Chapter 52

It was morning and the sun peeped in through the window…… the room was all messed up. There was Pooja's jewellery one by one spread on the floor towards their bed. Her bangles were on the floor some broken, some still on the floor. Her lehenga, on top of it was Arhaan's Kurta…..

Pooja and Arhaan, both were sleeping on their sides with Pooja facing the window and her back facing Arhaan. Pooja was totally underneath the blanket only her palms and her face were peeping out. Arhaan's bare arms stretched out of the blanket around her and their fingers interlocked. Pooja had a disturbed sleep as it was tough for her to get a sound sleep in a new place.

It was 6.30 in the morning and she knew that the arti takes place 8.00AM. She did not want to be late the first day itself so she got up while slowly lifting his hand from around her. She kissed his palms and searched for her clothes. But she did not want to wear that heavy lehenga again only for the sake of removing it again within minutes. She saw Arhaan's kurta and quickly wore it.

She started taking out the clothes from her suitcase making them all messy. She hurried into the bathroom and by this time Arhaan was disturbed by the noises. He got up scratching his head and rubbing his eyes still yarning. He saw her going towards the bathroom in his kurta….

Arhaan: RAno…. neend abhi tak khula nahi kya tumhara??? Tum meri kurta pehen rakhi ho…

Pooja: pata hai mujhe…. Mere paas ab time nahi ye heavy heavy lehenga choli pehne ke liye…..

Arhaan: arre to phir main kya pehnoonga???

Pooja: Arhaan tum room mein hi to ho… kurta ki kya zaroorat hai…..

Arhaan: room mein hoon to kya hua…… arre bed se kaise utaroonga….

Pooja: uff… tum bhi na…. (she goes to the cupboard and searches for his shorts…. Finally after throwing the neatly arranged clothes here and there she gets his shorts and throws on the bed)

Arhaan looks at his cupboard which has now become a dustbin like..

She goes inside the washroom.

Arhaan gets down the bed and something pricks him. It is her earring which he had thrown last night. He picks it up and looks around the room…

Arhaan: hey bhagwan…. Ye mere room ka kya haal ho gaya??? Kaise ho gaya ye sab??? (sighs) bhool kaise gaya ki main Ranoji bhi mere kamre mein reh rahi hai….. saari jewellery idhar-udhar padi hai…. clean bhi nahi kiya aur madam chali fresh hone…..

He shouted.."Rano….."

Pooja: kya hai…… chilla kyun rahe ho???

Arhaan: ye tumne room ka kya haal bana diya hai… sab kuch yahan wahan pada hai…. clean karna bhi zaroori nahi samjha…..

Pooja: tum kar lo na… kaun si badi baat hai……

Arhaan: lo…. Shaadi ke pehle din hi pati se kaam lena shuru kar diya…

Pooja: oh…hello…. Mr.Punj ye jo aapka room ka haal hai na ye aapke wajah se hua hai…. thoda flashback mein jaayie aur kal raat yaad kijiye….

Arhaan: teek hai teek hai……

He arranges the bed, shifts her clothes from her suitcase to their cupboard. Almost he had done room clean except the spread over jewels. He picked them up one by one and Pooja came out of the washroom in her bathrobe which were only till her knees (not even covering her knees) her hair still wet with water dripping. She crossed him and stood before the mirror while inhaled the fragrance as she crossed him.

He moved towards the mirror and hugged her from back.

Pooja: chod Arhaan… tyaar hona hai bahut saara kaam hai aur sahi samay arti ke liye pahunch na hai….

Arhaan: bas thodi derr….. ye typical wives mat bano tum ab….

She turned to face him still in his grips.

Pooja: dekh liya na… ab jaaoon??

Arhaan: tumhe chodne ka mann hi nahi karta……. Subah subah aise aadhe adhoore kapadon mein mujhe crazy kyun kar rahi ho…… (lowering his face to kiss her)

Pooja stops him by keeping her fingers on his lips and nods her in the direction of NO.

Arhaan (removing her fingers) looking into her eyes and kissed her passionately. His hands gripped her back tightly and her hands clutched his hair. She pushed him with great might and took deep breathes. He was about to kiss her again and she said," bas bahut ho gaya….. chalo ab fresh ho lo"

Arhaan smiling with that mischief visible in his eyes went into the washroom.
