HIGHLIGHTS: For those who are averse to reading looong posts.
It's curtains up for another dysfunctional family, the Mathurs. Aman gets Papa Mathur's permission and informs Shamu he's coming over with his family to meet the Saxes. Takurain has verbal diaherria and reveals her multiple personality disorder. SS tells his wife and KN that they were responsible for the present situation. Kesar resigns herself to a incomplete life, with longing and unfulfilled dreams.
DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY # 3 – MATHURS

You are about to be introduced to a new dysfunctional family. It's Aman Mathur's family. His bhabhi Nandhini approchaes him "what's the situation here? You look very excited". As he is about to answer his Mummy arrives "She's right. You look very different today, very happy. Something happen?" Jai takes a few moments from his busy schedule playing video games and says "Looks like you may have been made it as session court judge, that's why you are so happy". Jai Bro! You'd better wish he doesn't! Or you may be counting bars for your hit and run courtesy of your brother Aman. "You don't argue too many cases as it is so the courts decides to make you a judge, then it's just order, order, right bro". Gaurav, the angry Mathur is pretending to browse through a copy of "IDOLS OF THE WORLD" while he listened to the ensuing conversation in the room with a thoughtful look on his face. Is that a hint that he doesn't idolize his father? 😕Aman tells his Mom "it's actually good news. But I thought once Dad gets here I'll tell everyone in one go". Right on cue, left, right, left right, eyes right, here comes Papa Mathur, Police Commissioner of Allahabad.

He glances at Gaurav as he approaches his wife and without a greeting gets right to the point "who took my car? Respectfully Aman says "Dad forget about anyone taking your car, no one would even have the courage to touch it". Papa Mathur replies "So if you didn't take my car,who did? Do you know who damaged it badly?" Aman suspiciously turns to look at Jai Bro who pauses his video games chewing on his lips for a moment his attention on the ensuing conversation. Gaurav in a condescending tone tells his father "He's the PC of Allahabad. He has solved big cases, keep tabs on the entire city so why doesn't he find out who damaged his car all by himself"? Aman diverts the conversation after a few moments of awkward pauses from the members of the family "Dad, what are we talking about, I have come with good news. Actually I met Shyam uncle today, I told him we are coming very soon to meet them to finalize the alliance". The women in the house are happy and give their assent when Papa Mathur asks "Fine, will tomorrow be fine for everyone?" Gaurav the angry Mathur cuts in "if you say it's fine then it will be fine wouldn't it? What 's the need to ask all of us". Aman and the ladies look about awkwardly not saying anything to Gaurav who leaves the room in a huff. Why is this guy so angry and disrespectful of his father? Hey dude! Did you get out on the wrong side of the bed? So much bitterness in your words too! Mummy Mathur sighs heavily and Nandhini looks in dismay. Lady, you have a sore bear for a husband. You look like a sweet young thing. Papa Mathur taps Aman on the shoulder "ok, let's go see the one you like". The ladies of the house are pleased. They probably think Aman has found the perfect bride.😲
DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY # 2 – SAXSENAS

It's a clear sunny day in Mumfordgunj. Nainaji brings breakfast for Adarsh. He tells his mother with Komal hanging around him 24/7 what was the need for her to take care of him. Nainaji says she will take care of him as Komal needs her rest as an expectant Mom. When Nainaji leaves Adarsh says to Komal "these people are so nave, that they believe anything as the gospel truth. Adarsh that statement is loaded. There may be more than a kernel of truth in that statement than you realize. Your Papa is ready to get Arushi married into a family he knows nothing about. They seem to be as dysfunctional family but will your sister be able to handle the tension in that household we got a glimpse of at first glance. "You shouldn't have lied to them especially about being an pregnant, when they find out they are going to be heartbroken". Komal gets defensive "Why are you scolding me, how would I know you'd be in an accident and we wouldn't get a chance to turn this lie into the truth. I didn't mean to lie, so say something." Komal, you were so confident and sure you'd be pregnant so soon? Adarsh gives her the silent treatment and Komal feels remorseful.

