not that I blame u because I also wrestled with this ......I refused to even consider them.... went with a mid size Association Management firm and i'm now a staff controller producing financial statements for a bunch of not-for profits.....

follow your heart..... ignore what people may say is the proper career path / trajectory.... as an accountant, your options are limitless

hmmm...i think there is a lot of politics in BIG 4, they come meet you and say you will become partner in 10 years or so...I think that's BS. you have to be a big suck up to have them like you, and I don't suck up to anyone. lol.

my heart says work for a while for experience, and start doing own practice...I am doing tax and not audit.
