Okay everone am trying chapter 8 again, hopefully this time wont delet it all😡 Also this Chapter is a bit sad but promise the next few will be happy one😊
Recap: Nandani has broken arm, Sanyogita uncouncious. Sangam blames himself Prithvi assures him he is not to blame. Prithvi upset but promises revenge against the person responsible.
Chapter 8
The room was silent after Prithvi finished speaking each of them aware that when the person responsible for bringing tears into the Mehel today was caught, and they knew he would be no matter how long it to track him down, then the pain he would feel would make todays pain seem like nothing.
Kissing his daughter on the head he wiped her tears away and then checked her arm to make sure that it was okay before moving over to Sanyogita to do the same for her kissing her on the head and wiping her tears away. Once he had finished only then did he turn back to the others in the room.
'Tum sab jo hum yaha Nandani or Sanyogita ke saath rahe ga'
'Par Prithvi' 'Prithvi' 'Leken' they all spoke at once not wanting to leave him alone.
'Baas hum ke deya na, tum aram kar lo hum teek hai' he told them in a voice that they knew meant he wouldn't be changing his mind.
Before anyone could speak again Pratha shook her head indicating that they should follow her brothers wishes and leave and walking up to her brother hugged him and said 'Aacha Bhaiya, hum ja raha hai pur humari zaroorath pari to hum ko bolado' before walking out of the door.
As his sister left the room Prithvi went to the front of the bed and knelt down in front of Sanyogita and laying his head down on her feet begged for her forgiveness even knowing that she wouldn't be able to give it to him.
'Hum ko mag kar do Sanyogita, hum ko paath hai ke hum ap ka waada nahe niba saktha pur itni bi naraz maath hona. Hum ko choor ke maath jana' he said before he started to cry.
Watching her brother on the floow with his head bent over his wifes feet begging for forgiving Pratha felt tears in her eyes and wanted to go over and confort him but didn't know how becuase today was the first time since he had carried their fathers dead body into the Mehel and laid it at their mothers feet had she seen her brother cry. Thinking of her mother that day and her brother today Pratha was brought to her knees sinking down onto the floor with her face in her lap.
Watching her as she watched her brother not wanting to introde on her but when he saw her sinking down onto the flooe he couldn't hold himself back, his feet carrying him forward even as his mind pulled him back. Reaching her he crouched down until her was face to face and then ran his hand over her head.
At the touch of a hand on her head Pratha lifted her tear stained face and looked straight into Samar's eyes.
'Nay Pratha, aaj Prithvi ko humari thaakath chiye, tum toot jaye ge to Prithvi ko sahara kun de ga' he told her reminder her that today it was about her brother and not for her to be feeling sorry for her self.
'Tum sach ke rahe ho Samar, hum ko bhaiya ke zakaat bana un ki kamzori nahi'she said wiping her tears and wondering how to do that even as she moved back towards the room to check on her brother.
Wiping his tears Prithvi got up from the floor and went back over to check on his daughter. Crouching down on the floor again he picked up her hand, which seemed somehow even more fragile today, and brought it to his lips before bending his head down until his forehead was touching hers and whispered softly
'Tu ha humari Chandani, meri Sanyogita ke roshini or is pore mehel ke khushi. Aap ke ankh col kar hum ko humari Chandani waapes de do'.
He stayed in that position his head bent over touching his daughter ignorning the cold seeping into his body, the ache in his back and the pain in his mind but as his eyeslids started to drop her knew he would have to get up.
Pratha came into the room just as he was getting up from the floor having watched him waiting for the right moment.
'Bhaiya' she said coming towards him with her arms outstreched.
'Pratha, tum yaha es waqt, sub teek tho haina?' he asked her anxious not to let down the only other woman in his life apart from his wife,daughter and mother that he cared about down today.
'Hum se neend nahi a raha re , or pir hum ko Pita ji ko yaad aya tha or hum daar gaye the, kya hum yaha tere pass rahe sakthi' she asked not having to fake the tremor in her voice.
Willing to do anything to make her happy Prithvi hugged her and assured her it was fine. After making sure that his sister was settled for the night Prithvi went back to the bed in a dilema as to who needed him the most his wife or his daughter , but knowing that he couldn't survive without any of them and in the end decided to climb up into the middle of the bed between them. Laying down he reached for one of Sanyogita's and Nandanis hands each and bringing them up to his lips kissed them adn then placed them on his chest over his heart and it was only after he shut his eyes that his mind wondered to think about what would happen when Sanyogita awoke, but never imaginging what followed once she did.
Sanyogita was drowning in a sea of blackness, her mind fuzzy and unable to her eyes even though she knew that their was a reason she should when suddenly a picture flashed before her eyes and she screamed.
Hearing the scream Prithvi jerked out of his sleep to see Sanyogita sitting up in the middle of the bed, her head in disarray, eyes glassy with fear and her body trembling. Carefully releasing his daughters hand he reached for Sanyogita bringing her into his arms to confort her, turning her head and laying it on his chest.
'Baas Sanyogita hum hai tumare pass, sub teek hai, bass be kardo na' he told her soothingly while stroking her hair.
As he turned her head to lay it on his chest Sanyogita saw her daughter for the first time and whimpered in pain, pulling her self out of the Prithvi's arms to move across the bed to take her daughter into her arms but before she could she was pulled back.
