for me to read"
He gave very cool collected replies to what i asked ,and sounded very reflective ,he was amidst the shoot still managed to chat for a good 15 mins or so ,then discussed things with his dad n mom,they also feel gratitude to all the fans n spectators who have made him what he is today ,apart from his talent & hardwork of course.
He's asked me to speak to him on sunday ,as he probably might not have a shoot that day ,so more updates later....
Lastly i did not forget to give all the wishes from the indya.com forum on PRC ,told him he has a huge list of fans .... i told him that the fans here noticed that he was looking very tired in one of the episodes and very concerned aswell,he seemed to have smiled :) He was all the way very grateful to all the love you guys have shown.
