Yes dhakarn the same question has been posted in some other threads too...but u hv given the most concise reason for P's action...although erstwhilewe hv seen P standing up against every wrong doing without taking into account its consequences, but that looked very odd & impractical...she has def matured & realized that her refusal to budge might hv created a big scene...this is sensible gesture of P this time...

she thought she will do the ritual then its over.. maybe she had no idea SS will ask even KN and K to touch Ganga's feet and K-SS confrontation will start anyway..
