Believe it or not, Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat's been sending fan mail to the show.

He may be the Vice President of India but he's watches television just like the rest of us. In fact, Bhairon Singh Shekhawat is so impressed by 'Prithiviraj Chauhan — Dharti Ka Veer Yodha' that he's been writing letters of appreciation to Star Plus and the producers.

Sources within the channel revealed that the Vice President has admitted he's a fan of the show — which traces the life of Prithviraj Chauhan — and follows it every week.

In turn, the channel has decided to felicitate the distinguished statesman in Mumbai this week. Apart from the head honchos at Star Plus, Rajat Tokas (who plays the young Prithviraj Chauhan) and actor Mukul Nag will be among those present on the occassion.
