As many of you guys on this thread have aptly pointed out it is not that the people do not know about the law or what constitutes abuse or a crime

the problem is that solution that is being recommended is not trusted by the victims.

the show does not address the corruption within the legal system

today it showed the IG put his son in jail. Hats off to the IG👏👏👏👏. I say this frankly with no sarcasm

in real life the chance of this happening are remote

In small towns it is the family of influential people that callouslyand casually cross the line of legality and get away from the consequences with equal ease. the average person knows this so while they appreciate the fair play on screen they know its too good to be true.

When pratigya highlights social issues it starts a discussion but without proposing a suitable suggestion it leaves the discussion void of any positive value.

so instead of suggesting that this is a social drama or stating that it is effecting change, I would sugest that the younger members just enjoy it for its entertainment value.

if the show inspires one then instead of waiting for it to start a discussion on the forum or outside, let it inspire you to undertake social service activities. ACTION NOT MERE DISCUSSION will effect societal change. till then just talking about and badgering other members is not going to raise its status from a soap to a social change agent.

i really wish CVS could take 1 or 2 of ur suggestions and show them... i really want kesar out and starting fresh.. why even get married again after she rebuilds her life...and may be shakti cld never find a bride again...
all the issues ur pointed out were excellent.. pratigya's biggest blunder was to get married expecting that krishna will "listen" 2 her and change... for god sake he tried to kidnap you ( atleast thats what she thought ) what she expects he will reform after marriage.. it was her luck and not principles which has been saving her from getting raped, burned, electrocuted again and again... pure luck nothing else.....

i wish they wld stop showing her strutting around in her silk sarees with open hair and do nothing but cook and visit maiika....in that sense how is she different from kesar? only thing is may be she knows a thing or 2 about laws .. but at the end of the day both are living under the same roof... and eating out of same man's money..

Hope,
thanks for starting such a topic .. was much needed... the serial is really delusional...

honestly pallai if the CVs take any sensible solutions then this show might crash.😆

it is not the social issue hightlights but KRIYA that iskeeping the engine going😆😆😆

Hope,
I can live with that also where they just concetrate on the love story and not try to provide filmy solutions to highly sensitive social issue but then i don't see that also happening. if Kriya was the highlight then there love story should develop in a mature and logical way which i don't see happeneing. I just see Kriya being used as a filler.

guys kriya ROMANCE is the highlight

Kriya MARRIAGE is the filler I think😆😆 relationship issues are the filler.

today they show an issue briefly, he gets upset and tomorrow chummi and lipistick or babu and some new kink😆

Remember the havan incident, the FIR, the new homicide of the two brothers, the freeloader comment, the sagaai humiliation.... all family and relationship issues (like the social issues) end with a filmly romance sequence. Jai Ho!!!!!!! THEN a 100 posts flood the forum😍 Mission accomplished👏

next morning Arhaan's rank makes an ascending movement 👏⭐️and later TRPs follow👍🏼

yes I feel the social change🤣
or would I be remiss in saying the social networking effect😃

PS: I like Arhaan Bhel's personality and acting so I am very pleased that his rank goes up and the show is entertaining so I am pleased that the TRPs go up so that Star Plus keeps it on the air.

Couldn't agree more! Well said guys.

There is a fine line between giving characters a back story for characterization purposes and giving every character in a movie a complex back story, introducing every last character's overly complicated back story ..Lately that's been a drawback in MKAP. When it started, I was looking for K/P/SS characters to side with, and now when everyone and her sister's in-laws' story started having a reverse story, main characters have been sidelined!! . It makes it difficult for me to be sympathetic with any of the characters. There has been scenes on every characters and all characters are having unfinished story lines (or having story lines rushed just to fit into the track). It has started becoming sloppy. Whats up with CVs trying to show SS/K as dim-witted jokers.. 😡 Didnt they introduce them having strong views on ANYTHING. K was often shown having the better of Saxsena, who, despite his education and refinement, was no match for K's wit and street savvy. K's illiteracy may have spewed ridiculous approach of getting his things done, but that didn't make him dull.. he was sharp, his one-liners were spot-on , a trait that helped him handle bad situations to function where he lived. 'One foot cannot stand on two boats'. Now that the original theme has been reduced to rubble, let CVs focus on Kriya moment instead of just slotting it in for the heck of it!! K&P have a chemistry! It will at least not let us go cold, turning the current romance into the pure passion! not just chummi and lipstick 😲

No more baffling stories. SS, Amma, Shakti, Saxenas can join Tunna and Chandu to add more comedies. 😆 Let this 'failed soap theme' not die its own death.

Couldn't have said it better.

it is when this started happening that the originalty of the DRAMA died.

the shock and awe character of Krishna is so transformed that had it not been for Arhaan it would have been unrecognizable.

shefali, Kools and I did so many many many posts a few months back to bring some reasonableness to the tracks and to resurrect krishna but it was futile because we were not a recognized segment of the target audience.

so now we just stick around and seek light entertainment and indulge ourselves with satirical posts. surely there is no harm done then, eh?

did you see Kools posts Shameless Sajjan. It was hilarious😆

Fab post Shefali,
I agree with everything you say but this part was the best. It is so true when the drama started, Krsihna's character was street smart and his logic used to just baffle the educated sucksenas. And it used to bring a smile on my face and forced me to appreciate this street smart quality of his. Now days his character is made to act in such way that he ends up looking like an idiot illiterate full of arrogance in front of the educated clan. This just makes me angry and disgusted by his actions and the worst part is that the condescending nature of the educated clan towards him is quite obvious.
