There are so many people unaware of this.... and you have done a grand job in making them aware and understanding.

Yes Carisma, Lots of people are unaware of Autism ..and some who are aware are aware of the word only and are not exactly aware what Autism is, its implication's....

Thank you.πŸ€—πŸ‘

I write this post with tears streaming down my face. 😭 For those of us as parents who are on this journey of raising children with autism in this lifetime, and a blessed one at that, believe me when I say few will understand what it means for us to know that people are finally awakening to the reality that these children do contribute to society in their own ways They are a gift to humanity and can teach us the truth about life. I can say with certainity my Baba has taught me more in this lifetime than I ever imagined possible. πŸ˜ƒ

Children with autism are the most humble, non-judgmental people you will ever meet. They are not driven by ego and competition and stay true to themselves. They may seem spacey and tuned out to the world around them. But more often than not, these children are hearing everything that's being said about them and around them. Their heightened senses in some areas makes it a challenge for them to stay connect to the world around them the way typical people do They can hear and see plenty ,more so than the average person They are often overwhelmed and trapped by the sounds and sights around them and unable to express themselves.

People can readily empathize with a person with a physical disability. Yet persons seen shaking their heads, flapping their arms in an attempt to make sense and cope in the noisy world around them earns them strange looks and sometimes hurtful labels. I didn't realize it until my Baba told me crying "they hurt my feelings" as we left the store.😭

People are beginning to accept autism as a reality more and more. A whole new generation of people with autism will soon be adults and functioning in the real world with the rest of us.

The next time you see someone with a disability, do make sure you give them a smile. You never know, you may well have made their day after all. πŸ˜ƒ

Wow !! Hats off to u Mitaly !! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘... Pls share some of ur experience ...

Thanx D:)
it was my plesure πŸ˜ƒ

I volunteer with age group age 5 to 7 .

It was little hard in the beginning but once I know their needs and they know me .

It become smooth for me .

They are very loving adorable kids who just need lots of attentions and love .

In Canada once the child diagnosis its given special attention to kids and parents

Like a special school , extra trained teachers, special school bus pickup for kids

In fact they are given all opportunities that normal child get , I can say they gets more .

Many activities under supervisions. Parents teaching communities and many resources

Where parents can share and learn about it

I was teaching them with my others staff to draw computer graphics and coloring pages.

I had wonderful memories they have though me alot about life.

I find they are very loving kids . πŸ˜ƒ

The love these children express comes with no expectations and that is beautiful. They find joy in the simplest things in life. πŸ˜ƒ

Mera,

Thank You ellam Yedharkku ...This is a small feeble gesture from my part ...

True ..I am waiting for the time, Acceptance will get translated into action....Like better infrastructure in place for both children and parents....

I often wonder how much governments could fund programs for people with disabilities and many other worthy programs instead of wasting hard earned tax payer money on building missiles and engaging in wars.
