he took an open and shut case and without any cross examination, evidence or proof and on the basis of damaging evidence that actually gave the court motive for murder against his very obviously guilty client, HE WON THE CASE

then he approached a middle class orthodox family with a knife tongued matriach and proposed without giving any indication of his family, his background, the basis of his interest, his kundali or anything that an orthodox family would typically be extremely curious about prior to accepting a proposal from a newbie in town (based on one magically won case) and HE GOT THE GIRL

then he made a visit when the girl was alone (which in itself is very circumspect considering she would not go with him to a public place but agreed to allow him to be with her in her orthodox home without a chaperone and in close proximity to her nosyparker naeighbours) and spun her a line about tea and GOT THE GIRL TO FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM UNCONDITIONALLY AND GIVE HER UNDTING UNQUESTIONING LOYALTY TO HIM

now he is parading around town with the full knowledge that the girl's older sister has sighted him and his UFO several several times and HE STILL GETS AWAY SCOT FREE EACH TIME
