I have a growing conviction that the Thakur's have become a family of vampires, all their activites seem to happen only at night ....😆
Pratigya walks into the bedroom ruminating about the days events and spots the Sun,Moon ,Stars and the whole universe of her life indulging in the mundane task of re arranging the pillows and cushions...The Sun,Moon,Stars and whole Universe detects Pratigya's presence and his face goes as if he has just been forced to drink a litre of Karela juice.😆..
Pratigya goes up to Krishna and starts talking about the sudden declination of Kesar's health ...Krishna is supremely uninterested and is not even looking at her [Guilt,baba..Guilt...beebi ko akeli mandir mein chodne ka guilt]..Now everything is alright, she is resting [Did Krishna ask?? ..really sometimes this girl is maha dumbo ]..now the peripheral talks are over..she comes to her main grouse..Pratigya asks Krishna "Why didn't you come to the temple ?? [Krishna becomes uncomfortable and gets even busier arranging his pillows and bedsheets]...*Guilt is a powerful thing..he looks everywhere except at her* "I requested and pleaded with u, even if you had come only for a second" [Krishna gives a sarcastic look] "When U did go out of the house,U could have come to the temple for a little while, at least ur presence would have made the pooja successful [Krishna is getting impatient ] * Pratigya , cant you see the smoke emanating from his nostrils and ear, leave it dear ,before he singes U* ...Krishna has finally had enough ...He decides to fire ... [ Uh-oh .. Pratigya is transported to minefield, she can step wherever she wants, it will still explode ] ..Krishna has decided to begin the explosion...he starts reasonably enough " when I told you I couldn't come then [gnashes his teeth] then I couldn't come ..So drop the matter right there !!" Pratigya is silenced, Krishna continues his explosion "Stop being a nagging wife, " {Tears well up Pratigya's eyes} ..Krishna immediately looks down [Beta ! If you love her so much, why do u make hr cry ? ]..
Pratigya gives a sad smile and responds "by saying this you have brushed off my feelings and love so easily " [weren't you doing the same thing a few months back, now the tables are reversed, u cant bear it ] [Krishna is getting agitated] "I just wanted u to be happy and I kept this fasting for ur well being , but "...Krishna nods his head sardonically ,rejoins "Yes !! U are the only one person in the world who is capable of understanding love and affection perfectly [in a scorn filled voice ], Just tell me one thing..don't you get tired of lying constantly ,don't ur eyes get tired of shedding crocodile tears,each thing and every word of ur's is a lie , everything is a masquerade, a pretense" * The ball is lobbed to Pratigya's court *..Pratigya shakes her head says "Ur anger and ur attitude is acceptable, I knew you suffered a lot bec of me !! BUT I am not pretending ,neither are my feelings a sham "..Krishna has had enough ..he just whisks off the quilt , gets up and walks up to her delivers some scorching words "The betrayal that you have given can only be given by a heartless/shameless woman... Pratigya is shocked ..."Be grateful that I am allowing u to stay here, so stay here and redeem ur misdeed, Just keeping one or two fasting will not exonerate you from your wrongdoings * he says this with such a surge of anger that u really feel the amount of pain he is hiding * ..He continues to glare at her and still angrily he walks out of the room....Pratigya looks on after him .....
[pt 1..never ever point an accusatory finger at a guilty man/woman..they will go on the offensive ..Pt2...Never ever highlight another person's mistake when u urself are living in a glass house ]
This was quite an interesting segment ...for now it is quite clear that Pratigya has stated her love quite openly but Krishna refuses to buy that and also he is thinking all this new softy , caring behavior as a sham ...and an insult to his love....and his agitation and his refusal to meet her eyes when she was going on about the pooja denotes a level of guilt , but why does he feel so ? bec underneath all he still considers her his own, and he knows that he has let her down,,,his anger and his conscience may have rejected her but his emotions and his heart have not ...she still rules them, and he is emotionally bound to her,,when the conscience is dominant he sends one nuke missiles after another, intending to break her down, wound her ..but one drop of tears..his emotions take over and he is incapable of firing..he wants to console her but doesn't want to , he wants to care for her but doesn't want to show that he cares ....he is a guy torn between two emotion's ..Anger and love ..
