A tepid Tuesday episode! Krishna and Prats entertained Chandu, Komal's attempt to entice Adarsh failed while Senior Saxsenas were horrified at their bahu's makeover. Krishna got a free scalp massage courtesy of Ganti Dadi and Katra Naresh had Arushi in his clutches in plain sight of the family but no one noticed.
Katra Naresh told Chandu who had come to pay a visit to his dost Krishna to get lost. Gantilal rebuked KN and gestured to Chandu to come in just as Krishna sauntered in to meet his friend. Prats extended an excited welcome to Chandu and brought him some naastha and chai. Krishna noticed the glaring looks KN sent Chandu's way. Intimidated by KN, Chandu asked Prats if she was scared of living in the Niwas. Prats assured Chandu there was no reason for her to be scared when Krishna was there for her. Krishna was miffed. Chandu relayed the titbits he had heard at the hospital about Prats bringing Krishna back to life by the power of true love. You may not like it Baba, but it's the truth and soon you will be glad she did.😉 Krishna and Prats let their eyes do the talking as meeya and beebi engaged in a mini staring contest. Prats could see that Krishna was not happy listening to her praises.
Senior Saxsenas were glad Komal was outgrowing her self-centered ways and thinking about Adarsh these days. Komal had gone shopping for Adarsh and that pleased them. Doesn't take much to please them. Wait till you see what she's got planned for Adarsh babu, your sanskaari brains are going to go into shock😲. Komal waited for Adarsh's return home in their candlelit bedroom intending to create a romantic mood. She eagerly posed for her patidev who failed to stifle his chuckle and laughed at her attempts to please him. This was the first time we had seen Adarsh show a variety of emotions in such a short time.😲 Hurt and disappointed at his reaction, Komal decided to take it to the Saxsena Court of Appeals and lodge her complaint. 😡
Dadi was horrified at Komal's outfit while Nainaji looked embarrassed at her bahu's appearance but Shamu's face was just priceless with his signature pareshaan and shocked look. Prof. you teach at a University, so why the shock at seeing a young woman in a dress?😕 How did he manage to avoid all those movie posters plastered all over town on his way to the University?😲 Did he really sire three children? 😲 Innocent Komal complained to her sasural that their son looked at ghundhi (translated: scantily dressed models) pictures, watched English movies and made fun of her makeover. Seriously, which century did you grow up in Komal? Prof. assured Komal that Adarsh was not making fun of her. but didn't give her any explanations either. How did he know that? Has he changed his ways of giving a mini-baashan at the drop of a hat now? Your son was for the first time laughing at something and that too at his wife's appearance after she attempted to please him. Not nice dude! 👎🏼
Dadi defended Adarsh's sanskaari ways and love of reading. Komal wanted the elders in the family to tell Adarsh to stop watching English movies. What?😲 To avert the situation from getting more awkward Prof. told Adarsh to take his wife back to their room.
A barber was giving KN a shave right in the main hall of the house. Prats and Arushi are pounding something with a large wooden stick. Arushi was relieved, ready to pack her bags and return to the safety of her green house and away from the big bad wolf. At Arushi's mention of returning to her home at daybreak with the arrival of bauji and Amma, KN got a nick from the barber's blade for his gundhi thoughts. However the barber was rewarded with a thappad from the angry Takur.
Dadi was hugging Arushi when Krishna walked in and wanted to know what the heck was going on in the house. No surprises there as to why Baba was confused. Smacking and not hugging was the norm in his family when it came to expressing affection. Krishna asked Ganti Dadi to set her bell aside for a couple of minutes before he handed her a bottle of oil and asked her to give him a scalp massage. Baba leads a charmed life, doesn't he? He has someone to do his bidding just so he gets to live his princely lifestyle. What a treat it was to catch a glimpse of the old Baba once again! He told Ganti Dadi she was wiling away her time doing nothing. Look who's talking, Baba! A good dose of projection eh? Baba had the perfect solution, Ganti Dadi was going to make herself useful and give him a scalp massage.😆 He handed Gantilal a bottle of oil and got comfortable.😃 But Dadi had other plans.😕 She returned the bottle and gestured him to ask his beebi to give him a scalp massage instead. Prats was pleased at Dadi's suggestion😳 but Baba wasn't.😕 He shot a glance at Prats before he smooth talked Dadi into giving in, saying that there was no match for her magic fingers. Pyar ki khel has truly began😳 In the not too distant future Baba is sure to change his tune. Mazaa aa gayi. A double entendre! The look in his eyes was priceless. Of course he was enjoying the massage and also sticking it to Prats. Badmash!😛
Adarsh tried to explain his way out of this one with Komal. He wasn't making fun of her he was just flabberghasted bec' he had never seen her in anything other than braids and bright lipstick. He also explained his love for English movies were limited to children's cartoons. Are you kidding me?😲
KN finally got Arushi in his clutches in the kitchen within plain sight of family members but everyone else were engaged in doing their own thing. Interrupted by Ganti Dadi's bell KN released her with the warning that there was more to come. No way! It's time for the big bad wolf to get lost.
Preview: Wham! The troubling making Takurs return home with mean maid Piasiya in tow. They are welcomed by the sight of Arushi giving Katra Naresh his prasad from the jootha off her feet. Aurath, paer ke jhooten hai, takes on a new meaning this time, as the Takurs are going to learn tomorrow.
P.S: Seems the main open hall in the Niwas is where everything happens, from SS brushing his teeth, to Kesar and Amma cleaning grains, to Prats and Arushi pounding something, KN getting a shave and Krishna getting a scalp massage and not to forget Ganti lal relaxing and ringing her bell.
What? No blender or grindersin the affluent home of Takurs? How come? 😲
Krishna and Prats have reached a new level of intimacy, they let their eyes do all the talking.😳 It's a whole lot easier to communicate their true feelings this way with no room for misunderstandings😳. Baba dislikes patar-patar anyways.😆
The best moment of the show today was Krishna asking his Dadi to give him a scalp massage and the look he shared with Prats after he said "maaza Aa gayi". KN's reign of terror is finally over and the big bad wolf is going to get his just rewards tomorrow. Will Arushi give Aman info. about the Takurs when the time is right for him to fix the errors of the ways of the troublesome Takurs?
We finally got some answers to the questions about Adarsh. This kid loves watching English cartoon movies. Was Tom and Jerry his favorite or was it the Chipmunks? Are Adarsh and Komal for real? They were behaving like pre-teens. Grow up, you two!😕