'Ek baar hum ko tuj ne hamari beti ke pass jana rok dey thum ne fir yeah galthi maath karna' she told Prithvi
'Nay Sanyogita esi koi baath nahi hai, Hum sirf ' he tried to tell her moving to take her in his arms again to confort her and so wasn't prepared when she moved away from him.
'Haath maath lagana hum ko, Hum ko teri ko baath par yakeen nahi hai Prithvi' she said angrily as she crawled across the bed to get away from him
'Sanyogita' Prithvi cried unsure what was happening.
'Nay hum ko teri ko baath nahi sonee hum ko sirf apni beti chiye' she told him as she again tried to pick up her daughter
'SANYOGITA' Prithvi said hating to raise his voice but afraid in case she hurt there daughter.
'Nandani ke baa toot gay he, esi leye un ko haath maath lagana' he told her
'KYA' Sanyogita cried crawling to her daughter and picking up her free hand and brushing it across her lips.
'Sanyogita' Prithvi started again as he came over to stand by his wife and daughter.
'Hum ne kedeya na, hum ko or humari beti ko haath maath lagana' she told he rhusband as he tried to hug her and her daughter
Prithvi was in shock at what she had just said not beliving she meant it and again tried to hug her and was pushed away
'Hum ko or humari beti ko haath maath lagana, kedeya ne hum' she said getting angrier
'Pur ku, kya huwa hai' Prithvi cried dispearingly
'Hum ko pooch rahe hai Ku, humari beti ke ye haalth or pir be thum yea saval hum ko kar rai hai' she shouted at him
'Sanyogita, hum manthe hai ke humise bhool ho gaya, par Nandani teek hu jaye ge or hum isi sub ki karn ke zimidar doond kar'
'Baas, Baas hum pur thomari koi baath nahi suni, tum chale kyu nai jaathe' she asked cutting him off and turning her back on Prithvi not realising that as she did so her husbands heart shattered into a thousand shards like pieces of glass.
'Teek hai Sanyogita. Hum ko hamesha sirf theri khusi chaiye aaj be to hum chaal jiye gai' he told her only stopping long enough to drop a kiss on his daughters forehead.
'Bhaiya' Pratha said catching his as he made his way out the door, but Prithvi just brushed his hand over her head and down her back, took one last look at his family and then releasing his hand walked out of the door.
'Bhaiya' Pratha cried after her brother unable to belive all that had happened.
After hearing Sanyogita's cry Pratha had also awoken but had chosed to remain quite so that her brother and sister in law could have some time together but as she had lain listening to their conversation she had been shocked and she had even if her bhabi hadn't seen the tears in her brothers eyes and decided that Sanyogita needed to be made aware of this fact.
Sanyo laid down by her daughter the tears streaming down her cheeks not only for her Nandani but also her Prithvi. She couldn't believe all that had happened and couldn't forget Prithvi had stopped her meeting her daughter when she needed her the most but at the same time the other part of her mind which she was trying to block out was telling her that she should not have spoken to her husband the way she did and she especially shouldn't have kept him away from his daughter knowing how much they loved each other. As she was thinking this she saw Pratha in the room and got up to meet her.
'Pratha' she cried hugging her and then whispered 'Dekho humari beti ke kya haalath hai' before she stated crying.
As upset as Pratha was with Sanyogita she couldn't see her in pain especially knowing how much she loved her daughter so she held her and let her cry it out and then taking her over to the bed she sat her down before she spoke.
'Bhabi ek baath kena boora maath maniya pur tum ne humara saahara le leya tumara daard bantne ke leye , par humara bhaiya key kon saahara deinga, ku ke tum janti ha wo kise se koch bi nahi kai ga, ap ki pratha se be nay'
'Bas yehe kena tha' she said softly then seeing the tears hugged Sanyogita and continued 'Hum ko maf kar do je hum thumari dil ko dukiye' and turned to leave the room.
Sanyogita didn't know if she sould get down on her knees and pray for forgiveness or for help just knowing that she wanted to cry her eyes out. Listening to Pratha speak only then had Sanyogita realised how big a mistake she had made because she knew that her husband didn't share his pain with anyone not even her sometimes, which meant that while she had been exisiting in a dream world for the better part of the day her husband had been alone with his pain all day.
As the early conversation with her husband came flooding back into her mind she let out a moan of dispear but when she saw Pratha leaving she snapped out of her self pity.
Knowing that she would be going to find her brother Sanyogita knew that this time he needed his Sanyogita not his Pratha because it was his Sanyogita who had hurt him the most today and only she could fix it.
'Ruk jo Pratha' she told her a plan already forming in her mind
'Par Bhani hum ko Bhaiya se' Sanyogita cut her off
'Aaj hum Prithvi ko saahara doing ge pur hum ko theri zaroorath hai's he told her smiling.
'Humari nandani ke pass rena, hum isi ke pita dond kar le aiyenge' she told her lovingly kissing her on the cheek.
Pratha watched her sister in law as she changed clothes wondering what was going on in her mind, but when she saw her walk outo of the room with her sword in her hand she had her answer.
Pratha laughed as she climbed on the bed next to her neice beliving for the first time in thsi hellish day that things would be okay. Looking at her neice she smiled and said 'Aap thum be humare pass loot aiye tho pir sub teek ho jiye ga' and kissed her on the cheek before closing her eyes to go to sleep.
