Where art thou Krishna?

Krishna was introduced in the serial as a person who is not just a spoilt brat but one who knows how to weild the power that he is born into. Even rogues and eve teasers know the powerhouse that is Krishna Singh and are wary of him.Including Angad and his goons dare not mess with Pratigya when they kidnap her. He is also shown as a man who has strong ethics even though he is not educated. He keeps his promise once he gives it.He is also shown as a thinking individual as shown when he tells his elder brother that just a huge house in marble doesn't make it a home and terrorising people does not show respect before he got married.

Now as he comes back from the brink of death this thinking person with strong thoughts is made to look like a stubborn child with his favourite toy taken away from him. A brush with death and responding only to his lady love's voice and returning to the living would have made a person like him react and respond to his wife for whom he has fought with the god of death as well in a different manner. Building a story around this would have been more challenging than the way the producers of the serial are showing. That would have kept the old Krishna posing challengers which Pratigya would have had to acknowledge however tough and thereby kept it going with a lot of super charged emotions.

This new way of showing Krishna with all his wings clipped is making the serial look as though it is on the way of joining all the other serials too - ordinary and the usual twists and daughter-in-law torture stories. Where is the Krishna who was the fire brand and could recognise the firebrand that is Pratigya and fought against all forces to be with her? Or is it only me who is thinking this way?