It's breakfast time at the Saxes. Arushi answers a call from Aman "its time to bind ourselves in a relationship, you still have time if you want to change your decision". Attorney Aman is this your version of "speak now or forever hold your piece"? Here is your chance Arushi, take it. You don't know this dude at all. Your convos have been about chai and coffee and disturbed sleep. Not much to go on given what little you know of him or his family. Remember when you family the man you marry the family too. "Later on don't tell me you were forced". Arushi teases "Wow you seem to be a principled man." Yeah, right! Okay we buy it. But why does that sound like a warning bell for you to heed, girl? Shamu takes the phone from Arushi and continues his convo with his damadh wannabe. Aman asks for his permission to bring his family to meet the Arushi and Saxes later that evening. Prof consults with Dadi and Nainaji and gives Aman the green light. Arushi shyly listens as Shamu chuckles gleefully. Warning: Floods are expected to hit Mumfordgunj in the near future due to the sighting of the pearl whites of Mr. Shyam. Hopefully the flooding warning will not have to be raised to tsunami levels.
DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY # 1: THAKURS

At the Niwas the family has congregated at the dining table. Takurain turns on the water works to accompany her theatrics. "God has done a terrible wrong to Sakthiya" she laments. SS watches her fully aware she is on a roll hell bent on being Drama Queen at breakfast table. Prats and Krishna watch in silence and disbelief at what they are hearing. Now that she had a full audience in attendance around the table the Takurain continues "I am thinking of Sakthiya, he won't have anyone to give him water". Ganti Dadi's face openly expresses her disgust given the secrets she has become privy to recently. SS tells Takurain "chapter over what ever was going to happen, happened. Just bec' Sakthibo can't become a mother don't conclude that SS's future generations wont' live on, we'll have to find a way, understood?" Krishna is looking on with sadness in his eyes. Day by day his eyes are being slowly open just a fraction to let the light of truth in, one that he must face like it or not. Is his sadness for the lack of empathy for his bhabhi from his family or is it sadness that SS's dreams of grandparenthood had been squashed b a cruel and vengence act by the very woman who gave birth to him along with the brother he grew up with? Ganti Dadi expresses curiosity at her son's statement. She sure would like to know what her son has up his sleeve this time. KN is curious. Prats is filing away his statements for future reference. Prats you are going to need it when a whole motherload of truth come crashing around you and Krishna about RED's evil plans. SS turns to Takurain "Now shut up and eat". Not satisfied with her short performance she continues "How can I eat, it won't get past my throat". SS has had enough of her dramabaaz. He asks her "so should I take a stick and shove the food down your throat? Takurji, that will accomplish two tasks at once, shut her up and feed her too. Krishna looks exhausted at all the notanki. He'd much rather be anywhere but at that dining table this morning.

With a lull in the conversation Prats asks Piasiya where Kesar is. She pours a glass of milk to take to Kesar when the Takurain stops her "did the milk come from your mother's place? You think milk runs like the Ganges river in this house? SS and KN are watching her tirade with disgust and curiosity while Ganti Dadi watches Takurain with a furious look. "Leave it right there. Sakthi will drink the milk, it's for him, not for you". Baba who was watching all this in silence was making mental notes. Add that one too to the bag of reality checks. First she refused to feed you and your wife. Now it's apparent Prats will not get a glass of milk. Yo, Takurain, if the milk is not flowing like the Ganges in your home, and the supply is limited how come you didn't think twice and actually salivated at the idea of pouring boiling milk on Prats's hand a few days ago out of spite? Baba if you only knew this woman was ready to waste milk just so she could hurt Prats! The list keeps growing. The overfed bayl KN is enjoying this moment of attention from his mother. Like he needs another glass of milk! As Krishna once said to his mother when she asked him to have a glass of milk. "hum konu bayl nahi ki buddhi ko moti dar dein". What KN needs is a few days of fasting to bring his arrogance down a few notches.😡 Prats spoke up "I'm taking it for Kesar, so does that mean she too doesn't get milk anymore? Good move Prats! Expose Takurain's evil deeds against her bahu to SS. Takurain says bitingly "If you don't understand it in one language I will teach it to you in a different way.What does she mean by that? She is going to beat Prats?😲 "If I told you no once, then the answer is no. Put it down. Take plain breakfast for your sister". She says with venom in her words "She's taking milk for her". Prats looked back at her in silence and unable to deal with it Takurain stung back "what are you looking at". Conscience pricking at you, Takurain? Even SS is looking on in disgust but does nothing to stop her tirade. She is out of control, a loose cannon, like someone who escaped the cuckoo's nest. The hatred in her eyes was distressing. It will be no surprise if this woman finally ends up in the loony bin one of these days when she snaps like a rubberband stretched too fast, one too many times.
Papa Shamu calls Prats to invite her to join the family when Mathurs come later that day. Prats gracefully declines the offer, opting to take care of Kesar instead. She conveys her good wishes to her Papa and Arushi. Bravo and Kudos Prats! Alrightey! You have finally turned down an invitation from maike that too for a happy family event. Krishna quietly leaves the dining table without a word. A whole day and not a word from Krishna? Which could only mean one thing. He is gathering evidence, reflecting, processing and filing it all away for the right moment to barrage the family with it when the time is right. Good choice Baba! It doesn't pay to say a word to them, Takurain is like a vulture ready to prey upon any one at a moment's notice.

