hey evryone...i just thot of some films i had seen which portrayed characters like our krishna(grey-shaded multilayered characters) in the lead roles..... wished to share with u... all the films had been biggest blockbusters....😉😉😉😉
1. the most striking and the most awsum film wich shud come frst in this list is TERE NAAM where the character of radhe(played by salman khan) was so close to that of krishna....
radhe..fell in love with nirjara innocently...he acknowledged his love for her...bt wen she rejected him just becoz he was a GUNDA...he tried to cnvince her gently.... she cnstantly insulted him.... ultimately her ignorance reached his tolerance limit and he bursted...he kidnapped her.....took her away to some hidden place where he wud at least have her on her own..... nirjara oviously was shocked and shattered.....bt wen she tried to thnk with her heart and nt her brains...she realised how much he loved her...... that grl gave her life at the end...becoz she cudnt evn thnk of marrying someone else...except radhe.....
2.the second film to come to list is KARAM....(john abraham)... he was a gangster.....bt in each and evry action of him...till the end...he proved that he was a passionate lover..... he gave his life to save the person he loved..... and the grl dedicated her whole life to him and his love.....
3. then comes GANGSTER.....wich is a strikingly unique love story.... in this film we got to see that the so called saviors of the society, the so called GENTLEMEN were in reality cheaters and frauds...they played with a grl's emotions.....used her dreams and her weaknesses and cheated her..... do u remember that dialogue of kangana? "ganster wo nhi, ganster tumlog ho....." this was soo touching......😭 the word ganster had been used ironically in the whole film...... this film also gave out this msg...that a man with a gun cannot be always a ganster while a suited booted gentleman cn be a real ganster frm his heart.......
4. Deewar------This superhit film of the '70s told the story of a dockworker (played by Amitabh) who goes on to become a dreaded underworld don. A known fact perhaps but Deewar is said to be based on the life of Haji Mastan, the legendary Mumbai underworld don. Insiders even insist that Bachchan went to meet Mastan to study his mannerisms. Cast: Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Nirupa Roy, Neetu Singh and Parveen Babi
5.Agneepath--------- He may have played an outcast in many films before this. But it was only after Deewar that Amitabh did a full-length gangster flick in the form of Agneepath. His role was supposedly based on the Maharashtrian gangster Manya Surve. The film bombed at the box-office, especially since Bachchan had also tried to copy the man's voice. Produced by Yash Johar and directed by the late Mukul S Anand, the film did win a lot of awards.
Cast: Amitabh Bachchan, Mithun Chakraborty, Madhavi, Neelam and Danny Dengzongpa
6.Company-------
This one, again by RGV, fictionalised the rise and fall of the haloed D-Company. It also traced the fallout of Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Rajan (played by Ajay Devgan and Vivek Oberoi respectively) and the effect it had on the Mumbai underworld. It was possibly for the first time that a real-life police officer was fictionalised so well in a film. Mohanlal played D Sivanandan, the man who many hold responsible for the downfall of Dawood in Mumbai.
7.Vaastav----------
Mahesh Manjrekar's Vaastav was allegedly based on the true-life story of Chota Rajan. Sanjay Dutt played the lead role. The film, it was said, was partly financed by Rajan himself. Not surprisingly, the portrayal of the don was very sympathetic.
it is for the frst time that such a story had been put forward in the indian television and we r literally drugged by it...... brilliant work and brilliant concept by the production house...and the CVs.....👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
