After watching tonight's episode, it is very clear that Krishna is easily misunderstood by people. He is one individual who has been facing betrayls of one type or another all his life. But, the difference between others and Krishna is that , Krishna believes in taking action and that too immediately. Be it his father or mother who dotes on him come to that matter any other family member has never been able to get near Krishna as Pratigya has done without her knowledge. He is tha tkind of a person who once he gives his trust dos so completely. Since the marriage of the two and his reaction to the professor going behind bars it is interesting to note that Krishna is actually giving out indications that he 'd like to move with the times. He is not just smitten by Pratigya or her family, he truly realises that they are exactly how he 'd like to have his family to be but with more back-bone.
Remember how he tells Komal roughly that his mother and Kesar bhabhi haven't got any thing by marrying into the Thakur household? And he even tells his Shakthi Bhai that stones and marbles don't make a home and he 'd realised this long back.
Well, the first betrayal is from his father who has not sent him to school and has discouraged education entering the house. Krishna must have understood this and secretly craved for the brothehood that education gives. Yet, he has not gone against his father as he has everything at his command.
The second betrayal is again from his father and guru ma whom he trusts and brings in to help him. He does not realise that guru ma would use the trump card of caste to get him married. Everyone at home agrees for the election and ministership none for the fact that their son is truly in love. The day he understands this I wonder what his reaction will be.
Third betrayal is from Pratigya herself. Agreed that the way Krishna went about getting her was wrong. But once she takes the decision to marry him, she must live with it and truly live right. No I am not supporting abuse or harrasement. But tough decissions in life call for tough compromises and one has to live with them.Coming back,She does get to know the truth about Krishna not beating Nithin and not kidnapping her. Then instead of going to him and telling him the truth (the serial would have been more challenging
and realistic then) she keeps quite. No husband and wife can ignore the little messages that they send. Krishna reads her body language right and understands there is something.Pratigya does not see the trust in his eyes at all. She does not even remember all the instances that he has supported her since marriage-not changing her name to Kesar's rescue and support him when he asks for the truth. She refuses to believe that he can be trusted all because he is an illiterate? How many educated husbands support their wives as Krishna does hey?
Krishna does try to solve the problems as he deems to by going to the root of it. As we seaw today. No wonder he is so angry that Pratigya does not trust him to at least inform him about the slap and arrest. If Pratigya makes up her mind she can truly change Krishna to a much stronger man who does have a lot of pro women ideas. Only he goes about it crudly.
Hope the producers of the show look into this matter and show it . Men like Krishna are complex as they have a very tough deal in life. But here he has given indications that he'd like to be different every step of the way.And yes, Pratigya is the one whom he trusts a lot. If he does get to know about the kidnap, he 'll not react like other men. He has complete trust and faith in his wife. Will the producers of the show show this and not betray Krishna themselves is the major question.