Prats walks in to see Kesar holding baby clothes in her hands. She tells Prats "I don't have the good fortune of becoming a mother so I want to give them to you. It wil be useful for your kids". Prats accepts it and tells her "I can understand what is going on in your heart right now. I also know what how a woman feels when she knows she can never be a mother all her life". Did Prats have a family member who had such an experience before for her to really understand Kesar's plight? She herself is too young and inexperienced in these matters to really understand Kesar's pain and grief due to the recent violent way she lost her child.

Kesar tells Prats "Leave it alone, there is nothing to be got from this. I made these clothes with a lot of longing for my baby to be. Do you know I started making them when I knew I was pregnant? Thought as my baby grows in me for 9 months I will make them. But this has been incomplete like my wish. I will live an incomplete woman. You fulfill this wish someday." Dreams squashed and resignation to life but shows her courage and strength of character to do it.

Prats tells Kesar "I understand I should not say such things to you under the circumstances. These people have done you a terrible wrong and you have forgiven them so easily. It's been just a couple of days and these people's regrets have already been gone for good. These are heartless people. Forgive me for saying this but you shouldn't have withdrawn the case against them". Prats, Kesar forgave them bec' that was the only way she could move on in her life, for forgiveness has nothing to do with the other person, it's to free onself from the pain and hurt of the experience.

Kesar asked "What would have happened from that Prats? Can I become a mother again by teaching these people a lesson? No. What happened happened. What harm has come upon me will not get any benefit from punishing them? In my life there will never be happiness. Just sadness and regrets, I have to accept it even if I don't want to bec' I can never become a mother. You also accept this Prats". Sad but so much truth and acceptance in Kesar's resigned words today! Prats cries in silence.

Takurain offers KN a glass of milk. She doesn't miss another opportunity to let her jealousy and hatred surface. "Maharani wants to take a glass of milk to her didi. Watering a fruitless tree will not make it bear fruit. She doesn't know that." SS snaps at her "There is a lot of crap spilling from your lips today knowing fully well that both of you, both mother and son are responsbile for this. I was on the verge of becoming a grandfather lost it bec' of you. KN speaks up" how are you making me responsible for this? You know what she was going to do, all this happened bec of it. Otherwise I am not interested in such thing don't blame me". Since when you mean old bear, you didn't give up a chance to beat her any chance you got. SS turned back to KN "I know when to stop beating or you would not be sitting here today neither will your mother be reveling in her motherhood. You and your mother got together and did this. It's a crime, murder". Amma gives a look of disgust as if to shirk off the truth in SS's words and looks at KN. The wheels in her head have been turning since the doctor's report came y'day. She is probably making plans to bring another Takurain into the house as KN's wife. This Takurain and KN should never be classified among homo sapiens. There should be a new category to classify them who neither have a moral compass nor a conscience that is the hallmark of a human being.
Preview: Adarsh asks Komal "Tell me something. What vehicle did Aman's family come in? What color or kind of car was it? How will I know that? But I can tell you the color of that car. Adarsh nods his head waiting. After what he told Komal today about his family being nave and believing something without reason or explanation we think Adarsh may throw a wrench in the wedding plans for Arushi. Or will he keep mum for the moment knowing Komal has vowed to make the person pay for hurting him?
