I think they are presenting the evidences and basis of the case. The witnesses will be testify soon. Even K hasn't been questioned by the lawyers yet in the courtroom. I also wonder why they didn't show Tanmay as well as the other witnesses being questioned at the crime scene, was it a blooper or will they show it as a flashback scene.
