i think why not if the cLASH could give us TRP than why not... if kriya clash could bring in the magic in TRP why NOT...
i think kriya clash could lead to a different stage of the story...when all is well, yes we get lovely kriya scene but thats just as a add to the episode.. we feel nice ... but it will surely not draw viewer in the long term... thats why dip in TRP... but i do agree if this happens the character gets ruined... the character created... at the end of the days, its business guys...

Riyya, I think I agree with you on this. When I made the post, I wasn't sure myself what I would do.
I do think that if the show is in any trouble, maybe a Kriya rift/clash/difference of opinion could be introduced. Of course, it will have to be properly incorporated in the storyline, but then it would attract more viewers, meaning more TRPs. Many of these viewers will stick around after Kriya resolve their differences, and a higher TRP (than it currently is) will be sustained.

Maybe the CVs are already working in this direction? Is Sajjan Singh's plan to create a rift between Kriya?

I feel that if they'd handled the kriya separation track better last year, trps could have been improved and sustained. that track started beautifully, but then they rushed it and made it all so silly, that was the chance for viewers to see kriya in a battle of wills, and showing each other they didn't need each other, gradually progressing in life career wise, but at the same time feeling a void that no one else could fill.
I doubt that a kriya clash now would be believable after all they do for each other - it'll have to be a clash between kriya and the thakurs - kriya moving out of tn, and the thakurs intervening and making life miserable for them, with murder attempts etc finally revealed.

Hmmm, you're right, maybe it would be a bit unrealistic to show a clash between Kriya after all the unconditional love the CVs have shown. A clash between the Thakurs and Kriya should increase the ratings, but would they really have enough material to show?

Even in the case that Kriya move out of TN, I think a difference of opinion and rifts about managing a household alone would have to be shown between the couple.

to be honest few serials has survived after the SR of leads and others declined like MKAP.I think viewers like the tension, the unknown love ,the passion, the hatred between the leads rather than the lovey dovey romance between them and thats why shows like IPKKND,DABH are on the top today and shows like MKAP,SGP have lost their position who also had the the same hate turned love marriage track when they were on top( sorry for comparison)

Like the post but title is 😲🤔😕 to me.😆

In any romance novel "CONFLICT" and "TENSION" between the lead pair keeps us engaged in the story. Saccharin sweet lovey-dovey scenes get interesting when a conflict is thrown in the mix. Supporting characters add to this C and T and that determines how long the viewers are on the edge of their seats, cheering for the couple while chewing their nails off.😆

In MKAP's case I think the issue is that the show lost it's edge after SR. Earlier K was shown as a man with a mind of his own and anyone be it Prats or Takurs or Saxes heard it from him. But as he continued to pursue Prats with a one-track mind to win her love (and prove his first instincts (that she is in love with him were right)😛😆 K lost his identity and his edge. Both SS and K's characters have been compromised for the sake of tracks. POPS chose to make it about K growing in Prats's shadow. The original K had innate wisdom (a glimpse of it in his speech to Swamiji earlier this week), and a few admirable core principles worth appreciating but all that went for a toss and Prats's way became the highway😛 on which the couple have been since mid-Oct 2010. While K has learned a few lessons Prats continues to "know" and have all the answers and still doesn't trust K enough to tell him the truth about his medical report.😕

When the extended family is involved as in the case of Takurain going after ousting Prats and the pooja recently, it's always been about K's love put to the test. He gets led on a leash by the family only for him to wake up and smell the rats in the Niwas😆.

Hmm, as far back as I can remember, Krishna was always controlled by Pratigya, even before the SR. Remember how we used to say that she is using him as her driver, he is just like her puppy? But yes, after the SR, he lost all control over his mind, and has been influenced 100% by Pratigya, except for the occasional blimp.

That is one thing I don't like about Krishna. Everything in his life revolves around Pratigya. It's as if he has no separate identity. All family rifts will be about Pratigya, all arguments with his brother will be about Pratigya, Meera's track was how he'd hide the truth from Pratigya, even when he's at work, or with Chandu he's talking or thinking about Pratigya. Maybe that is what could bring the TRPs back... if the CVs show that Krishna has a life outside of Pratigya's influence. I really doubt if all husbands think so much about their wives. 😆

True, the longer you delay the SR, the longer the serial does well. But other shows like Balika Vadhu, Yeh Rishta kya kehlata hai, uttaran, pavitra rishta are also doing pretty well, even though I'm sure they've passed this SR stage years ago. I don't watch any of these shows, but they must be doing something that has kept the TRPs up?

Best line of the day👏😆. And no, I don't think even a simple majority of husbands think about their wives all day unless they've had a showdown, or he's wondering how to come up with a story to put the wife off the scent of what mischief he's been up to😉. On an average day, wife may flit into husband's thoughts for a few moments here and there but never run his life. Can you imagine a docwa performing surgery thinking about his wife during the procedure? Or a lawyer in court wallowing in a fight he had with his wife at dinner the night before? 😛

K lost a big part of his appeal for me when he started running circles around Prats like she's his favorite toy. Hanging around one's wife all the time doesn't necessarily translate to loving her. If I start that convo here I'd end up with a newsletter😛 😆. It's also a bit far-fetched that for a man who believed in being a MARD Takur style all his life, he's become a bit too wimpy and doing everything Prats wants. Doesn't he have a mind of his own or activities that don't involve Prats? He doesn' t have to hang around Prats all the time, a couple need some breathing room to keep the marriage fresh😳.

😆 Thanks, it's too bad we don't have any married men here with us on the forum (at least I don't think so 😆😕) or we would ask them how obsessed they are. On the surface, it seems as if Krishna does have his own private space... he has work, he has his friends... but even then it seems like everything he does, every decision he makes revolves around Pratigya, or simply she makes his decisions for him. I'd like to see a track where Krishna does something on his own, but I doubt we'll any such track, after all, the show isn't named Mann ki Awaaz Krishna That is a problem with women-centric shows, men don't get their due.

I think there is potential for a good track when it's revealed how Shakti got land papers transferred in his name. If the women (including Prats) stay out of it, then we can see a really good stand-off between Sajjan Singh-Shakti-Krishna, each powerful in their own way.

I have watched a couple of other shows and my conclusion is that women-centric Indian diraama need to strike a balance. In reality, after a year/few years of marriage a comfort level develops between a couple and the awkward conversations gradually taper off.
