William Shakespeare once said "The Eyes are the window to your soul

I managed to watch the show. Thanks Monica for prompting me to.🤗

Last weekend's episode I felt was very apt to the saying The Eyes are the Window to your soul.

We have Mrinal a brave princess with a troubled past. Her past determines her every single action so much so she has even banned any Music in her life because Music brought painful memories. Memories of a gruesome death. Her Hazel eyes is fiery when she talks about vengeance but got teary eyed when she touched the Veennai,..The notes glaringly off note just like her life bereft of beautiful music. The actress portrayed it beautifully.

Prithvi the Prince who is searching for his soul, his statues half done for he has not found the eyes that fit the statue. They do say that sculptor's carve eyes last. He has this playful way of looking at life, he is a born romantic but brave too the perfect foil to our scarred princess. We have seen shows where the male is scarred and the female heals this is so much a welcome change and the actor who plays it does it beautifully with simple nuances like bowing his head slightly hoping that the princess will adorn him with the garland.

Eyes they truly depict all emotions. Tailap a King who loves his sister but maybe also longs to just have an ordinary life loving his Kosha. The pain he felt when Kosha asks him to take her outside to the anger and helplessness he felt with his interactions with his wife beautifully done. The wife just wants to be loved she drowns her sorrows in wine all to get a simple acknowledgement from her husband. She is a queen but with no King.

Hearts covey the most poignant picture through our eyes. It is not merely a window but a reflection of our state of mind.

This journey of the scarred princess and the prince who will heal her with Love is beautiful to watch.

Closing with a quote by Cicero

The great Roman philosopher Cicero also said, "The face is a picture of the mind as the eyes are its interpreter."

Beautiful quotes and your thoughts dear.

Eyes are important aspect of their story where Prithvi has love, admiration in those and Mrinal!! My God has fire in them. Yet when she touched that Veena that Fire attitude converts into pain.
I m too quoting one line of Samuel Richardson : Where words are restrained, the eyes often talk a great deal.

Couldn't help but write
ankhein bhi hoti hain dil ki zubaan

Well sabita... good to see u back in the forum. I can see your love for mythological shows has brought u bk from hybernation. ( btw... i started PV for ashish 😉 but falling for sona/ mrinal (the name so synonymous for the love of our previous show). She is fabulous nd her eyes does full justice for her role.

Well you talked abt the eyes but all i can see is the different types of fire in different eyes'.

1. The burning fire of revenge in mrinal's eyes which has consumed her or engulfed her as a second skin.

2. The fire of rejection and defeat in queen's eyes which is leading to her own destruction by drowning herself in wine.

3. The fire of love in kosha's eyes bordering on insanity and waiting to be acknowledged.

4. The fire of adulation and innocence in the young girls' eyes for mrinal who might be a pawn in the elders' game.

The differences brought out in the show is just wow. This is my first mythological show in the last 2 decades as i am a fan of old DD telecasted ramayan nd mahabharat. But am glad i started watching PV. Do keep writing.
