Today's episode completely justified why I watch this show. True, there was no tense moment between Krishna and his half-brother Abhimanyu, but there was plenty of Krishna Krishna Krishna, and that's enough reason for me. The episode started and ended on a strong note, so that in itself was better than last night. The mob rallying around Ankit Patel was revolting, the way he egged them on and said all kinds of trash about a girl whose education probably far surpasses his own was nothing but disgusting and he knew it. But filth like that dont know anything but to believe what they want. I hate how thoroughly the mob mentality prevails in some parts of India, but not showing it isn't exactly an answer to it. How gullible and stupid they all were to support this completely irrational man was evident. All of them shamelessly acting as if the Saxenas' private property suddenly became open to them to desecrate with their impure and violent behavior. Might makes right, doesn't it? 😕 The utterly mannerless way in which they attacked the older members of the household as well as the women was an obvious sign of their imbecile nature. Yes, they were deceived. But if they were decent to begin with, they would have told Ankit Patel what to do with his accusations. Stray animals have better judgement than this lot. My heart just felt relief when the camera went on Krishna. And yes, finally the Krishna Krishna music is back!! The way he came on the scene and took control of what was happening was masterful. And can we expect anything less from Baba? Our horror turned to joy when he came at the last minute and laid down the law for anyone who dared shift from their spot. One guy I wouldn't mind knowing if life turned sour. And the very controlled way in which he asked the crowd how to deal with Ankit Patel was just awesome. You could see a tiny smile creep up on even Saint Pratigya's face. As if to say haha, you guys had no idea whom I am married to. Krishna and Pratigya took the mask of self-righteousness off of everyone's face, but mostly from Ankit Patel.
When everyone is in the room reassuring a scared Arushi, it was moving. But Komal saying she would harm anyone who dared hurt her SIL was truly noble. We're talking about someone who has lost her own husband and has to raise her daughter by herself, and she still has a heart brave enough to feel for Arushi and want to protect her dignity. The Thakur siblings are one of a kind.
When Pratigya hugged Krishna in private after looking at him intensely, it was a glorious scene. Because honestly, she was scared in spite of the bold face she put out on the street and we all know. Pratigya, we wish you would just stop staying at the Saxena house to prove a point and just be where you want to be. But ok, having said that I give Krishna a lot of credit for putting up with her principles. Even Samar thinks Pratigya is always right, so we can't blame Krishna for going along with her. Good on Baba for going after Pankaj Singh because once he does, the weasel cant lie his way out of it.
The scene where SS and Shakti were sitting and SS distributed dry goods among the less fortunate was obscene. Here is a man who strips family members of their dignity in private, but clothes the less endowed in public? In other words, whatever is easiest for him.
Last but not least, when SS confronts Pratigya and tells her off for not listening to him about the case was just chilling. This man who stands there and laughs mockingly when his son's SIL is completely stigmatized by the people gets it back word for word from, in Krishna's words, the "town's best lawyer." SS, you're a powerful, ruthless and cold man, but you've met your match in Pratigya. I didn't know what to make of the expression he had at the end, but it was something close to being nervous and trying not to show it openly. (Never let your enemies know how you really feel.) Pratigya seemed to take a page out of Abhimanyu's book and told SS to go to hell in the iciest way possible. But sometimes the Princess is right. SS lies his way out of one mess, only to face it again when his clever DIL puts two and two together. She didn't give him any chance of making her feel the victim and that is typical of her. She knows he doesnt care if she knows, but what happens if his favorite son knows? He gets elected at the risk of losing a member of his family, someone he has cherished and loved all of his life. Instead of feeling sorry she defended her sister, she turned it around and made him feel like jelly once the truth is out. And let's not kid ourselves, Krishna means more to him than the Niwas and all of its residents put together. It's hard to believe the same man who loves to feed the dogs at night, also likes to treat people like helpless objects of his anger. In SS' book, the might of power and money makes right. But in Pratigya's book, the might of truth and morals does.
Star of the episode: Krishna Singh Thakur, Pratigya Singh Thakur

Fantastic review Trina - like you even I actually watched without needing to ffwd - why is that? just the horror of it or becasue we were compelled to see what happens next? whatever the reason - K was the anecdote!!!! Its all about KST but gotta admit PST showing the chinks in her armour altogether make her tonnes more likeable and believable!!
an enjoyable watch - like it used to be!
Bring on more!!!

Beautiful Review.👏

It was a very good episode, loved Kriya yesterday. KST coming to the rescue and P standing upto SS to prepare to loose his favorite son once he finds out what he has done.

My favorite part of the show yesterday was the private Kriya scene( maybe because I'm a romantic at heart) and you described it perfectly. Pratz being strong to the outside world but with K she let all her fears out and just want to be comforted and held by the man she loves so much.

SS's truth will be revealed to K soon and I am so looking forward to that day.

Trina missed your posts so much but this post made my day... The way you can give words to the scenes and the way you can put emotions in your writeup creates a totally different outlook of the narrative. The one that make us love the characters once again and the story too !!!!!!!!!!!!!. Keep writing, thank you 👍🏼
