The physical scars diminishes with time , but mentally it takes a lifetime to heal.

Pratigya has suffered enough, not anymore please. Krishna's credibility is gone and honestly he behaves like a little puppy in front of SS and SDS now - a- days. It's pathetic. I believe the cvs have made a blunder by disgracing Krishna's character to this extent. Instead of bringing high trps they have actually disappointed and angered many.

What possibly could he do now to make it right?

Hi Anu,

Appreciate Your ardor regards the battered Women , But this thread is reserved for us to know what drew us to the serial and is not for character analysis, serial dissection..I am sure if u delve deeper, you will come up with what keeps u glued to this serial inspite of ur doomsday prediction..There has to be some spark that keeps the hope alight within you..What is that spark ..is it the hope that Pratigya may become single woman or the fact that she will succeed in making a human out of a brute...

Anu, LOVE doesn't happen, whether u deserve or don't deserve... It just happens b4 even all the materialistic things cross ur mind... some times we would hv rejected some proposals during our teen age, hving our family back ground at the back of ur mind... But it doesn't mean, u don't like them ... they do cross our mind after ages too... But some feelings just cross all the hurdles n reach the climax... This is true love... sometimes true love also fails...sadly... but never DIE...

Hello Tanths,

Wonderful post and I must say that you are a fine writer.

Now, coming to your topic, I started watching MKAP because woman issues and rights are very close to my heart. I work in a women's shelter with real life women on a day to day basis. There are women who have been abused throughout their lives. These women deal with issues that I as a person cannot imagine or digest. We all like to keep our work and home life separate, but there are times when you cannot just look away or expect to hear the stories of these women and children and just say to yourself that it is just my job. The shelter is my second home and each of these women is very close to me. Anyways, I just wanted you to understand where I am coming from.

If you have read any of my posts, you might find them very direct and always condemning the thakur's including Krishna. Well, now I hope you understand why? I work with women who have been raped, battered, forced by their husband or boy friends into prostitution, molested by their own father or stepfather, utterly terrorizing in- laws and so many other types of issues.

I love the character of Pratigya and I watch it because of her fight for justice for women. I was greatly disappointed when she was compelled to marry a goon like Krishna. Well, Maybe I am the only person in the forum who really does not like Krishna and i despise the Thakur's. They are evil criminals and criminals are in no way or form entertain me. Unlike many here, I do not find them entertaining. They are the menace of the society and each of them should be punished and behind bars including Krishna and Adarsh.

Yes, I love Pratigya's character and I love her relationship with her dad. It's a wonderful relationship and I hope, I get to see their relationship more. I possess the same relationship with my dad and it is a treasure to me.

In the shelter the women are protected from their abusers and are educated about their actions. The simple thing is an abuser will never stop abusing, a rapist will rape again, it starts with one slap and it goes on. In simple words , your abuser will not stop until you take charge of your life and make him realize that he has no power on you.

I would like to end by saying that Pratigya has gone through a lot in that evil house and Krishna has betrayed her in every possible way. He does not deserve her and I am glad that she signed the divorce papers. She should never go back to that man . It's not worth it.

Who am I kidding ? She will definitely give in to his sweet talks and move back to the mad house.

Sorry for the long post, I am still holding on to the thought that Pratigya oneday will get financially independent and yes thanths I hate the fact that the thakur's are considered entertaining. They are pure evil and the way Krishna behaved with Prats , I believe that he is no different from them.

Anu

Hello Anu,

Thank You ...

You have said woman's issue..but which was the issue which made u watch and kept u watching ..

Have to disagree with few of your summation's but since this thread is not for dissection and discussion's of the serial..I have to refrain from offering my view's..😊

Beautiful, Mnsu..😊

But what was the hook that first attracted you...what you have said is about the fact what keeps u watching ..but what made u watch it in the initial stages...Was it Pratigya, Krishna, Thakur's or some scene ??

Hi Anu, Well I agree to each and every point that you have written here and the other post above.👏

The only reason I want to give Krishna one more chance so that he could redeem himself and he should show repentance for the serious follies that he committed, he should prove Pratigya's innocence in front of every one without wasting much time, I think he is man enough to do just that. If he fails to do that, for me his place in this serial is not even better then his Amma.😕

However I will never forgive him for letting the police drag Pratigya away in his presence 😡. I will also never forgive him for not listening to her pleas for so many weeks until a slap knocked him out of the state of denial that he was living in.😡

Samwa,

What drew you to the serial ?? You have not stated that and what keeps u to the serial ...?

About the show.. Well it's uniqueness and unpredictability is what compells me to post.
If I am quiet on the forum is either for bad health/being busy or sometimes I do not have a positive thought to post OR the when my funny bone has been granted a vacational leave.
About AB/K I a not am drooler over AB - Although he is unconventionally a very handsome guy with an incredible jawbone and lovely manly features.
K is the one that gets my attention for the way he talks etc.
Though the physical bulkiness needs to go - but his mental bulkiness keeps us ticking and tickled..
Carisma. xx

Honey Bun,

Hope u get well soon !! ** Hugs to u**

Sweets, You have said about the forum...would like to know what precise moment attracted you or what made you pause and not change the channel ... ur post explains teh reason for continued watching but not what stopped u from changing the channel..

Hello Thanths ,

I think I made it very clear that I watch Pratigya because of the women's issues that she has been supposedly trying to fight for and failing. To your answer about the spark which keeps me coming back is the hope to see Pratigya a financially independent woman and truely finding someone who deserves her.

Anu
