Dadi talks about a pregnant bahu to the Mathurs but the bahu in question, Komal seems to have forgotten about it😲. Oops! that's what happens when you tell a lie. You got to tell a thousand more to cover up that one lie. Then she covers it up with some lame explanation about not remembering it bec' she didn't feel it in her tummy. The PC is watching her closely. Given the nature of his job he is about to question Komal about her statement but Aman stops him. Investigation abandoned for now. PC asks Shamu for confirmation of Komal as the bahu of the house. Shamu affirms but Komal takes offense and in her 👍🏼style challenges the honewala samandh of the family if he thought she was the maid in the family. Ouch! Show some basic manners, girl. Her insecurity is also showing.
PC asks Prof. if a police complaint has been lodged regarding the hit and run. Papa Mathur, the investigation will lead straight to your door. That damage to your car was caused when your son Jai Bro slammed into Adarsh. Your car driven by your son! We'd like to see what you do when you find out. Shamu says the police have still not found the person responsible for it. Gaurav doesn't miss the opportunity to take a potshot at his father in company "How can anyone commit a crime and get away with it when the area PC is my Dad? Mrs.Mathur is visibly embarrassed and there is awkward silence around the room. He shares a trait with Arushi of sticking his proverbial foot in his mouth. He seems to relish in insulting his father and host and embarrassing both men in one fell swoop😕. Prof. says he trusts the culprit will be found, he trusts law enforcement to get their job done.

Prats tearfully tells Krishna that Kesar made these clothes with so much love for her child but now she is devastated she will never be a mother. Krishna rejects the idea "my child will not wear these clothes." His insecurity rears it's ugly head "you think I can't buy new clothes for our baby?" he challenges Prats. Prats changes the subject to avoid an unnecessary argument with Krishna. She informs him "Aman and his family are visiting my family to finalize the marriage". Krishna takes offense "Such a big event is happening and sasurji didn't say a word about it. What does that mean? He is getting a new damadh and there is no value for the old one anymore right?" Prats explains "Papa called to invite us over but I turned it down given the situation at home" Krishna angrily says " Whatever the situation. I am your husband you should have at least asked me once" and storms out of the room. Baba your insecurity is getting stronger by the minute since you have been forced to face a few choice truths about your parents and it's mighty scary, isn't it? Why don't the Saxes want to invite Krishna over? Why didn't Prof. the sanskaari ask to speak to Krishna as it is usually done and ask him to come with Prats that evening? When it comes to Krishna all their sanskaar take a mini break. What is his crime? Loving your daughter and standing by her? Not good enough for you Saxes? Before you preach sanskaari practice it first, it will give you some credibility.
Arushi serves Mathur's refreshments and Jai Bro makes his appearance and Aman introduces him as the youngest and naughtiest Mathur. In their little corner paradise, Krishna is agitated and unable to sleep reaches for Prats. A very predictable move by Baba, and he got his way this time. He needs a few lessons in denial once in a while. He has been spoiled rotten as it is. Got that Prats!😕

The family waits with bated breath and after a few moments of suspense and a glance Aman's way Papa Mathur states his opinion. "I like Arushi, she is a good girl and like her family more particularly Shyamji. Children learn their sanskaars from their parents and the Prof. is an educated and respectable man. So consider this rishta pukka from our side". Uh, oh! Can you hear the warning bell ringing in your ears already? Back at the Niwas, Takurain and SS are looking at a bunch of photographs of prospective bahus…..yep the second Mrs. Katra Naresh. Who would have thought that his parents actually think he would be such a catch that being married once just wasn't enough! Katra Naresh walks in and they give him a stack of photos to pick his prospective bride. KN assures them he will give them an Takur heir but this time it will be a bride of his choice. SS tells him to go ahead with his second chance at marriage. KN shows his parents a photograph with a smug smile on her face. SS and Amma are smiling hinting at a sinister plan on their minds. Was that a picture of Arushi that he just held up to his parents? Gosh! Please no! Why does it feel like something terrible has just taken root and all hell is about to break loose affecting three dysfunctional families? What are RED up to this time in the name of marriage and assuring an heir is born? The only thing that assuring at this point is that Kesar is still in the house and Prats and Krishna will stand by her and help her fight back against the atrocious acts committed by the Takurs against her all these years.
