Pratigya is hanging few saris in the closet *when did she wear that Mustard colored sari, I dont recollect seeing her in that recently* ..Krishna walks in , gives a look at her unconscious back * No reaction from her back, but then there usually no reaction from her impassive face either..so no big deal* walks to his queen [the bed] and sinks tiredly on it ..Pratigya closes the closet door, turns and spots Krishna sitting on the bed....She pauses for a second and moves very ,very slowly towards him , sits by him [giving a wide berth to him]..Krishna continues to ignore her........
The marriage state, with and without the affection suitable to it, is the completest image of Heaven and Hell we are capable of receiving in this life.
Pratigya clears her ivory throat, Krishna becomes aware of her existence but still maintains a stubborn silence ..Pratigya opens today's session with "If you need something, tell me !Krishna , whenever I go to my Mom's place , you begin to sulk [Krishna gets an angry look and gives a sideways glance full of displeasure ] Unaware Pratigya plods on "Why?? what wrong have I committed ??" Krishna retains the cold facade , undaunted Pratigya continues " If u dont tell me , How will I come to know what I shud do and what I shud not do ?? * Ask me, I will tell u ..I have memorized what he wants from u ..and will gladly reel of his expectation's * * A suggestion Pratigya, Record what he says ,[since u seem to suffer from memory loss] play it back at least a hundred time a day , may be , may be..u will remember his his needs, * ...A thoroughly exasperated Krishna gets up and away from Pratigya and in an irritated voice retorts " what to say?? what will happen even if I say something, At the most u will listen without interrupting, that's all ...[Looks at Pratigya in anger] but u will end up doing what u wanted to do in the first place, then what is the need for me to elucidate ?? [Pratigya lowers her eyes conceding the truth in his assertion's] ..This is ur house too, Think about this house too , if even a breeze blows in wrong direction [my own take] , then u dash off to ur Mom's place [A stricken look mingled with guilt and anger] ..And here I become the magnet attracting all the taunts and humiliation of the family members"..Krishna turns away from her in annoyance ...and unable to keep it into himself, he further rips "They leave a chance to deride u , Always they taunt me saying, ur wife doesn't make an attempt to fit in here and I dont like to listen to it , I cant bear it..I can stomach it if they taunt me,,,But I cant tolerate if they start on u , I just can not stand on it " ..Pratigya goes into damage control and approaches a fretting Krishna "What can I do, How can I keep away from my parents, when such tragic and horrifying things have happened ?".. A fretting Krishna elaborates further "I am not saying , dont go to meet ur parents esp when they need u * knowing Sax ,The need thingy will be forever*..But give a fleeting thought to this house too, even This is ur house , Good and bad happens here too [Uh-Oh] and if u really want , u can maintain the harmony and balance between the two houses , But you dont care about this house at all " Pratigya hastily intercepts with "I understood what u r saying*I refuse to believe U* I will not give any chance for u to complain * REALLY , for how long ..Perhaps until the next phone call from sax* A relieved and happy Krishna Appreciates Pratigya commends her saying " If u do that, it will be good for both houses" [Pratigya smiles]..It means I will be saved from having to hear Amma, Bauji's TLC..since u know the way they express it"..

A flash light light goes on in Krishna's brain , he gets chatty and confiding , Assuming a confiding tone,Krishna proceeds "we have got another chance to roam and have a great time, what do u say?"..A perplexed Pratigya asks him to expand further on this , An excited Krishna reveals "Shakhti and Aarushi are leaving on their honeymoon {Pratigya is surprised } so evenn we can go on our second Honeymoon..what say ??" ..* Pratigya has plenty to say, but CV's will not allow her to spoil the Kriya moment* [Pratigya is in her silent and slow processing mode} Impatient Krishna wants instant answer, Pratigya finishes Processing, Smiles and says in a soft tone " we understand each other so well, is there any need to go on a second Honey moon" * Really babes, U do have short term memory loss..weren't u saying just a few mins..how will I know if u dont open ur mouth and now U say I know u very well..Quite contradictory that* Krishna is easily thrown off tangent accepts what the oracle Pratigya has said is the truth says "anyways everyday, every moment spent with u is Honeymoon " ..Pratigya gives her inscrutable smile and leans on his chest and hugs him , Krishna returns the hug with a smile ...
