P only speaks about police which are corrupt in that part of the world and news that police involved will reach the kidnappers..She is not thinking outside the box herself..where will she get the money for a private detective..they charge per the hour and we charge for initial consultation...She needs to pay them first before they do their work...

They think from their prospective which is not wrong either...For them it seems simple and one can not blame them for thinking this way...You are very hard on K sometimes it feels..

P is also thinking what she knows best and he is doing what he thinks is best...Give them chance to come to a conclusion without always comdemning K for reacting to the situation which is uncomfortable..

true yaar! though i felt what P said was not maybe completely wrong 😕 but the important thing here is it doesn't works in that part of the world, and like you have mentioned too much corruption ... and what is the guarantee that police will solve everything... and involving police is a big risk, isn't it? i mean that kidnapper is no ordinary goon, very cunning ( at least appears like that 😆) and when he has the guts to kidnap SS then he may even kill him... 😕 and won't it make him mad if he even gets the slightest idea that K and Shakti have involved police... and what if in that rage he harms SS...

I am not saying P is wrong and her advice is sound but if they were "normal" kidnappers...These are underworld and corruption is rife which in reality wont work in that part of the world...

But this is a serial so anything goes...😊