Pratigya too is rent by guilt, she has realized that she is responsible for his current condition and the only way she can compensate is by taking it on the chin with good grace ...She knows perfectly well that this relationship can be salvaged only when the bitterness,anger flows out of Krishna's heart ...He has to come out his hell and for that she has to be the punching bag,a buffer and a safety net ..and she is ready for that !! this is also her way of re-paying all the hurt she had given him directly or indirectly.
Pratigya is sitting on the chair and dozing off...in walks Krishna,she feels his presence and opens her eyes but does not lift her head , Krishna comes in takes a casual look at her "Are you sleeping?" ....Pratigya ...No ! Why do U ask [Such a typical Hubby-wifey dialogue 😃 ] ..
Krishna with a slightly mocking look.."No, just like that...you were starving the whole day ,did u have something or are you sleeping without having anything " [Baba cant hide his concern]
..Pratigya.."No I have not eaten"..on hearing this Krishna has a momentary soft countenance, he is discomfited and there is a slight pang of pain he turns and heads towards the kitchen,The slow processor lights up now and wonders why he asked, she stares after him ..and prepares to nod off again...enters Krishna with a plate of rice and bowl of Dal...There is a calculative look in his eyes , a ruthlessness, certain coldness ...Pratigya looks on in surprise..but Krishna's face though looks soft , his eyes are hard as stones, and are spitting fire,
Krishna says "he wants her to do one more thing for him",
Pratigya "what do you want me to do " [Jump off a cliff !!]
..Krishna lays the plate down ..and tells her to eat ..Pratigya is happy ...overjoyed she sets herself to do justice to the food but Krishna stops her ...pours the daal on the rice, mixes it himself giving her an unfathomable look ,after mixing pushes the plate towards Pratigya and tells her to eat * brief eyelock* and when Pratigya lifts the spoon, he stops her again,gives her a hard stare and takes out the chilli powder ..pours it over the rice and mixes it all the while giving her piercing and challenging glances..having mixed it he sends it towards Pratigya and tells her to eat it..Pratigya gives a stupefied and disbelieving look with a hint of pain ..while Krishna's is full of anger and challenge and hurt and grimness.....Pratigya feels that if this will give Krishna happiness, then she will eat it 😲😲....she gives a smile and takes the plate , begins to eat all the while maintaining an eye contact..Krishna looks on stunned and flabbergasted , and there is an inner glow [the all encompassing glow of LOVE perhaps ] in the eyes of Pratigya ...Pratigya continues to eat ..
Krishna is beginning to feel regret , it is obvious he is hurting more, she might be eating chillies but he is burning seeing her torment..he tries to control himself, stops himself from saying anything by pressing his lips....This has clearly affected him ,,he tears his gaze away from her ..and his eyes fill with pain but he still is not sufficiently moved enough to forget ...He has met his match in deewanapan...after all soul mate hai..😆
Pratigya comes into the bedroom with a cup of tea, keeps it on the coffee table ..bends towards Krishna and tries to wake him up by tenderly running her hands thru his hair [Poor lass, she can touch him only when he is sleeping ] ..she tells Krishna to get up ..Krishna wakes up in a confused state and looks at her in a sleepy daze ..., she continues"Get up, morning has come , get up and have a hot and refreshing Tea and begin a glorious day " [Is she talking to her hubby or to a small fractious child ]
Krishna looks on dumbfounded..Pratigya goes to the cupboard and takes out his clothes and says it is time to have the medicines , so get up pronto and have a hot water bath , in the mean time she will get medicines and pills ,,,picks the quilt and stuffs it in the cupboard ..and inquires whether he wants anything else ..No reply from Krishna ..she prattles on saying that she will prepare Besan ka Halwa , cos he loves sweets [Mera's long lost bosom brother 😃] gives a ravishing smile and leaves the room...All this while Krishna will be looking at her puzzlingly never once taking his eyes off her, following her from one corner to another , never uttering a word and he continues to lie there quietly....Krishna is a deep one..can never predict what he will do next ..will he ignore her,provoke her, or begin to search for the reason for her changed behaviour .....WHAT IS RUNNING THRU HIS HEAD ??
